“We better sort out our kit.” I say to Dave as I start dividing the stuff into 2 piles. Dave helps and we end up with 2 piles almost identical in composition except Dave’s has a bayonet. “Let’s go take this stuff to my room.” I say to Dave as I pack away everything except for my Lasgun, a power pack, and my Flak Armor into the backpack. I heft my backpack and walk towards my room which now has my name on the door. ‘How convenient.’ I twist the knob and enter setting my pack down on the desk. “Just set your pack down on the desk. Actually let’s see if you can use the room next to this one.” I say to Dave.
I exit my room and place my hand on the door next to mine. ‘Individual already owns a room. Would you like to switch rooms?’
“That’s interesting it looks like I can only have 1 room. Hey Dave can you place your hand on this door for a second.” I tell Dave.
“As you wish ‘Josh’.” Dave responds. He places his hand on the door. I wait for him to tell me if it said anything. ‘Why isn’t he saying anything?’
“So what happened.” I ask Dave.
“Nothing.” Dave responds.
“Did you hear a voice when you put your hand on the door?” I ask.
“No.” Dave responds.
“I guess Created beings can’t own rooms. Good to know.” I say. ‘I’ll have to change my room to accommodate Dave.’ I walk into my room and take my pack. I set my pack down outside and place my hand on the door I think about changing my room to have 2 beds in it. ‘I’ll probably need a kitchen since I’ll be here for 10 days.’ I also thinking about adding a kitchen next to the bathroom. I open the door and find the rom has changed to accommodate my wishes. “Good now you have a bed Dave.” I say.

“Thank you, ‘Josh’.” Dave answers.
“Don’t mention it.” I tell him.
“As you wish ‘Josh’, I shall not mention this incident.” Dave says.
“That’s not what I… Ugh, fine.” I sigh. After setting my pack down on my desk which is now between the beds I walk to the kitchen. I place my hand on the fridge inside the kitchen. ‘Please think of a food item.’ ‘I wondered if I had to buy food from the orb. I guess it provides food while we’re here.’ I think of an apple. When I open the fridge an apple is sitting in the fruit bin. ‘Nice.’ I open up the plastic drawer and take out the red apple. I bite into. ‘Wow, this is delicious! It’s so crisp and sweet. I’ve never had an apple like this.’ I finish the apple quick. ‘That’s the first thing I’ve had to eat for hours.’ I think of another apple and it appears I take it and head into the bedroom.
I walk to the door that is supposed to lead to the basement. ‘I think I know what the basement is for. It’s probably there for a training room of some sort. Considering we probably shouldn’t test our weapons in our rooms.’ I put my hand on the door knob. I think of a set of stairs leading down to a room with a firing range, track, and fighting ring. ‘If I’m going to be fighting for my life I’ll need to train with my Lasgun and I also need to train my body.’ I open the door and see a set of concrete stairs. I go down the stairs and see a massive concrete room with a track, fighting ring and firing range. ‘Good it worked.’ I walk back up the stairs and grab my Lasgun and put a power pack inside it. “Dave grab your Lasgun we have some training to do.”

“Ok ‘Josh’.” He answered. Mirroring my actions and following me down to the firing range. Once I get there I wait for Dave to arrive. When he arrives I take aim at one of the targets that is 50ft away. I line up the iron sight and pull the trigger. A bright flash of light occurs but no kick back. ‘I don’t know what I expected, it’s a laser weapon after all not a kinetic weapon. It doesn’t use gunpowder.’ I set down my weapon and head to the target. ‘It hit right where I aimed. As expected from something that fires beams of light, it’s extremely accurate.’ I head back and pick up my Lasgun. ‘It’s extremely accurate that means I need to learn to control my body so it doesn’t shake so I can use that extreme accuracy. I’ll also need to train my endurance so I can escape if need be. Not to mention I’ll need to get comfortable with moving with my Flak Armor and full load out, so much to do.’
“No time like the present to get started. Come on Dave let’s get to work.” I say as I take aim with my Lasgun.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
