《SC to MC》Chap 11: My School Nurse is Cute

The first thing I saw when I regained consciousness was an unfamiliar ceiling. I was on an unfamiliar bed surrounded by unfamiliar curtains. But the person next to me was quite familiar.
"I can't believe you fainted from headbutting a girl." Said my best friend with a mischievous smile.
"Sh..shut up." I relied with embarrassment.
"If you're feeling fine, then let's go back to class. The wound on your head isn't that bad. Just a bump."
I touched my head and there, in fact, was a bump and it hurt when touched. Then I suddenly remembered the circumstances leading to this situation.
"What about Pauli?" I asked with a tinge of nervousness.
Suddenly, the curtain on the front opened and appeared a person in a white coat and round glasses. She had her hands in her pocket and had an aura of kindness. She had beautiful black hair and a slightly plump face, just enough to call her cute. Her stature was fairly small but she was undoubtedly my school nurse, Ms Sweet Pumpkin. As you might have already guessed, that's not her real name, but due to her kind and slightly klutzy personality, she's loved by all high school boys and has been given that nickname. I doubt anyone even remembers her real name anymore.
"She too had a bump on her head but its not too bad. It'll heal in a few days time as so will yours."
"Huh?" I let out a weird sound.
"Y.. You were asking about Pauli, right? I..I'm sorry if I heard incorrectly" she said getting a little flustered.
"Ah no. It's completely fine. You did not mishear, miss Patisa."
(Whoa. As expected of Yuko to know her real name. But miss Patisa? I wonder why that reminds me of a certain something to eat.)

"Oh.. That's umm... Yes! How are you feeling now... Rota, is it?"
"I'm completely fine now. It doesn't hurt unless I touch it."
"I see. Also, do you see any blackness around your eyes or something like light rays coming out from the tube light?" She said while pointing at one of the tube lights on the ceiling.
I looked at one of the tubelights and squinted due to the brightness.
"No." I replied, turning towards her again.
"Alright. That's good. There is nothing to worry about. The cause of you fainting could be due to high blood pressure just prior to your head colliding. Did you go through any scary situation or embarrassing situation or such?" Ms Patisa asked with a completely innocent face without thinking about the delicate heart of a high school boy.
"Umm.. Yeah.. Something like that might have happened." I remembered my embarrassing fantasies about Pauli and could feel my face going red.
Ms Patisa probably misunderstood something and her face also went red.
"No.. I.. Um.. I'm s.s..orry to ask such a w.w..weird quetton... Aahh.."
Looks like she bit her tongue.
"Are you okay?" I asked her while Yuko got up and brought some water.
She nodded to my question with tears building up in the corners of her eyes. She took the glass Yuko brought in both hands and drank the water in mouthfuls. This inadvertently brought a smile to my face. I understood why the guys in our school called her Ms Sweet Pumpkin. She was just so....cute!
"I think we should go now" Yuko butted in, "the third period is about to start."
"Oh right." I quickly got up, "thank you Ms Pumpkin.. I mean.. Ms Patisa."
She looked like wanted to say something but held back, probably due to her tongue still hurting and just waved at me with a smiley face(and teary eyes).
(I wish my sister had been more like her. Haaaah...)
*trin* *trin* *trin*
Just then the bell rang and we hurried back to the classroom.
