Jonah stood at the head of the group that was all situated in the classroom.

Everyone of the Newbies were intimidated by Jonah but the five that were originally with us, alongside three others stepped forward, one of them being the guy who kept saying everything was a hoax.

"I see, then I will let you prepare yourself" Jonah said and starts to get his gear together.

Jack turns to the guy who kept on saying everything was a hoax, "Change of heart?" Jack asked with a grin and the guy turns his head. "I just want to live, sticking with you guys is the best thing I can do"

Jack laughs and he said to the guy "We all want to live, but to do that we need to resolve ourselves, Sacrifice for the team, I was willing to die to protect the members but what about you? Can you do it? "

"I am unsure of myself. I want to live and I'm not ready to give for the team, Though I know I can do it in the future.

Jack got up and brushed himself off, he checked his energy reserves and calculated how long he could last.

"1 minute till we start" Jonah called out.

Jack turned to look at the guy who was prepared to face the challenge.

"I didn't catch your name" Jack said and the guy spoke "Names Spencer"

Jonah quieted everyone down and spoke a word "Arachne"

The room grew red and the terrain had changed.

The classroom was now a wide open cavern made of wood. Silk and string was everywhere and corpses were strung on the makeshift webs.

In the center of the cavern was a girl in a uniform.

She had long black hair covering her face but revealing her mouth. The uniform was auburn in color and the skirt was plaid with green.

The girl smiles and from her back came eight spider legs. the body became limp and she rose into the ceiling.

Emily motioned and her four spheres charged into the darkness.

Smitt and Jack went on guard. Jack released his spirit essence and scanned the area. A bad premonition and he shieled his sides and a spider leg was stopped for only a moment but kept on going, Luckily Smitt came over and shielded him otherwise Jack felt as though he would have been skewered.

One of the newbies evaded a leg but another leg impaled him, soon after the legs retracted and started to skin the guy alive. Bits and pieces of him started to drop from the ceiling in which she laid.

Emily propped up her gun and fired a bullet, the Gauss sniper bullet disappeared in the darkness but wailing was heard and the girl dropped down again, the legs thrashing about madly.

Smitt and Jack did their best to protect the members but alas Orianna was chopped to pieces.

Jonah injected a vial into his arms and his body grew, two stalks appeared on his head, his arms bulged and Jonah punched one of the legs snapping it cleanly in two. "Jack launch it" Jonah yelled and Jack was caught off guard, the leg was flying at him and Jack deflected it, sending it flying into the darkness.

The Flesh Splitter wailed as another one of its legs was disabled.

Jack was surprised at what he just did but in a flash Smitt appeared before Jack, deflecting a leg.

"Jack focus, we can't afford another casualty" Danny said and he fired another shot at the girl.

The girl had abandoned attacking and went on the defensive. She disappeared into the darkness and down from the ceiling came bodies. Puppets of flesh stitched by webs and silk.

The puppets fell to the floor and then took a bit to get up, Jack and the team attempted to strike the puppets while they were down but one puppet escaped their attention and awoken.

This puppet was extremely agile, it dashed forward and slashed Manny in the stomache, his intenstines spilling to the ground. It attempted to do the same thing but Smitt blocked them.

The puppet was a problem and more puppets were dropping, if left alone they could decimate the team, if taken out then the puppets already activated may back-stab them.

The situation was growing more desperate. The puppets were left unchallenged and another newbie died.

"Smitt, launch me" Jonah called out and Smitt crouched down to the ground and Jonah stood on top, Smitt jumped up, at and Jonah jumped into the darkness.

A painful wail resonated inside the cavern and the puppets fell down not moving.

The 5th Mystery : The Flesh Splitter of Class 8 has been solved. Through Battle. All participating members will receive 300 Points and a Rank D Reward.

Possible Outcomes:

Solving the Puzzle through brains: 1000 Points and Rank C reward,

Solving the Puzzle through Battle: 300 Points and a ranked D reward.

Outlasting the puzzle till the 7th Mystery is complete: 2000 Points and 2 rank C rewards.

Everyone was panting, the loss of Orianna and the two nameless newbies was a shock to everyone, and all they got were 300 points and a rank D reward.

Manny laid on the ground groaning. Abigail was busy healing him with her powers but the progress was slow.

Jonah gathered everyone present and had a meeting.

"We need a report, who can still fight" Jonah asked

Danny spoke up first" I got a few mags left, I need to conserve ammo."

"One of my drones was destroyed, another is scratched and wonky but still useable, looking good on ammo" Emily said.

"Tired but still good, can hold out a little longer" Jack replied.

"Alright" Smitt replied.

As for the newbies Luke, Correy, Mariah and Spencer were out of breathe. Spencer and Correy were wheezing, trying to get air into their lungs. Mariah was calm and collected but winded. Luke was giving a dazzling smile and doesn't appear tired at all.

Jonah assessed the team and pointed at Luke, Jack, Smitt and Emily. "You all shall take a rest, as for the people I pointed to, we shall clear the next mystery. "Luke, Smitt and Jack, I trust you can handle the beast in the fields. Key word is "Lycaon" Em you'r with me for the Room in the Lockers, we got a few choices to make"

The group gave a sign of understanding and they left in their separate ways. Emily came over to Jacks group "When I ran off, my Shenfields were able to scout out most of this part of the school, Everything that belongs to class 7 is nearby, as for the other classes they are located further and deeper into the school" There is a way to get to the outside track field which belongs to Class 7 and that is to go past the cafeteria, you basically have to follow this map if the route is open" Emily said and gave Jack a rougly sketched map, it only showed a path but no entrances or openings. with squares to mark rooms.

"Thanks Emily, If this helps us get to God's Dimension faster I might have to give you something in return." Jack said and Emily immediately spoke up "I don't need anything from you, now get lost."

With that she turned around and bounded toward Jonah, and they both left at a quick pace with Shenfields being deployed.

"Ready to go?" Luke asked and Smitt and Jack nodded their heads.

"Right lets do this" Luke cried out and he took the map and went down the hallway. Jack and Smitt following closely behind them.
