[Learning the Skills of Blacksmithing!]

Perhaps it was because of my body is quite tired from all the works, so I couldn't feel any of the increase of strength within me. But aid with the fatigue, I managed to fall into a deep sleep, and finally obtained a good and satisfying long rest. The next day, I was woken up by a few knocking on the door, seems like someone purposely come over to see me.

I went over to open the door, and it is actually Section Leader Zhu with the Staff that used to show the way of refining the Crystals before the exams start. After a short introduction by the staff, I finally know that he is called as Kong Rong. Within the crystal Section, he is one of the experienced staff that keeps helping the weaker performance workers to reach their target best possible.

Trusted by Section Leader Zhu personally, Kong Rong and him came together to see how I was doing for the first three days. I withdraw a total of 14 Medium Grade 10 Green Physical Crystals for them to have a look, and in their eyes, a look of impressive could be seen, before the words actually came out from their lips in sync.

Of course, they praised me for my quite excellent improvement, and have high hopes for me. We talked for a while before they walk away, and for myself, I head towards the Crystal Cave once again and quickly looks for a tunnel to went in the moment I reached. But this time, I was shocked the moment I start, because I totally forgot about my increase of strength yesterday.

The Strength of my power increased by 1.03, from its initial 0.03, and with that single point of power increment, I could actually destroy the protruding rocks with crystals hidden within without any difficulties. Aid with my physical body condition had increased by another 1.00 points, I felt not tired at all after swinging that heavy strikes.

With this new found strength in my hand power and body strength, I begin to quickly mine the crystals without any hesitation, although the scanning skills are still being used to increase the success rate of obtaining the most of the crystals. The speed of my mining begins to increase drastically, and within four hours this time, I already managed to collect a total of 500 Crystals already, compared to the previous five hours of mining.

But soon, I start to notice that there is some difference in the kind of stones after I had mine for a short while. The stones over here have the appearance of a deeper bluish colour, and with each strike hit on the stones, only a crack could be seen. Noticed that the hardness of these stones around here is slightly harder, I tried to mine the rock slowly, and finally, after trying for around ten minutes, I finally managed to make a few chips on its rougher edges.

I picked the rough chips that I managed to had it taken out from that piece of extremely hard stone, and unexpectedly, it is actually a special kind of item known as the Crystalized Stones. I only heard from some of the people that was sharing its information when we were working in the Crystal Section, and that the Crystalized Stones is something that could be refined from smaller chips into a bigger piece of Crystal Stone, and that its price is depending on its weight.

The Crystalized stone is unexpectedly hard to mine, but their weight is unimaginably light from their looks. The few chips that I managed to separate from the main stone actually weight even lighter than a single feather, and that this Crystalized Stone actually sold in according to weights. Anyway, I decided to continue to mine a few more piece from the rock, and see what results could come out from the end results soon.

But, my luck wasn't all good today. After I strike at the piece of stone for another twenty to thirty times, I actually destroyed my pickaxe. Its edges became blunt from striking such a strong kind of stones, and the part between the metal Pick and its Wooden Handle got loose, and finally fall off into two parts.

Seeing that I have no other choice but to return to the town, I exit the tunnel, returned the tag to the entrance, and leave the town. But what is weird about the Cave is, the moment I exit the tunnel and another miner went in, his path became totally different, and that the stone surface that recently revealed by me actually did not appears along with his path, as he had his own mining done at some other parts.

I returned to the town again, and went into the same Merchandise Shop once again, only to see the previous female reception within the shop busy cleaning the item they have for sale. "Hi, beauty." I greet the female as she turned around and stared at me. "Oh, it's you again, what are you looking for this time?" she actually changed her attitude as she speaks with me. Since the two of us don't really have anything difficult to talk between us, I went straight to the point and mentioned about purchasing a new pickaxe.

"Well, what I would recommend to such a heavy user should be the Upper Grade 10 Brass Pickaxe, but its price is 15 Black Spirit Crystals." she pointed at a Pickaxe that was stored on the highest shelves and mentioned about the price. Seeing the exorbitant price of fifteen Black Spirit Crystals, I hesitate for a moment, but after I think about my broken Pickaxe, I decide to purchase the Pickaxe.

But when I put my hand into my pocket, I actually left with only seven Black Spirit Crystals after this few days. But since I have an abundant amount of Lower Grade 10 Crystals in my Compartments pocket, I decided to check if I could come back again instead. After I checked with the female reception, she agreed to wait for me for a moment as their shops would be open for another few more hours.

I make haste and quickly reach the Crystal Exchange Stall, and exchange for a total of 100 Crystals in a shot. With fifty Black Spirit Crystals in my pocket, I returned to the shop to purchase the pickaxe, before the Female reception whispers to my ears. "You are not too rich, am I correct, why not you learn how to repair your own pickaxe, so you could save in your cost? Additionally, you could enhance it as well, so it would be killing two birds with one stone." she finished her words as she left to continue her cleaning works.

