It seems like this week seemed to have the trend of work piling up on me lately, so I had to make this chapter with the little amount of time I have. But thanks for waiting I appreciate it.

One more thing before I leave this author's note, this chapter mainly focuses on the side characters, so if you are one of those guys that are all about the main character well...live with it.

I didn't say a word but being greeted by such a beauty was a blessing that had my eyes goggling at her body which is near my age...oh wait!? I forgot about introducing myself! Yes, I am Keith Merinca part of the Merinca knight family that has a bit of territory that is about the size of a small village.

Really, the territory is so small that it gets eclipsed by any other village in the area, and the territory is quite poor in terms of production as we can only make agriculture such things, so we don't have anything worth talking about. I'm also the fifth son of the Knight that lives there, so our ranking is almost at the bottom when it comes to nobility.

Being the fifth son gives me almost no chance of becoming the heir that would inherit the title and the territory that my father owns at the moment. So, we are given a choice of leaving the house as we are extremely low in the nobility ranking system, giving us almost nothing to do.

My 1st and 2nd brother are to stay at the house as the 1st will inherit the land and title while the 2nd is just the replacement in case the potential heir dies. I am glad that it wasn't me, as taking the responsibility of running a small village doesn't sound so pleasant at all.

I would say that my looks are at least decent as I have thick black hair that makes me look completely different from your typical blond or dirty brown hair. Even my parents questioned why I had such a hair but got over it later on but others not so much. My face isn't too rough looking as well, and the skin of mine is clear white with adventure clothes.

For an example, the breastplate and shoulder pieces are covering a normal light brown plain shirt. It's not like being part of a noble family always gives you the benefit of getting money all the time, so I had to make money myself using various methods. One of them has me hunting animals of all kind, such as birds, bear, wolves, deer, and others.

While the other methods use illegal means which is not something that should be done often or else you want to be captured and locked away. I said reminiscing of all the times I almost got captured, well that in the past, as I redirected my attention towards one of the most beautiful girls I saw up to date.

The girl was lying with a white umbrella on the hillside that leads to a lake like a flower that just blossomed in the summer, the light beamed on her blond hair as a bewitching face was astoundingly beautiful to the point of catching some unwanted attention. Her breast size was nothing to write home about but it was at least popping out from her clothes.

The clothes were absolutely gorgeous! I mean the dress in its entirety had the black color that almost showed the darkness with the vermillion red color had made it give out this elusive but gentle vibe I can't explain. A yellow hat covered the top of her blond hair as I tried to call out to her "H-" but my voice cuts off half way.

What am I doing!? She must be a noble or something so what's the point of talking to someone of the higher class than me. I scolded myself as the girl turned around and saw me with just her eyes beautiful green eyes that could easily incapacitate any man that she looks at.

I'm frozen! What should I do?!? The young lady says with her red lips slowly with a smile perking up as it almost seemed to blind me! "Hello." oh no!!! It's too much for me to handle! I said to myself while I stand there not moving an inch from my spot, she looked kind of confused at my awkward stare. I guess, I should say something since it would be rude of me not to say anything.

I scratched the back of my head as I stare at her face and decided to say something "It's n-nice to meet you." I said with my voice a little shaken up but I continue to look at her with my eyes. "What are you doing all the way out here?" I said as I'm also curious why such a cute girl is all the way out here.

I mean, we are near the forest that has been long fought by multiple nations and it's also near B rank in danger. Deep within in the forest are rank B monsters that are capable of shredding adventurers low to high adventures apart. Also, if you don't know our ranking system, it goes like this G, F, E, D, C, B, A, S.

An alphabet system is probably the easiest way to explain this but if we were to get into specifics there are more stuff I can tell you. For now, I don't think right now is the time for such a things so let's get back to thinking about the response. "I'm kinda of lost and just because I'm a cute little girl doesn't mean I can't be here if that is what you are implying."

She said while puffing out her chest in pride at her abilities which I haven't seen at all, and I wonder about that. I mean there are people like that as well, I shouldn't be too surprised at what this world has to offer to me. Like the Witch of Carnage, Yune, who looks just like a little girl but think again, she is one thousand-year-old lady that shouldn't even be called young.

I think she stopped aging and stuck with her childish looks, also don't think I just suddenly met her in some sort of badass ways like a 1 vs 1 or something. She just walked up to me in the middle of me getting some snacks and said: "From now on, you are to follow my orders and give me your snack." And not accepting an invitation by someone like that isn't going to end well...

It was the strangest meeting of my life but I got used to it after a while being under her care, to this day I don't know why she picked up. Anyway, enough about her, what I'm wonder is why this girl is out here but being too nosy is not something I'm interested in.

"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I am Keith Merinca an adventure that is out on a little quest." I said as my composure was kept in a cool setting after the first exchange of words. "Very well, I am Daisy." I looked at her for a little bit and blinked "You don't have a surname?"

