Adventurers lodge,
South street
14th day of the first Twin Heroes
"So how's the boy'o, Has he gotten better since we got back?"(Chazz)
"Well hes not crying and he's acting as if it was part of the job. Heck he even made me do a status check on both of you to make sure you guy's were okay."(Katie)
"Haha, then he's back to his usual self then ahahahha, *bonk*. Hm."(Chazz)
"No you idiot can't you see he's trying to be strong for us. He's our leader so of course he can't go around showing any weakness that's probably what he's doing."(Tobi)
"Exactly, Tobi good analysis. He thinks he can just shove his feelings down without atleast coming to terms with them but that's not right if he doesn't get any closure who knows when he might snap and in adventuring going with an unstable person isn't a good idea."(Katie)
"True, true, if we dont deal with this problem now he might develop a savior complex and fall even deeper if another one of us dies."(Tobi)
"Tobi, as a man you should understand that we deal with thing's differently than women we shoulder our problems and become stronger emotionally through them, we don't go chatting about it and we certainly dont express how we feel about it."(Chazz)
"Geez if only Jerry was still here he was sensitive enough to atleast understand what I'm trying to say."(Katie)
"..."(Everyone)
No one said anything, Katie was stricken with regret as soon as she said his name. Everyone remembered how kind-hearted Jerry was they knew that what she spoke of was the truth however just uttering his name filled them with guilt and pain. One of their trusted friends, a teammate, a partner had been left behind due to overwhelming numbers, it was neither they're faults, but it was inevitable for them to feel how they did, it was a decision that costed them a friend but one that meant everything in the dangerous life they lived.
"The reason why Tobi says so, is because this is a different matter, his brother died, not a stranger he partnered up with or someone we were hired to escort, no it was his flesh and blood the one he protected through his childhood and one of his reasons for living, the only family left and now they're gone. Left behind because rescue was impossible, think about it. This isn't something that someone should shoulder alone, sure as guy's we dont like speaking about it but we do appreciate action more than words."(Tobi)
"Aye, something tells me pointy ears has an idea."(Chazz)
"Indeed I do, huddle up."(Tobi)
Through Tobias orders they all came together and huddled with the elf whispering in secrecy the plans for what he wanted the team to do. Chazz and Katie throughout the explanation nodded agreeingly pleased with what they were hearing until a door opened up and they each jumped back with fright.
"Alright guy's everythings settled now, with this one of the highest paying jobs we've ever done has been officially completed and it has made us basically rich. Hehe. Now due to some unforeseen circumstances we each have more than we expected but that's just part of the job description as such I've taken the liberty of dividing up the spoils equally amongst everybody as we always do. So without any delay 125 gold for you, you, you, and me *He said this placing a bag of gold coins within arms reach of each of his teammates*."(Leeroy)
"Uhm, you know due to this unforeseen accident then I guess we should give you the leftover coins since it's obvious that..."(katie)
"No way, this is how we established that it would happened if it were any of us. So this is how it should be *Gulps back a lump in his throat*."(Leeroy)
"Pssst, go and distract him*he whispered to Katie*."(Tobi)
" Right then how about you accompany me on a shopping spree then, I've never had a spree before but it sounds like fun."(Katie)
"Eh, I don't know, something tells me that even though you're a farm girl you're still gonna take your time shopping."(Leeroy)
"Just for that you're coming with me no objections. *She said as she grabbed and pulled on his arm dragging him out of the room*."(Katie)
"Wow, lasse knows how to act a role alright."(Chazz)
"You said it so let's go get busy with the plan we've got until Dawn and we've got to find a good spot."(Tobi)
"You deal with the information I'm going to get the torches and food."(Chazz)
---------------------------------------------------------
"Unbelievable and you're really going through with it bro?"(Boy)
"Yeah are ya, are ya?"(Girl)
"Yes I certainly am. Just like our aunt I'll make sure to come back as a hero who can either rule this nation or make one myself, however I'll be burdening atleast one of you because of it. I tell you this now so that no resentment will ever come out of the future. One of you will be, king or queen of this kingdom I don't want either of you fighting like heirs normally do, do you hear me. Sure a political competition is always needed for a ruler, but nothing shady that could permanently harm either of you."(Droy)
"Hahaha no worries bro I'll make sure to rule and protect Camille so that she won't ever have to do anything."(Boy)
"No fair, what if I want to be queen so that you don't have to do anything Marc."(Camille)
"Ahaha, then may the best sibling win, ahahaha *he laughs as he ruffles both of their heads and grabs them on his arms."(Droy)
"Now then you guys are still awake go on and get to sleep or you wont be able to be rulers."(Droy)
"What?! Then do you want to sleep over again Camille."(Marc)
"Maybe if you beat me to the corridor slow poke."(Camille)
"Aaah, no fair you got a head start *huffs and puffs*."(Marc)
"What am I worrying about those two would never start fighting.*A big smile spreads on his face*"(Droy)
'Now then father said he wanted to speak of something else I guess I should head over.'(Droy)
---------------------------------------------------------
"Ah Droy my son, thank you for passing by before going to bed do you wish to commence our talk now or later and have some quality time with your father."(Alfonse)
"Why not both, can we not talk about politics and share some fine alcohol at the same time father. *He cracks a smile towards his father*."(Droy)
"Of course we can, royal guards Silence."(Alfonse)
At his order the Royal Guards armored with obsidian and gold painted Steel-Orichalclum armor began moving. They surrounded some guards as well as servants that were in the room and began taking them outside.
