《Micro-Management: Survival Base》Another Overseer

Duncan watched the settlers as they experimented on the Flash Grinder. Andre was busy disecting the Flash Grinder and obtaining useful parts of the figure. A sac of silk , Sac of Luciferin, The armored legs of the spider. The corpse was studied by the scientist Andre while the others were recuperating.
When the Flash Grinder died Duncan gotten a few points from it so he wasn't complaining.
Using his fingers to scroll he went to check out the areas under his control.
The main tunnel, the back tunnel, a breeding room, a storage room, a few tunnels, a generator room, a laboratory.
These were what he had unlocked. Duncan looked at the current residents. There was many more mantises, dragonflies and centipedes due to the fact that the engine helped with the incubation. Allowing for them to have a higher growth potential and life-spans.
Since Duncan's residence had went outside before Duncan could see what was outside of the tunnel. The dragonflies seem to have left the area alone for the most part so Duncan ordered Andre to disable to defense network so that the people could go outside for food.
Duncan finished up some final preparations and then closed his phones and went off to school.

Sandra was caring for the many baby insects. The remains of the Flash Grinder was fed to them and they all wiggled happily and moved around. Another Sahuagin was born and made the total into three. The Nymphs had finally grown up and were buzzing around wanting to find food but Sandra had trained them well to not attack humans. The mantises were like sentinels of the den, they stood motionlessly keeping vigilance for any mishap, disturbances that the hatchlings could cause.
The Centipedes were clearing the rubble and moving them to make structures. Simple homes and hives for the residents.
When the tunnel barricade finally cooled down a few centipedes were sent out to gather food. Manny was also sent out to make sure they stay in line.
Loveheart was organizing the mirrors to capture another Flash Grinder. Due to Andre's research they've been able to find out that the silk would make great bandages, as well as cloth armor. A live specimen that could produce these silks would be a great addition to the colony so he was having Eric as bait so that the Flash Grinder could paralyze itself once more.
The colony was now mostly insects but they listened to the humans as if they were their mothers. Sandra was the main mother but they trusted a few of the other humans. An example was the sentient centipede's father Eric, they also trusted the mothers that gave birth. They didn't really like Loveheart nor do they like Andre but both were oblivious to the hate.

The sahuagins were being aggressive to those who came close to their child who happily played in the pond with the dragonfly nymphs. After a few hours production of the Flash Grinder silk and a successful hunt started to make things worthwhile.

At school Duncan was busy taking a test in his history class.
What empire came after the Roman Empire in which the east half of the Roman Empire was successful?
Byzantium
What King in England united the rest of Britain and formed a nation?
William the Conqueror
The era in which all production increased by as much as 30% and where did it originate? With what invention?
The Industrial Era (Industrial Revolution) originating in Great Britain with the invention of the Steam Engine.
More and more questions went by and Duncan felt at ease. The test was a breeze for him, easily finishing within the time given left Duncan with plenty of free-time to do things he wanted to do. Duncan asked his teacher for leave from class and sat down in the library. Checking his Den he was surprised by the sudden influx of points. The last time he checked it was only about 55 points but now he had a total of 271 points.
Not only that but many of his eggs had hatched successfully and he even received a few variants. Such as the Spiked War Mantis and the Venomous Dragonfly. However there was just two or three of these while the rest were just normal mantises and dragonflies.
Duncan was looking at his forces and then remembered the failed attempt on the Dragonfly Hive and how it almost eliminated his Den. "Should I get revenge or should I stay back and move away?" Duncan thought to himself.
The benefits of staying away would definitely out way the differences of having to confront the hive but the problem of staying away was that the hive could become strong enough to burrow into the ground or become heat resistant. Duncan remembered the virus mutated the body of the host and gave them special powers. The Dragonfly became the size of a park bench as one of their mutations. Who couldn't say that the mutation would give it more powers.
Duncan's forces were weak right now, the humans were barely adequate in their jobs and the Insects were not capable of fighting yet. Sure attacking the hive was suicide but elimination of the Hive Queen was more beneficial than not.

Duncan closed his phone and started to walk out of the library thinking about what he could do to gain more points when suddenly his phone vibrated.