Usually, nobles have a surname to identify which house they belong to or else we won't be able to classify which tier of nobility they are. "No, let's just I want to keep that a secret." I'm guessing she just doesn't trust me enough to tell me anything about her, quite a cautious one I guess.

Besides, there is no need to keep my name a secret since I'm just part of a lonely knight family so nothing of real importance. If anything I'm just a no namer in the nobility I would say myself. No real big achievements have been accomplished by me and the only thing that I have actually going for me is the fact that Yune practically gone like 'Hey, you are my bitch now.'

And if I'm found out that I have connections to the Witch of Carnage then I will probably be burnt on a stake or something. People in the Kingdom of Lativna aren't very friendly towards them and especially one of the Witch Empress. Oh yea, witches at least in this world, are sub-human species that are always girls with a large mana pool that is completely different from your normal humans.

They are not like mages at all, they are two different entities that you can't group together. The reason for this big difference is because they have what we call cores which are crystals that contain a soul. If we were talking about the body, then we would be chatting about the fact they are weaker than an average human.

Even Yune the Witch of Carnage, had confirmed it herself with me before when I was introduced into the witch society. Anyway, it would be rude to not talk with this girl a bit "Hey, by any chance do you have a map?" Daisy said with her hands behind her back.

I looked at her and thought about it for a bit since it should be very well known that maps nowadays are expensive. Especially the more detailed ones, is she an new adventure or is she someone that doesn't know this? Now I'm really curious about her identity and her goal inside the Tiberis Forest.

I mean if you think about it, finding a cute girl that looks like a noble inside an B rank forest is quite strange in itself. I said as my brain process the idea, well that's enough thinking and let's just tell her. "My apologies Daisy but I don't have a map but there is one in the village I pass by."

I said as my fingers are pointed towards the way I went just a few minutes ago. Well, the reason for my trip here was to get a certain flower which is the Tankaris flower which is one of the ingredients Yune asked me to grab for her. Yune wouldn't give any support at all! At least give me a map or something! I sigh as that lady loves torturing me more than anything else.

Daisy looked at me for a bit before shrugging her head for a bit and followed me from behind as we went back to the way I came from. "So, Daisy why were you here in the forest anyway?" She looked at me and stared into the sky as Daisy begins to talk "Well, I'm on a little errand, nothing really."

I see, she must be someone capable and was sent on a mission of some sort, but then what's the point of looking at a map? That doesn't make sense unless she just randomly walking around in the forest without no map to help her out. That I can understand a little bit,

I said to myself as we headed towards the village with Daisy following me from behind.

I am Gorna as a goblin that is now serving a master, I have to follow his orders and whatnot to survive out here in the wild. Also, I have to get stronger and repay Gura for what he did for us when we were younglings. I mean what other reason would I become stronger for, it's not like I'm obsessed with him or anything!!!

I'm serious! Why do you guys think I would be into something like kissing and all that stuff! I said to myself as a blush appeared on my face with me positioning myself near some bushes. What master was asking for us were to hunt some animals and other things and then bring the dead bodies to the tree.

He also asked us to hunt some animals to feed ourselves, it's also another way to gain experience. Well, with our new fancy equipment, I think we might just be capable of doing so. That is depending on the monster since this forest is extremely dangerous with camouflage monsters and animals making it very hard to know where the next strike will be coming at.

Master gave me this important information before we started the hunt, so I am much more circumspect of my surroundings. I look around to see if there were any threats and wasn't capable of spotting anything at all. So, I made a hand signal to Goia and ask him if he saw anything.

Ever since we were young, we had teamwork with Gura teaching us all the information needed for us. Sometimes we had to kill each other because if we don't, we won't get food and the grown ups will kill the people themselves. It really was a horrible system they set up but that was something that made us stronger at the cost of each other lives.

Goia pulled up his hand and points towards a couple of bushes and trees near us as I use my eyes to spot what seemed to be a camouflaged green boar. Really, this should be an easy kill since we aren't hunting down the more dangerous animals. There are a lot of different monsters and animals such as the Elemental Bear or anything like that.

Oh yeah, monsters and animals are quite different, in the way that monsters are the ones which absorb more mana which gradually make them stronger. At the risk of becoming more aggressive that is, so they become more dangerous and unpredictable, I found this out when I read about a book stolen from the humans, for some reason I understood it very quickly.

I contemplated to myself before I made an hand signal with my fingers spread out until everyone got into position. I clenched my fingers into a fist which told the archer to aim the bow and shoot it. The aim was to spot on as the arrow had made a direct hit on the head of the boar.

Going into its head, usually, for such thick skin like this, an normal arrow wouldn't be able to pierce it as I had experimented before in the village. But these arrows are made out of a strange material I haven't seen for, it seems almost stronger than your normal stuff.