Carrying her words back to the Refining Workshop, I checked in and report myself into the Refining Central Workshop to begins with my refining task once again. Since I have quite an amount of Crystals in hand, I've decided to refine two hundreds of them for today and took some time to rest afterwards. Then, in that forty trials, I actually obtained results of 8 over 40, which means, my success rate is finally 20% after I obtained the increment from the Crystal Refining Skill.

With my experience point currently at 48/80, perhaps in the next day, my Crystal Refining Level will be increased to its fifth level, and my success rate will increase by 10% by that time. But then, I actually noticed some additional things within the list in the Status Panel. I quickly finished the meal provided to everyone working and returned to my room without a single word with others.

I actually got two skills from hitting that piece of rock. If I could increase my effort much more, perhaps more and more skills and special abilities will come to me later. I could see that living in this world, you might be required more skills than others to completely manage to handle yourself in all kind of situations. Even the Power Stats and the Physical Stats of mine actually is at its 1.03 currently through using 100 of the Lower Grade 10 Crystals and to obtain a pure single point of the increment in any of my stats, I actually need to obtain 98.97 points more. And with each single piece of Lower Grade, 10 Crystals actually increase the points of my stat by 0.01, I will need to assimilate a total of 9,897 pieces of crystals before I can have a status of 6 points in my Strength or Physical.

Time, Effort, Chances and Opportunity! This is all I need to grasp if I wish to get stronger in this world. Knowing more about this world will allow me to live within for a longer period of time. This means, from now on, I will need to become even greedier with everything. I will make a trip to the Blacksmith tomorrow and see if I could start to learn how to craft and blacksmithing before I return to the Crystal Cave to start furiously mine for crystals.

By the way, I wonder how the Refining Workshop managed to possess such a large amount of crystals in their warehouse. The Ling Hun Crystal Cave has around 150 Tunnels opened with Veins running within, thus the crystal mining had been going smoothly for now. But if a normal miner like what I am before, able to mines around eight hours a day, and only came out with results of around 100 crystals, 150 tunnels times three different miners a day, would result in a sum of 45,000 Crystals is mined each single day. That's almost 1.5 Million Lower Grade 10 Crystals each month.

That's too much of a math for me now. I should just focus on getting my quota completes this time and starts to see what I could quickly try to do next. After all, I possess the secretive Pedlar Setup Ring that allows me to learn all kind of skills. I calm myself down, as I get to sleep. The next morning, I wake up at almost the same time as I was used to before I went down for a meal and getting ready to start my day.

And today is exactly the fourth day I am employed within the Refining Workshop, so I have a total of 26 days remain before I have to hand over a total of 90 Medium Grade 10 Crystals to met my monthly quota. Since I am transferred into this world six days ago, it means that I am within this world for exactly one week already.

This means, Within this one week, many things had already started to change, and I would have to push over this limit and obtains more than what other people could expect. Without bothering about anything else, I leave the Refining Workshop once again and head straight towards the Blacksmith Workshop located thirty minutes away from the Refining Workshop.

As I entered the Blacksmith Workshop, there is a list of service they could do for people that visit their establishments. Learning skills related to Blacksmithing is not as strict as Refining because blacksmithing is more or less a life skill and not a specific profession. But to learn the skill is not cheap either, as it cost ten Black Spirit Crystal just to learn the basics. Without feeling any love towards my money, I handover the ten Black Spirit Crystals to the Cashier as I was lead to a private workshop.

Within here, three master blacksmith slowly explains the essence and the cream of crops of this profession to me before they start with the techniques, tricks and small advantageous they could take during the blacksmithing process. And really skills that could earn money and cost a huge amount of money, even the recipe of creating and handling a certain kind of tools, is required to be purchased. But since I already paid for my first ten Black Spirit Crystals as the lesson charges, I am allowed to choose three recipes to learn.

After I check through all the scrolls, I finally decided on choosing three specific kind recipes. The first one is, of course, the Pickaxe Recipe that would allow me to handle all the tricks regarding how to properly managed a Pickaxe and recreate it again and again, and perfecting it. The second recipes end up to be a piece of Light-weight smelted armour. It came in three parts, the Body, the Waist and the Lower. The Light-Weight Recipe might be useful for me, as it suddenly came to my mind that the Crystalized Stone I saw yesterday, Might be useful for me in a long run if I managed to properly craft them into useful equipment.

Lastly, the third recipes belonged to a kind of Wrist Protector with sneak needle launcher projectiles. Since I am quite a fighter or even a martial artist, the be able to depend on this kind of weapon would be quite great for myself to get used to it. Added with my Pedlar status, I believed that I might have specific recipes that could only be used and created by myself, instead of being dependent on others.

With this three recipes, I actually received a card that allows me to enter a different Cave located not too far from the Ling Hun Crystal Cave. The cave is called as the Ling Hun Ore Cave, a place for the blacksmith to obtain most of their ores and materials from within. Since I have nothing else to be done over here, I went to have a look at the Ling Hun Ore Cave, since I would require some raw material to start working on my pickaxe.
