《Thank you, Mr. Robot》Chapter 2: To quest, or not to quest

While the so called goddess ran off to change her clothes, Alfred decided to check on his current condition. He was deactivated for quite some time, so he knew his parts must have degraded to some extent.
´That giant crystal object in front of the throne should help me check the back of my body.´ Alfred thought to himself and walked to the crystal screen. The first few steps were extremely difficult, thankfully each step became easier. It seems that his legs were suffering due to disuse and not due to some deep mechanical failure.
When he got within arm's reach of the crystal he saw his current condition, his body was still around 2 meters tall, so his limbs were not replaced while he was offline. And then started muttering to himself.
˝Face shows no signs of deterioration, big red light sensors operational. Smell and sound detector are also fully operational, I detect a faint smell of a fruit pie and was able to hear that person perfectly. Voice module is also working as intended.˝
The rest of his body was sadly not mint condition.
˝Arms and legs show mild signs of oxydation, torso seems to be at 50% integrity. Passable, but not optimal. I wonder if the back part of my body is in the same condition.˝ He rapidly turned around and spun his head 180 degrees.
˝Fuckin' 'ell, that is cool and creepy at the same time!˝ Yelled a dwarf currently cleaning up the mess the goddess left behind. There was a whole lot of crumbs from all the pies she ate and that half eaten apple she just dropped and left there. ´I never imagined constructs were capable of doing that. Oh shit, I better finish cleaning before the goddess comes back.´ The dwarf thought to himself while sweeping the crumbs.

Alfred ignored the silly antics of the dwarf and focused on the back of his body. ´Similar condition, except the right leg seems to be missing a piece of plating at the bottom, I wonder where I lost it. Should probably get a replacement plate in the near future.´ He thought to himself, then spun back round and looked at the crystal with interest.
On closer inspection the crystal did not seem artificial, it seemed to have been more likely grown from a smaller crystal.
´Hm, the object seems to not be 100% rectangular. There are some deformities at the edges, seems like the leftover energy used to grow the crystal is still slowly being used up and making the crystal expand at the edges.´
Then he decided to touch the crystal out of curiosity. ´Hm, it feels cold to the touch. Wait, how is that even possible, I do not have temperature sensors on my fingertips. Seems like some modifications have been made to my body since I was last activated.´ He gazed at his hand in confusion. Just as he was wondering how this was possible since no mechanical parts were added, he saw Artisia hurrying back to the throne.
˝ I apologize for my previous appearance, behold my godly attire!˝ She said, clearly awating some sort of compliment from Alfred.
She was now wearing what seemed to be some sort of scientist outfit, but clearly more extravagant, since it had lots of crystals embedded around it's collar. There were even gold and silver paterns across the whole lenght of the suit. These paterns seemed to make some sort of gear shape, which was also found on the throne. She also fixed her hair a bit, it was not as messy but still quite spiky.

˝Indeed it looks most appropriate for a divine being, such as yourself goddess Artisia.˝ Alfred said while nodding.
Artisia smilled, then clenched her fist and silently said: ˝Yes! Second impression was good, hopefully this conversation goes well.˝
˝Cough, Cough˝
˝So Alfred, you are probably confused as to why you appeared in my divine realm. To my understanding, you were somehow transported from another world to this one. And since you fall under the category of constructs, I the goddess of constructs is obligated to give you information about this world called Terra.˝
Alfred pondered a bit and then said: ˝That seems logical, as this location and these crystals do no seem to be from the same world I came from.˝
˝As I was saying, Terra is a world of magic, that means that besides normal laws of physics there are also the laws of mana. Ah, mana is a sort of energy used to do create amazing things not usually possible. Like this crystal screen here.
But it can also be used to create spells, spells are mana that has been manipulated to create certain effects. An example can be turning mana into a fireball spell or a spell that increases the growth speed of plants. Do you undestand all of this?˝
Clearly not used to explaining this, Aritisia is trying to get a bit of time to catch her breath and figure out what else she needs to explain. Sadly Alfred is quick to understand these things, so she doesn't get much of a breather.
˝Please continue˝
˝Alright, here I go. There are also many different races on Terra, there are dwarves, elves, gnomes and humans and other fantastical beings.
Sadly there are also dangerous monsters such as goblins, wyverns and so forth. So that is about it about the world, expect the part about the system but that will all be explained once you are Terra, all you will have to say is System: Info, and you will get an explanation on the basics.˝
˝Thank you for your explanation, goddess Artisia.˝ Alfred said while bowing.
˝Oh no problem, it is my job anyway. Also just call me Aritisia, since we will probably share a big connection soon anyway.¨ Said Artisia and gave Alfred a wink, which confused Alfred, as he did not understand the concept of winking.
˝So here is my proposition Alfred, I as a goddess formally ask for your assistance in spreading my religion and to help my worshipers on the world of Terra.
In return, I will offer you assistance in the form of a blessing of the Champion, which will give you increased capabilities and immense potential compared to normal beings.˝
˝So what do you say, do you want to partner up? Do you accept this great quest?˝ Artisia said smiling and offering a handshake to Alfred.

Your Mundane Transmigration Into Another World
My second fiction here, it might be similar to the first, but I will focus on improving consistency as it was not very good. The idea is to make a completely ordinary isekai story, but make it right - no cliche, some originality etc. I do not yet know where it will go, but it will involve dungeons at some point, transmigraiton, demons, elves, humans, undead. I will strive for regular updates every friday, but my writing speed is that of a slime (not a native speaker), so I might not deliver every week. Feel free to write what you think, I welcome feedback. HIATUS - will continue after I am done with my other book, I am unable to write two at the same time.

Laying in our spot looking at the sky. I look over to him, into his sky blue eyes and smile. "You know what. I want to be a frog. I never have to leave you. And I can jump so high I can touch the sky. And I'll be free. Oh everything would be amazing!"He smiles at me and giggles. "I want to be a pig. Never have to leave you. AND I get to be as messy as I want!" We both burst into laughter. I'm going to miss this. I hear my mother calling me and my eyes fill with tears. "I'm going to miss you Toby!" I wrap my small arms around him and look into his chubby little face. "I will miss you to, Trissy."

Realm || A Game Of Thrones Fanfiction
'I think deep down inside, everyone likes to see themselves sitting on the Iron Throne. Some just refuse to listen to their desire for power. Others give in to it. And others let other people do the hard work for them. But no matter who you are or have become, no matter what your heart desires or how much power you would like to gain; we will all burn if we don't stand strong together.' || This is a Game of Thrones fanfiction. The story takes place somewhere at the start of season 7. This fanfiction does not follow the entire plot of the new season. Some characters are not where they should be according to the actual story. I do not own Game of Thrones, nor the characters. I do own Anthea Lannister and some other characters.||
