chapter 1
4:30
4:29
4:28
After watching the countdown for about 32 seconds I snap back to reality. I look around for a potential weapon, and find one, a wooden ruler.
''
wooden rulerdurability 1/10[/td4][td2]Damage 1-3This will probably brake soon
I look around some more for a weapon but finding nothing I start to observe my peers. most of them are staring into space, looking at the countdown most likely, some had the same idea as me to grab a weapon, and a few are really calm and collected. I walk over to one of those people subconsisly checking the countdown 3:42 left.
"You get a message from the too jack"
"Yeah I got a skill earlier and a title, what did you get Johanna"
Johanna is my best friend from back when we lived with the monks. She is about 4'11" and slender with brown eyes and hair. Her strength is her speed whether it's with her fists or her legs.
"Same a skill and a title. I was the second person to get a skill."
"Oh really, I was the first. What skill did you get?"
"I got after being chased by a bunch of Yankees, not telling you the title I got"
"Mine was after watching the class for about... 5 minutes was it? Anyway not telling you the title. By the way did you check your status yet?"
"Status?"
"Think 'status'"
A look of surprise showed on Johanna’s face as I look at the countdown 0:30.
"Only 30 seconds left Johanna, lets meet up in there if we can"
"Yeah, let’s do that"
About 30 seconds latter another message popped up.

I don’t even have time to feel fear as I am teleported into a cave like structure. I look around using on many things but finding nothing of interest. After about a minute I hear a sucking sound and in front of me is a small green thing wearing a loincloth and holding a short sword/dagger. It has the words hobgoblin scout lv 9 HP70 over its head. I use observe on the hobgoblin.
Hobgoblin scoutlike a goblin scout only bigger, stronger, meaner, and generally more powerfulIt sees me, grins, and rushes me with its weapon aimed at my legs. I step aside instinctively and smash its head with the ruler and it breaks.
-1HP
The hobgoblin smirks and attacks my leg.
-10HP
'Damn that hurt'
I kick the scout with my good foot and it goes flying, landing on its back 2 feet away.
-7hp
This time I’m the one who's smirking; if a weapon doesn’t work use my fists. Adapt and over come, the most basic principle drilled into me every day while I was with the monks, still I would rather use a weapon. The hobgoblin jumps back up and lashes out at my uninjured leg. I sidestep out of the way and hit the scout right in the nose with all of my strength.
-20HP critical hit: status effect stun
Still smirking I beat him to the ground till he was hovering at 1hp. then I picked up his weapon and used on it.
[table]short swordDamage: 9-12[/td4][td2]Stats: +1 dex +1 strdescription: a poor quality short sword of hobgoblin make
I laugh inwardly thinking it a good way to finish my first monster off, with his own weapon.
Fatality
Reward for being 3rd to kill a monster calculating.... mana regen boost
Skill obtained: kick them while their down
Skill obtained: unarmed proficiency
For now let’s meditate to regain hit points and stamina
would you like to link mana regen boost and meditate? Yes or no
I think yes as I go into a trance. A minute or so latter I have max hp/mp/sp.

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)

For the Hoard
Ergo the dragon is enjoying his seasonal hibernation when human explorers from another world invade his lair. Sucked into an unknown land, and reduced to a fledgling dragon by the loss of his hoard; Ergo must struggle to survive in a world that has been utterly subjugated by humanity. More importantly, will he ever get to finish his hibernation!? note: while I ticked the boxes for sexual/traumatizing content, I mostly did that to keep my options open. I don't currently have any planned, nor do I expect it to be a significant part of the story. After all, the main character is literally a dragon.

An Adventurer's Journal
The stories of heroes and legends are the stories of the survivors. Few are the would be heroes that take the time to chronical their trials. Simeon is one of those would be heroes, because when you have no deeds to your name and no one to mourn your loss, then you might as well leave behind some evidence that you tried to make a difference.
