I’m really sorry for this super duper late chapter.

Chapter 7

Hakuya started attacking Maria with a series of kick and slash but unfortunately she dodged it all. She raised her right hand and thousands of spears appeared.

[Dark Spear.] (Maria)

All of the spears started to move towards Hakuya at high speed. He managed to deflect and dodge some of them but there were too many spears so he couldn’t dodge and deflect them all. Some of the spears hit him so he stepped back in order to dodge some of the spears left.

“Hmmm, thousands of my [Dark Spears] aren’t enough? Maybe I’ll create millions of spears next~ “ (Maria)

“Y-you’re crazy......” (Hakuya)

Hakuya was on his knees because one of the spears got his feet. She was giggling while looking at him.

“....Thanks.” (Hakuya)

“You’re weak but there’s room for improvement so just come with me quietly and I will not hurt you anymore and also you’ll be stronger. Isn’t that a win-win deal?” (Maria)

“Gah!” (Hakuya)

“I forgot to tell you that my spears have poison coating on it. My bad~” (Maria)

Hakuya’s body was getting numb and numb every second and his vision is going blurry now. He was about to lose consciousness but he heard crystal’s voice. It was not very clear but he heard the last thing she said. He stood up and a large amount of power came out of him. His left arm’s tattoo glowed.

Hakuya’s wounds stopped bleeding and his body emitted a blue aura. His senses sharpened, a spear appeared in front of him but he didn’t move. The spear moved and was about to hit him but he disappeared the moment the spear was about to pierce through him. Maria was surprised when she saw this. He noticed that his speed, strength and vitality has increased dramatically.

“Thanks!” (Hakuya)

“That's enough.“ (Hakuya)

He said while grinning.

> (Crystal)

“Finished healing? I know that tattoo but I can’t remember where I saw it but that doesn’t matter! Here I come!” (Maria)

Maria charged at Hakuya but he disappeared again. Maria stopped and scanned the whole area. She saw him but he always quickly disappears. He was currently moving at high speed and he saw lots of spear which he didn’t saw earlier. He also saw an incredible amount of black aura surrounding Maria.

“Nice!” (Hakuya)

“Stop running around and be a good boy or I will kill everyone on this place!” (Maria)

“Turn around.” (Hakuya)

Maria turned around and she saw 4 spears impaled on her back. Hakuya laughed when he saw the face of Maria who was in pain.

“.... You really don’t value your life don’t you?” (Maria)

“Just leave if you value your life too and also, you have a pretty high number of spears around you.” (Hakuya)

Hakuya said while holding 2 spears and playing like he was going to throw it at Maria.

“Don’t get ahead of yourself! [Dark nebula]” (Maria)

A huge shadow came out from the floor and it covered everything in the whole area including Hakuya. Maria watched from a distance while playing with her hair. The shadow that covered the area where Hakuya is standing disappeared after a few seconds and then Maria saw Hakuya standing in the middle of the destroyed place. He fell down and tried to stand up.

“You look pathetic! Where did your arrogance go?” (Maria)

“..........” (Hakuya)

Maria kept laughing until Hakuya was on his feet. He tightly held both of swords tightly. The remaining time of his [dragonic boost] was 7 minutes.

[Phantom strike.] (Hakuya)

Hakuya attacked Maria but she didn’t notice because his movement was soundless. Maria felt intense pain and she looked where Hakuya was supposed to be but he’s not there. She caught a glimpsed of Hakuya moving at high speed. She smiled and mumbled [Soul blast]. A loud explosion was heard throughout the whole area.