I said as my hands made a signal for the other goblins to secure the area, with our secret training back in the village, it's an easy task for us to perform. I said as everyone got into position inside the bushes before I walked towards our prey. One of the goblins looked hungry and was about to pounce on the piece of meat but I put my hand in the air which basically told some goblins to hold him back.

I had asked some escorts to protect the food, while another hunting group which I had ordered to find more food was coming towards us. We were still very careful about our surrounding and rechecked the area twice before giving the okay. The other hunting group brought in some animals such as foxes, rabbits, and other animals for us to eat.

Master said that he only need one animal and we could hunt to our hearts content to feed ourselves. Also, the boy that we first saw had started building stuff, he said it was a house for us to live in. I wonder, how will it turn out? I thought to myself before ordering everyone to start moving.

We had moved back to where the tree was and saw the human girls being placed around there. I scratched my head for a bit before putting the boar there and moving my whole group to our base of operation. The place where we set ourselves at was around some trees with a fireplace in the middle.

Everyone sat down and began to chow down on the food, while I sat there maintaining everything and see if all the things were in order. I got up from the ground as my second in commander, Goia looked at me with his eyes, "Where are you going Gorna?"

He is probably the only one that is capable of analyzing my orders to the utmost extent out of everyone here and he also has the most combat experience with how well he does against everyone else. Goia is an probably what some would say a natural prodigy, only second to my skills in leadership and fighting.

He has short black hair that reaches his shoulders unlike his companion with a nice face to go along with that, as a sword fits into his hand. Goia had dark green eyes along with green armor and a green shirt to cover his body. For some reason, he just looks completely different than the rest, who have the hairless and ugly faces. I guess Gura is the same along with his sister Gora as well.

Goia is a sword wielder and has just about triple his training session, at least more than the rest. "I'm just going for a walk, can you keep an eye on everyone and alert me if there are any troubles." I said as my hand is on the handle of a curved knife that has the same forestry green color of the trees and bushes just like the rest of our equipment. I bring along my backpack full of equipment made for ensnaring, killing, and attacking from a range on to my back.

Goia looks at me and turns around before waving his hand and sitting down with the rest. I move across the ground quicker than even a wolf with the camp behind me getting farther and farther away from my eyesight. I looked around as I get into a sitting position, which is the one where your legs go across each, I'm between two large rocks and a bush, a tree we above it as well.

I looked up at the skies, it was quite beautiful with the azure color and clouds floating in the air. I sigh as the thoughts about this sudden change in lifestyle pops in my mind and my new plan on how we are going to survive. My thoughts are suddenly interrupted as a roared had broken the silent night, I get on both of my feet and looked around to see what the hell it was.

I looked around with both of my eyes to see a bear which has multiple scars and a green body that is five times my height, it sniffs around and moves towards the camp fire! My eyes suddenly go wide at the sight of this beast. Damnit! What should I do! Wait! If I can contact master, then maybe he could come up with an idea to kill it.

I try using the mind ability which master had done to chat with me and such things, my eyesight suddenly changes from the forestry area with trees that stretched for days, to another room that looked different from the other one which I talked to him in. What I find is an awkward situation between master and a gorgeous woman that have large breast and twin tail red hair.

She seemed to have a red and green dress that fits with her hair, but she doesn't seem to look so happy. Her green eyes scowl while they stare at master who seemed to be holding up his head and sighs. Maybe this wasn't the best time to just appear....

Master suddenly looks at me with delight as he clears out his throat and stares at me like he found a solution to a problem. "Oh goody! Did you find something Gorna?" He said as the girl still looked at him with those same angry eyes before sighing once again and said: "Master if you are going to keep something secret from someone, do a better job at it and please don't do it again but I don't mind if it was me~."

Master soon awkwardly looks at the twin tail girl before sighing and walking towards my direction as he says "Stop joking around Kona and get back to work, also I didn't take it!" Master says before teleporting us to a much more private room that is almost completely dark but with a soothing green light above a red table.

He invited me to sit down with a cup of tea and some sort of circular snack that I have never seen before. I sit down and ate the circular snack which was an explosion of crunchy and sweet flavor I never ate before. "You like it? Its chocolate chip, something I don't like as much but maybe something that suits you." master said as he drinks a cup of tea when he sat down.

I ate all of it faster than anything I ate before as I even licked my hands just to get what's left of it. I then see master looking at me with a smiling face as I quickly got up and bowed "My apologies master!" he smiled before waving his hand at me "Don't worry about it, just sit down and eat as much as you like."

Now, what was my reason for being here? Oh, yea! I need to warn master! "There is something that needs to be spoken about!" his face gets serious as the eyes seemed to have changed but he keeps his cool smile that seemed to never break. "What seems to be the problem?"

He asked as if it was the most natural thing in the world "One of the 3 Kings of the Forest is approaching us!" Master sudden stares at me with blank eyes as if he just misheard me "What?"
