*WOOOSH*WOOOSH*BOOM*BOOM*
'Hmm?'
*WOOOSH*WOOOSH*BOOM*BOOM*
"**BZZT*..." a voice calls out.
'What?'
"*BZZT*! Stop f*cking falling asleep and help me!" the voice roared
*Thwak*BANG*
A hard object moves like the wind and hit like a waterfall on my head.
'OW!!!! WHAT THE!?'
Holding my head, i could not help but to think, 'Why does this feel familiar?'
I open my eyes to see an angry old man staring down at me. His entire body is enshroud in a layer of darkness so i couldn't make out his shape clearly but he was clearly holding a stick pointing at me!
He turns around to get something behind him
"Hurry up and help me boy!" He shouted. *BOOM* He slams a stack of three crates right in front of me with a loud bang. "These have to be done by noon. If we could make them on time, then we don't have to worry about money problems for the month!"
"Eh? What am I suppose to make?" I ask the old man.
"Fireworks! What else are we suppose to make? Don't tell me that after you learn how to make fireworks that you no longer have interest!" the old man frowned.
"Of course not! But I-"
"Good! Then hurry up and make two hundred of them just like I taught you!" he walks away humming a merry tune.
*Open*Creak*Shut*
He walks out the front door and shut it tightly.
I really didn't know how to make fireworks. I've only read books on how to make them but never put it to practice.
"Arg... Don't blame me if i mess old man" I grumble as i separate and open each box.
I look back at hands to see that it looks a lot smaller and I was wearing toddler's clothing.

Just then, my vision turned white. When the whiteness cleared up, i saw a bunch of spheres covered in paper. I look to see my hand still moving as another voice in my head rang.
~ Make the container’s shape using desired materials which can range from **** to **** but this time it will be paper. Put the black powder in separate container. Make the stars….~
Is this my voice? How is it that i am able to do this? Why am i able to make fireworks? Also, how am i able to assemble it so fast?
A few minutes later, i could hear some sounds.
*Tap*Tap*Tap*
The foots steps could be heard as a figure entered the area I was in.
"Ah good! You're almost done! I knew you were talented! Ah ha ha ha" It was the old man. The old man was clearly proud that he taught me how to make fireworks. So it seems like he wasn't lying about the part on how to make fireworks then. But what i don't get is, if i knew how to make fireworks, why don't i know how to make fireworks before?
"I'm a little tired *BZZT* can I sleep for a bit now?" i said. But it really didn't feel like me.
"HA HA HA! Go right ahead. I'll deliver these then boy. After all, you've earned your rest." he grin widely .
"Mmmh Okay! Night!" and at that moment, I stretch out my arms and fell right to sleep. I could still hear his voice despite being asleep.
"Cute kid. Now it won't be a waste giving you the *BZZT *BZZT*....." He lay his hand on my head and i gently rubs it for a few moments and then walks away carrying the recently done fireworks in his hands and out the door.

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction.
