One Thousand years ago, as the old empire fell into ruin, the Church of the nameless God of Light and Mercy rose to prominence by pulling the continent of Mirno out of the darkness left in the wake of its collapse. Now, Abbot, the son of one of the saint's who originally spread the church, and bearing the memories of a young man from another world, goes forth from his home on a new adventure. He dreams of someday being a hero, but he'll have to get over the fact that he can't swing a sword to save his life first. Along the way, he will encounter new allies and old foes in a world of war and monsters, where forces of both light and darkness are soon to clash.
