《I Came, I Ran》And It All Goes Dark

The boy was hearing some very unpleasant sounds. He was currently hiding beside the nest; his body being squeezing between the mountain and the nest. From the noises echoing in the boy's mind, he could hear the bird was weeping for its child. And he really didn't want to be found by it.
After some several minutes passed, the boy came out of hiding, as he stopped hearing the terrible mourning noises. He slowly shuffled out from the crevice, and then climbed up back onto the nest. There, the boy found the corpse of the dead chick, and a some slightly torn up patches in the nest.
The boy relaxed, as he could not spot the bird in his vicinity. Without wasting a moment, the grabbed the chick's foot and started to drag it to the edge of the nest. He had to take a break several times, as he wasn't prepared for doing what he was doing. Eventually, the boy reached the edge, before jumping over the edge and looking for two rocks.
Within a few moments, the boy spotted and grabbed two rocks, placing side by side right by the nest. Then, climbing over the edge, the boy grabbed the driest sticks and branches he could find, before placing them all right in the middle of the nest, in a formation that would supposedly burn well.
The boy then strutted there and back, kneeling in-front of the stack of dry-wood. Soon, after banging his fingers a few times, the boy struck the stones together in the right fashion, and they produced a spark. The spark did nothing.
The boy tried and tried again, and the fire lit once, before being put out by the wind. The boy, thoroughly pissed off that his method of cooking isn't working, smashed the rocks together. They shot in the direction thrown, but not before creating a large spark that lit up the dry-wood.

The boy, now ecstatic that his fire was lit up, quickly realized that he had fucked up. 'How the hell am I going to cook the chicken, when the chicken is going to be part of the fuel?'
With that, the boy sighed and got up, jogging his way out of the quickly burning nest. As soon as the boy got off the nest, he looked over the ledge of the mountain to look how to get off before the fire forces him off. The boy saw a nice edge to start off from, and walked on over to it. The climb wasn't going to take a while, the ground wasn't too far down.
The boy climbed and climbed downwards, when he smelled something weird. It was like the smell of rotten egg. 'Wait, metha---SHIII-'
The explosion happened above him the boy, yet it still rid him of his consciousness, his grip on the mountain, and the portion of the mountain he was holding on. The boy fell fast and outward, smashing through a pine-looking tree on his way, and getting buried by it and a several medium-sized rocks.
-----------------------------------------
The boy awoke in someplace dark. As soon as he saw the amount of darkness, and the amount of light in the area he was standing in, the boy figured out he was within his mind again. He tried to go into the darkness, only to walk out onto the light. The boy sighed, and got to doing what he did last time.
He first expanded his area of work, pushing it to twenty meters, and then going the extra mile and putting all his effort into making it thirty meters. The boy then created his training partner again, trying to make it remember all of its fighting memories. He tried to make the Abyssmal set up in its fighting stance it once had, but it just stood there, unmoving facing the boy.

The boy, stumped on how to make the figure remember its training, thought for a moment; before high-kicking it in the head. The boy thought that smacking the body in the head would “awaken” it. The leg didn’t connect, the body caught it. ‘Hallelujah.’
The body then proceeded to throw the boy’s leg downwards, but the boy used the momentum of the throw to uppercut into the Abyssmal’s head. The body moved its head to the side, and, the punch shooting out and upwards into nothing. The boy then fell over on his stomach, sighing and then getting up, seeing the Abyssmal twitching.
“This never happened before...”
After a few more moments of twitching, the Abyssmal stopped, and turned its head to look down at the boy. The Abyssmal grew a mouth, a grin going up to its supposed location of its eyebrows. It then opened its mouth, revealing seemingly infinite rows jagged, disfigured teeth. The Abyssmal had no tongue, but still managed to be terrifying with the way it showed its teeth.
The boy, now thoroughly startled that his creation grew an entirely new body part, removed the implications from his head and approached it, ready to fight. The Abyssmal lowered its head, and got into its fighting position; it removed its smile, going back to a face with no features. The boy went for the first attack, aiming for the gut.
The body caught the fist, and sent its own fist into the boy’s face. The boy tried to move his head to the side, but the punch still slightly grazed him. ‘It seems the thing got better since last time.’ The boy then twisted his arm so that the Abyssmal would have to let go or suffer, all the while sending his other arm to whack it on the hand that was holding his other arm.
The Abyssmal let go of the boy’s hand as its hand was struck, it then stopping any movement it was about to do. The boy confusingly looked at how it the body brought it hand up to its head, almost like it was looking at it. The boy, not wanting to give the Abyssmal any advantage, sent out another attack.
The boy tried to kick the body in the chest, but as the kick was about to connect, the body disappeared. The boy fell into the splits, and let out a short squeal. He then slowly got up from the position, and looked to where the body was. He found it behind him, in a fighting stance, the smile back, and the teeth showing.
