So the big moment, the first steps into evolution, plot twist, you the viewer decide how the story progresses, of course choosing Mantis would mean fights will be more inclined towards melee (but not devoid of magic), Golem would be creative, while hydra and dragon are roughly the same in terms of fights (just their traits would be different)

Overall no human evolution at all, zilch, nada, my opinion that "why have a non-human character when you instantly revert back into it"
