《Reincarnated with Narrator》Soul Mana and Healing Magic
Advertisement
[I'm bored...]
Its been 2 weeks since Leo got reincarnated. Because he's still a todler, all he can do is stare at the ceiling, eat, poop, and sleep. There's nothing he can do about it. Well, he literally can do nothing.
[Ey, shut up. Well, even I don't want to admit it. The guy talking inside my head is right. All I can do is stare at the ceiling... Or maybe...]
Leo closed his eyes and raise his hand as if he was grabbing to the sky. Suddenly a faint white light appeared atop of his palm. Then it covered his body. After shining for 10 seconds the light faded, and his hands came back to normal.
[I knew it! I can practice magic to past time! With this, even though i can't increase my mana, I could still increase my proficiency in healing magic!]
Realizing this, Leo immediately raise his other hand to cast another magic. Another faint white light appeared on his other hands, but unlike to the one he cast previously, this one is more fainter and only lasted 8 seconds.
[Damn. I'm already getting dizzy, and it's only elementary healing magic. Is the mana of a baby is this really low? Or I just don't have a talent? Hmmm.. maybe I really just don't have a talent in magic.]
Leo sighed.
Even though Leo got dejected with that, he still tried to use his magic one more time.
Suddenly, he fainted because of mana depletion.
In his previous life. Leo is a warrior who have a below average mana capacity and can only use a few elementary healing magic before exhausting all of his mana. That's all he can use. He doesn't have any affinity to other magic attributes.
But even though he can only use elementary healing magic, he's already grateful with that. This elementary healing magic... [Oh. I fainted]...saved his life numerous times.

[Eh.. you're still explaining even though I fainted?]
After sometime, Leo woke up.
[Hmm. Well... anyways.. this is intriguing. I only casted 2 elementary healing magics and somehow my mana already got depleted? In my previous life, i could cast it a few times before depleting my mana. So how come I could only cast two?]
While Leo is pondering, he move his hands and try to cast again his healing magic. The white light appeared again on his hands and covered his body, then after a few seconds, it vanished again.
[Hmm?]
This time, the white light last a little longer than his first one. After that, he cast it again and readied himself to fight the dizziness he felt last time. But after using it twice in a row he, felt dizzy but did not faint.
[ I feel dizzy but I didn't fainted... And I think I could cast another two more before fainting. How come? Did my mana increased? But the magicians in magic academy said you can't increase the mana in your body you we're born to, right?]
While saying so, Leo cast another magic again. After doing it twice he fainted again.
The magic researcher in magic academy conclude that it is impossible to increase the mana in human's body. What they did not know is that one could increase their mana capacity while they we're young.
Soul Mana.
This thing are the reason why people can absorb mana inside their body, and control some mana outside their body. The stronger your soul is, the more mana you could hold inside your body.
And the reason why researchers in magic academy couldn't increase their mana capacity is because their soul's stop growing after a certain time.
A newborn baby has a soul like a wet mud, molded into pot. As long as its still wet, one can decide how they will form the pot in pottery wheel, or even add more mud on it to make it bigger.

But once it is stopped spinning and left behind just like that. The mud will harden and it will stay the same at that shape forever.
Leo practiced his magic till he fainted again and again. He made it his daily routine and increase his mana capacity exponentially.
By this time, even though he didn't know what the theory behind this. He already know that by depleting his mana, he could increase his mana capacity. So when he learned about it he became more eager to cast his healing magic and every time he deplete his mana, he will immediately faint.
Because of this, in the eyes of his mother and father, he is just a baby who love to sleep. But in other people's eyes. This newborn baby is kinda weird and it made them worry. Its already wierd that this baby is not crying, but the thing is, its always sleeping and it doesn't even make a sound.
Leo spend most of his everyday life practicing magic. Thus, this dull life of Leo continue as it is.
[Hey! Don't call it dull! Make it wonderful!]
...
1 year pass by.
[Huh!? What one year?! What the hell are you talking abou-]
To be continued...
[The fuck!]

I Have Even Read the Rulebook!

Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. Important notes: 1, I'm not a native speaker, so be prepared for occassional typos, iffy grammar and maybe awkward sentences. The spell check was running, when I wrote the chapters, but it works in strange ways... If you point out mistakes, I will try to correct them 2, Scheduling will be two chapters a week, posted Saturdays before noon (CET). Depending on how much new chapters I can write consistently there will be probably more but as long as I have leftover chapters, the two per week will be posted no matter what. Chapters will be around 1500-2500 words as MS Word counts it. 3, I did not and will not post this novel on another site, if you find it somewhere else, please inform me 4, The Main Character's progression is slow, there will be no Levels, Skills, Abilities, Feats, Perks and Cheat Powers raining down on him 5, I've put Comedy as a genre because of my writing style not because the novel is a comedy per se. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them! Enjoy!