Information Bonus: Overseer #17852's scouting party consist of 13 entities. 7 humans, 4 Synthetic Animals, and 2 A.I. You are allowed to know one information about one of the three entities.
Duncan was shocked by the sudden announcement but quickly snapped into focus.
Duncan thought for a bit then chose the animals. Knowing the animals is important because the A.I. are mysterious but since it is only two of them then it should be easy to handle. The humans are also predictable, at most they would be scouts with little to no combat power. As for the animals? If one of them caught Duncan's attention then he can use his capture creature reward to bring it to his side in a critical moment. And what better way to determine which creature to choose than to understand them completely.
Not long after Duncan chose to receive the report on animals did a notification appeared.
Synthetic Animals.
These animals were made by the residents of World #17852. The disaster of this world mainly involves demonic beings going around slaughtering and enslaving humans to use them as a food source.
These animals were made by the demons to hunt humans but humans have managed to tame a few.
Alpher Kaisa Cobra- Cultivated and bred to detect heat signatures, they sense the world through biological heat. They are known to be able to use their poison as a tracker and their main specialty is ensnaring their prey by latching onto them with their teeth and holding on. (Traits: Strong Jaw, Heat Sense, Night Vision, Scent-Driven.)
Grounded Cebidae Bat- Bats that lost the ability to fly. They were bred to become nimble on the ground growing limbs closely related to that of a monkey. Closely listening to the winds to detect noises and then they follow them to their source. They are blind and reliant on sound to be able to move with confidence. They hate fighting but when forced to they take the habit of disorientating their foes with sound waves before smashing them with their fists and claws. (Trait-Strong Lungs, Nimble, Sensative to Sound, Bloodthirsty)
Armored Stag Beetle- These beetles have layers upon layers of keratin armor which is denser than steel. They move slowly but when threatened they rush forward with unstoppable force. Perfect for using as a mount to carry weight. They have a hard time moving when flipped over and their underbelly is vulnerable to most strikes. (Traits- Thick Shell, Enhanced Body, Quick, Strong Muscles)
Armored Dragon Ant- These ants are as capable of lifting buildings. They were created to destroy strongholds by ripping apart the ground itself. They are capable of breathing fire and the spine on its back allows for defense on its usually weak carapace. They normally work together in hoards and swarms but individually they are still powerhouses. (Traits- Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Senses, Razor Jaw, Sharp Legs)
Duncan sweated at the information that was displayed. If the synthetic creatures that were displayed this powerful then what about the humans and A.I.?
Duncan first looked at the map to see where exactly the portal was opened. From the map the portal had opened in an area where Duncan hadn't explored yet but it far from the Den. A shroud of darkness covered the area but from the silhouettes he could see a large circular object that was fluctuating. Suddenly a large object took to the sky and with a screech went to circle the area.
Before coming back down. Duncan was perplexed by this phenomenon. No flying creature was reported in the information so Duncan had to assume that it was either a human with powers or an A.I. piloting a robotic unit.
'What should I do?' Duncan thought to himself as he sat at the table.

The Deathseeker [Under Revision]
NOTE: This story has dark elements, but it's neither grimdark nor particularly edgy. It's also currently being revised. Satan's Axe...Lord of High Honor...The Immortal Giant...The Black Maelstrom...Son of Thunderfield...The Gods' Retribution. Dalric had many names. None were as fitting as his last, Dalric the Deathseeker. Born from an unwanted mating between the greatest warriors of the time, death was his only true kin. It birthed him, molded him, and now standing in the middle of a lifeless battlefield, it drenched him. The blood of thousands of soldiers soaked his skin. Two hundred thousand men approached him that day. All of them sought his life, none of them left with theirs. But they would not die in vain, they had accomplished their mission. Hidden beneath a thousand layers of their blood, was Dalric's very own. Feeling his life fade, he gazed weakly at his work. A seemingly endless array of corpses laid battered and disfigured before him. Some bore faces of horror, most had no face at all. His most trusted companion floated in front of him, blocking the view. Waves of sorrow flowed between them. “My time has finally come. I’ve begged for death and it’s finally arrived. My work is done...and so is yours. You’re free to be who you were meant to.” With his contract with the gods fulfilled, they were truly free. The centuries of torment would end. No longer would they have to walk the path of a monster. Little did Dalric know, the devil was in the details. What To Expect: A good time. In a few more words than that, a cast of believable characters in a unique world dealing with conflicts and problems a little bit more complex than punching the big evil guy in the face. Just a little though. Minimum Word Count a Week: 5000 Release Time(s): Between Friday 12pm EST and Monday 6am EST I also write A King in the Clouds