"Hey what are you doing get off of me, aaah no what are you doing stop it aaaaah."(Guard)
"Hey come on guys what are you doing, we're brothers in arms aren't we. No come on, let me go, let me go!"(Guard2)

"Stop it."(Guard3)
"Kyaaah, stop this instant the king requires a servant."(Maid)
"Nooooo please no my king I've sworn my fealty to you please."(Guard4)
"Kyaaaah, no, no, someone please the Royal guards have gone mad."(Maid2)
"Father I hope you have an explanation for what you have done just now *He says as he takes a seat next to his father, unmoved by the sudden action of the Royal Guards*."(Droy)
"Ah about that those guards and servant's were spies from the nobility they've grown rather numerous as of late only the most trustworthy know how to respond whenever I say certain words."(Alfonse)
"Ah so silence would mean to the dungeon with all spies."(Droy)
"Precisely, now here have a glass of this fine "Honey Ant ale", it's said to be exquisitely crafted by the expert ale lords of the nordsmen I tell you they may be brutes but their ales are on a whole other level of finesse compared to them."(Alfonse)
"Thank you, now what was so important you had to condemn half the servants of this room to the dungeons."(Droy)
"Yes well it's obviously involving the nobility could you not figure it out yourself my child *He says taking a sip from his half empty glass."(Alfonse)
"Then from a simple assumption it would seem that perhaps the nobles are trying to gather political, military, and probably even secrets of the royalty to gain leverage against you. They intend to have you step down early, assassinate or kidnap me and have one of my siblings take charge with the nobles behind them pulling the strings as you so said before, or am I wrong *sips from his glass*."(Droy)
"Then do you understand the dangers of becoming an adventurer yet or do I have to spell it out for you. You become one and you die, the nobles will find you, they will attempt to use you as leverage against me and I will refuse them, they will think of it as me trying to call them on a bluff and next thing that follows will be a message in the form of a body part; son I will not break, as a father I will suffer more than anything, but as a king I will be merciless and if it is to prevent the nobility from gaining control and sending this kingdom into ruin due to their greed and ambitions I will not hesitate in making the right decision you will die."(Alfonse)
"And yet you forget that theres always another option don't you *Takes a sip from his drink*."(Droy)
"Droy I cannot send you an escort of guards simply because you are my son after you become an adventurer you will have no ties with us and cannot receive any help from us at that point."(Alfonse)
"Sometimes you are wise father but other times I wonder if your feelings cloud you. Isn't that right * he motions towards an open window whose curtain holds a figure with seductive curves in the background*."(Droy)
"You know he just pretends to be wise, he's really just a dumb little boy who can only think with the pieces he holds full control over."(Mirelia)
"Mirelia, I-I see yes that certainly could work, haha yes *Finishes his drink and takes out another glass filling them both up.* Come sit and drink with us, lets drink one final time as a family before my boy leaves me."(Alfonse)
"You getting sentimental on us now Alfie, your not old enough to be at that stage but I'll let it slide for my favorite little brother."(Mirelia)
With the passing cool breeze entering through the window the adult members of the royal family spent the night drinking in bliss with the feeling of happiness surrounding there close moment.
---------------------------------------------------------
'Oh god it been almost like 6 hours how long is she going to take *Sighs*.'(Leeroy)
'That little twerp better hurry up The shops are all closed so I can't really hold him any longer.'(Katie)
'Katie, Katie, is the spell working can you hear me.'(Tobi)
"Tobi."(Katie)
'Shhh, don't speak out loud. Listen I'm using a telepathy spell take him outside of the the city, pass the bridge and go walk to Pixie Beach right now.'(Tobi)
"Uhm, sure."(Katie)
"Sure what Katie."(Leeroy)
"Oh nothing just thinking out loud that I wanted to go to Pixie Beach right now, and your answer will obviously be "sure"."(Katie)
"It's gonna be dawn in a couple of hours, I seriously think we should head back to the lodge."(Leeroy)
"Lee, you don't really have a choice you know."(Katie)
"*Sigh* Fine let's just go already."(Leeroy)
"Thank you very much leader. Teehe."(Katie)
---------------------------------------------------------
"Alright were here so what did you want to see Kate, huh whaaaaa?*Eyes get Covered*"(Leeroy)
"Shhh, no peaking Lee."(Katie)
"Come on Kate I'm not in the mood for games."(Leeroy)
"Don't be a baby were almost there."(Katie)
"I thought it was Pixie beach were we we're gonna go."(Leeroy)
"Here we are. Open your eyes now."(Katie)
Opening his eyes Leeroy saw a sight he didn't expect. Glowing orbs of lights made of different colors surrounded the area that he was standing on, Tobias and Chazznick were also present inside a circle of torches that held enough space for four people. Katie entered the circle and motioned for him to come inside. With a surprised face Leeroy slowly stepped inside of the circle and asked his friends.
