《SC to MC》Chap 10: My Love finally blossoms!?

I reached class and peaked inside. Thankfully, our teacher hadn't come yet. I quickly entered and my eyes met Pauli's. I quickly averted my eyes, not being able to look at her. I made way to my desk, desperately trying to keep my gaze to the front and as soon as I reached my desk, I slumped over and wrapped my hands around my head. But I could still feel Pauli's gaze on me.
I looked up and our eyes met again, but this time I didn't look away. More like, I couldn't.. look away. She had gotten up from her desk and was headed straight towards me. My heart felt burdened and it beat faster with each step she took. I could feel myself being crushed under her overwhelming presence. And when she reached me, everyone froze. Everything froze. Like heaven and earth themselves were just waiting for her to continue. I was still looking at her, in her eyes, between those long black eyelashes, beside that slender nose, beneath those thin eyebrows and into those deep brown pupils. I could feel myself losing. The burden was gone. The overwhelming presence was gone. What was left was a wonderful specimen of nature's beauty. I felt a sudden urge, none like ever before, to grasp it. The urge to possess. The urge to obtain. To dominate. To never let go. In that moment, I knew if I didn't act, it would be too late. I got up, still staring in her eyes. For the first time, by mind felt clear, clearer than snow. I knew what was to be done. My body moved by itself. My legs trying to get me closer to her. My hands trying to get her in an embrace. My eyes trying to burn this moment in my memory. And when our faces were close enough for me to hear her breathing, it happened. A slight touch. I could feel her soft lips on mine. The touch grew intense. Our tongues intertwined and my mind went blank. But it only lasted for a moment. Our lips separated and I could see a red glow on her face. Her breathing was ragged and eyes half closed. I lost into temptation, closed my eyes and initiated the second time. Just then, I heard a voice........

"Rota.. Rota.. Are you alright?"
............and my delusions came to an end.
I noticed I was still sitting on my chair and it was Pauli who had said that. She was standing right in front of me looking at me.
"I tried calling you a few times but you were just looking at me in a daze." She explained realising that I was back to my senses.
And I finally understood the situation.
(What the hell was I dreaming about right in the middle of class!?)
I could feel my face getting hot. I had the urge to run away again but this time I controlled myself. I knew I couldn't afford to make the same mistake twice.
(This is my chance to apologise!)
I gathered my courage and stood up. I thrust my head forward in apology....
*bang*
...and my head crashed into Pauli"s. She probably bowed at the same time as me.
"Ow ow ow ow."
I held my head in pain and felt my vision distorting. Finally, everything went black, YET AGAIN!

Right as Rage
Only 15 years have passed since the miscreant god, Villi, stole magic from the gods and gave it to mortals. In response the mortals seem to be doing their best to squander this gift. The Kingdom of Abrune regulates it, the church of the Sacred Hierarchies outright condemns it, but one 'wildman' from across the sea begins his journey after being cursed by it. Vakdragnar's curse manifests when he loses his temper. It has driven everyone he’s ever cared about away from him. Out of options and money, he travels to the city of Tirough and quickly finds himself on the wrong side of the law. He is persecuted despite his intentions to do good. How can you stand against evil if everyone you’re trying to protect thinks you’re the villain? And if this curse is truly a part of him now, what if they’re right? **************************************************************************************************** Right as Rage is a story I’ve been excited to write for some time now. I hope everyone is as excited to read it. This story is going to be told over several arcs, with each arc containing 7-12 chapters, and an interlude or two each. I plan on submitting new chapters once a week on Tuesday evenings.

Fantasy World
Spencer Underwood has little realistic hope of escaping his paraplegic, bullied, and friendless high school existence. At least until he and three classmates are unrealistically transported to Nibiru, a legendary fantasy world ruled by mythological gods and inhabited by strange races and nightmarish monsters. Spence can walk again, which is good considering he will have to use his online fantasy role-playing game experience to lead the dysfunctional party on the gods’ quest and summon the courage to finally stand up to Trey, his worst bully from school. Success means survival and earning respect and acceptance, especially from Morgan, his attractive but snarky Goth classmate. But Spence discovers Nibiru is more a world of science fiction than fantasy, and they are just unwitting pawns in a deadly scheme of the gods. If completing the quest doesn’t result in their return to Earth, the party may have to do the unthinkable and challenge the gods themselves. (The novel is complete at 56 chapters, so feel free to jump in without fear of it fizzling out in a premature demise.)

The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
