《Project Felia》Volume 2 Chapter 18 - Vote Versus Vote

“Kya!” The root went straight through my stomach and I was dangling over him, my health dropped to 25% and it was decreasing quickly as I lost a lot of blood. Fire Fist was just as badly injured like me, if I didn’t do anything my health would deplete quicker then his and i would lose! What to do?!
“This game is over!”
Fire Fist was smiling, I didn’t have much time, I desperately tried to cut the root but it was too thick, I coughed up blood, I looked over at him as I only had a few seconds on me to figure out a solution.
I took both my daggers and threw them in each of his eyes!
“Aaaa, you piece of shit, I kill you!” His health dropped to zero and I barely won.
I got teleported back and the first thing I did was to take a really deep breath.
The crowed was cheering and the vote section came up
“Lets vote! The person with the most votes will fight against Odin!”
“ You alright?” Odin came up to me, The Deciever was no where to be seen, she probably walked off back to the waiting room.
“I am fine now, but that attack really caught me off guard, I didn’t think he would go to such extreme lengths. “ There was a short break before the voting was finished
“Hope we don’t have to fight each other”
“Yeah same here, I don’t I can hold up to your suicidal way of fighting”
Someone was talking at the top of the arena in the V.I.P section.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“We really need some new recruits! We barley made it today, half our squad was wounded, one fault and half of us got to pay for it”

“Don’t worry, those 3 people left are really powerful, once we got the victor we will be stronger I am sure”
“Enmy, you can’t be serious? By replacing one person? I don’t think that will do muc---?”
“Shut up Kane, we might need to do an exception this time” Enmy slammed his glass of whiskey on the table.
“An exception?” Kane answered puzzled.
Enmy smirked.
“Alright everyone, the votes have come in and the winner is!” The audience was waiting in excitement.
“The winner is….The Deciever!”
“You heard him! Get to your positions!” The Deciever came out from the dark waiting room hallway.
The winner here is the one I will go up against! Odin do your best!
“Roll the dice!”
The big screen slowly stopped on jungle.
“Get ready, 3,2,1! Fight!”
The gate opened and Odin ran out fast, The Deceiver went into stealth mode immediately.
Odin kept his blades drawn and he was ready for everything, The Deceiver had already caught up with Odin and struck him in his back! It didn’t deal too much damage though, Odin turned around quick and almost got in a hit.
They were staring each other down.
“Humph!” Odin rushed towards her swinging his blades, she gradually managed to get some cuts in on him as they were blocking each others attacks, but Odin wasn’t as quick. Odin wasn’t level 6 so none of them had their special attack.
The blade swinging came to an end as Odin jumped back, The Deciever threw some of her throwing stars, but Odin deflected them, he was getting tired.
The Deciever ran deeper into the jungle, Odin followed her, she didn’t manage to get restealth.
Wait? Is she tricking him?
On the big screen we could see that she was gathering some tree veins she attached summoned her clone and give it to her clone, what is she planning?

Odin didn’t see this because of the trees and obscured jungle terrain.
She turned around and headed towards Odin again, but he was waiting for her. Then, with heavenly agility up she caught up to him, blades clinging and sparks flying once again Odin was losing health slowly as she was quicker then him, she managed to kick his leg!
Odin lost his balance and fell on the ground. The Deceiver forced both blades together and was just about to hit him in his stomach but he managed to roll away, but he quickly got up and retaliates with a low charged leap, which caught her off guard!
She lost some health, but it wasn’t a clean hit. She used reappear behind him and struck her daggers down his back forcing him on the ground again. Odin was much more exhausted then her.
The clone jumped in with the tree veins, the original picked them up quick and bounded his legs to each other before he managed to get back up.
His exhaustion with two daggers deep inside his back wasn’t easy to get back from.
She took back her daggers and kicked him in his side, Odin flipped over on his back looking straight at her.
“Think you can toy with me too?” Odin sliced up the tree veins and tried to stab her, but he didn’t quite have the reach while on the ground.
The Deciever was casually walking around him as Odin tried to hit her over and over, but he managed to get back up after a short while, that was what she was waiting for.
“Come!” This was the first time anyone had heard her speak!
“Aaaaarr!” Odin ran towards her trying to hit her, but she casually dodged the hits without even retaliating.
“Ohh what is this?” The announcer noticed that she dropped both her knifes on the ground.
She landed a hit on Odins cheek, didn’t really deal a lot of damage, but it was with her fist! She dodged all the attacks without parrying.
“You bastard!” Odin got angry as he went for another type of strike, but it didn’t work out.
The Deciever flipped backwards and kicked Odin right in his chin while picking up her daggers and stabbing them into his stomach.
That was the end of the match!
Both were teleported away, now it was only me and The Deciever left for the finals!