"Uhm guys what's going on?"(Leeroy)
"What's going on, I'll tell ya what's going on, because these little know it alls think that they understand you more then yourself they think that you need something called closure so we went on and made a memorial, fer something like a funeral."(Chazz)
"Sheesh way to break it gently."(Tobi)
Leeroy could not believe what they had done, even if they had done this with the best of intentions to him it felt immensely cold of them to do this. His brother had only been gone about two days and already they planned his funeral it felt like they wished to forget him as soon as possible leaving him behind so that they could forget all about him.
"What, guy's its only been two day's and already you guy's are trying to leave behind my brother's memory *He said this with irritation showing in his voice*."(Leeroy)
"On the contrary Lee we did this because we wish to honor his memory and not be tied down by it like you."(Katie)
"Kate you too."(Leeroy)
"Look at what we are Leeroy Jenkins, we are adventurers we aspire to thrive on exploration and monster extermination. No matter what the dangers, we strive to move forward and we trample on them as if they were our stepping stones. People will be lost in our quest for greatness, those we love and those we barely know."(Katie)
"But even so Leeroy we will move forward with or without you."(Chazz)
"We aren't trying to be cold here Leeroy were just saying that if you don't put the past behind you, we will have to leave you behind because as adventurers we know we cant function if we have problems. That's what this is all about this is a service to the greatness of your brother so we don't tarnish his death with failures in the future *Lights up the Torches with a blue flame of magic*. "(Tobi)
"So please join us*She extends her right hand* and let's honor Jerry."(Katie)
"Damnit you guys, you wont even let me suffer when I want to will you *A tear falls from his right eye*. I-I don't think I'm ready to move on I mean *sobs* I know I'm your leader but he was my brother."(Leeroy)
"Oy, no! That's why were here laddy, you ain't ready and that's why we're forcing ya. Do you think we want to be this cold, do ya. We don't want to, but if we keep on wallowing inside ourselves pretending that nothings wrong when really everything's fucking going downhill in our minds we'll go insane. So quit yer crying and get in the circle o' fire sticks already. *mumbles: freaking Lilly livered, candy ass.* What? You think he's the only one hurting, Girly boy was the only one who appreciated art with me back in Nordstrum."(Chazz)
"Hehe, alright you guy's win. *wipes away tears, and cleans the sand of his pants* So how's the ceremony going to be?"(Leeroy)
"Good of you to ask, you know what fire and sand create right? Glass correct, well look here Tobi has made a dense and strong non transparent glass capable of resisting storms, and pillagers thanks to some barrier magic that only allows us four to touch it. It will be held in place by the roots of some of this nearby root like trees and Tobi has already inscribed Jerry Jenkins in it. This will serve as a memorial for him so Tobi wanted to know if you wanted to inscribe anything else since you are his brother. Also we shouldn't take any quest for about 3 days since this costed me quite a large amount of mana."(Tobi)
After Tobi finished talking, Leeroy closed in and knelt next to the square glass stone that Tobi had made. It read,
In memory of Jerry Jenkins, member of the Nor'drens, talented Swiftblade and beloved brother.
The inscription was simple and adequate, he hadn't lived much of a life but it was the truth. Yet Leeroy felt that something was missing.
"Okay give me the pick, after me you guys decide what your putting, the above was the obvious part, *He begins inscribing something* I want him to know how much he meant to us with what we are gonna write so make it mean something."(Leeroy)
Finishing his inscription he passed the pick on to Chazz, him to Katie, and her to Tobi. The final words that were added were,
...
He whom I would've died for.
-Leeroy Jenkins
Friend of the arts and true family to me. - Chazznick Troubadour
Loving and caring friend, truest of mine. -Katie Molark
The wisest of Tobi's friends, and one Tobi could've called a teacher.
- Tobias Leaven
"Oi, Tobi why is it that I feel your calling the rest of us stupid in yours."(Chazz)
"It's all in the eye of the beholder."(Tobi)
"Runt. Now enough drama I brought food and alcohol lots of 'em."(Chazz)
As the cool night air chilled, and the group settled in for drinks and food Leeroy looked up to the sky and gave one final farewell to his brother from his heart.

Prerequisites for Greatness (RWBY)
Jaune always knew that being a hero meant going on adventures, sometimes very far from home. He just hadn't thought he would start so early, or so far. Sadly he wasn't high level enough to learn teleportation, nor did life have an easily accessible mount option. His own two legs and an occasional donkey would have to do. Medieval setting; gamer Jaune. You don't need to know anything about the RWBY universe to read this.

8 322The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
