Chapter 10, don't feel like saying anything else

-About time you finished getting ready, that was an extra hour longer than you said

Overseer said "I'm sorry but morale has started to drop as the time to act comes near."

'Maybe another peptalk will suffice'

Emperor stood on top of a bench that was being used to set supplies on but now was empty since everyone was packed up and ready. Then he noticed something a bit off, there was someone wearing beginner's garb in the crowd.

'Haha another player, time to make him seethe with jealousy.'

-Everyone listen to me. Today is a day that will go down in history. Some people may say this is just a small scale battle and just a spec passing time. But we will use this chance to be reborn. This isn't the end, it's just the beginning. First we shall destroy this puny wave of monsters, next we'll discover and route the source, then we'll begin to build ourselves into a world power. DO YOU HEAR ME!

The player(or champion as the NPCs call them) started laughing but stopped as the crowd began to cheer loudly.

-Everyone be it villagers or champions shall fight. Young champion what is your name?

"My name is Stagola" said Stagola

'Interesting name'

-Well then Stagola take up a weapon and help us fight.

Stagola tried not to laugh then started making hand motions as a window invisible to Emperor appeared in front of him.

"I accept this quest" responded Stagola

'He actually accepted with that difficulty?! Oh well he'll make for some good fodder'

"Hero when do we set out?" said Tom who was now sober.

-Now of course

Emperor, Stagola, the 3 kids, and the militia set out towards the horde of monsters. Stagola decided to gather info from the villagers and then asked Emperor "So boss,what the hell are we facing here?"

-Wolves, big ones, Their numbers were close to 150 when I saw them, but we should expect even more now. They were waiting to attack so they must've been waiting for more to gather.

"Oh wow, that's impressive, I've heard you've fought against these wolves before." said Stagola smugly

'Is he... trying to raise familiarity with me. Does he honestly believe that I'm an NPC with an appearance like this?'

-Yes well as a champion I expect you to pull your own weight, don't expect me to babysit you

Stagola showed an irritated face thinking 'D*mn my attempts to raise familiarity backfired. Are event NPCs less vulnerable to kissa**ing?'

Soon enough the group tensed up as they were deep in the forest and there was sounds of wolves howling in the distance. All the members cringed with fear debuffs except Emperor.

-The enemy is just ahead, don't falter charge

Leadership increased by 1

Emperor started running and the rest of the group followed. Stagola thought 'This event NPC managed to remove that debuff, maybe he's better than I thought.'

Soon wolves started running towards the group from all directions. The villagers with their high morale from being well equiped and lead by a Hero began to attack the wolves with makeshift spears, glaives, pikes, swords, farming equipment, swords, and a few were just swinging around scrap metal. Stagola was hiding in the center while the group shared exp., allowing him to quickly level and allocate points.

Emperor shouted "Bull Charge" and charge at the enemies in front. His charge hit one of the wolves and killed it despite it not being a crit hit nor did he launch it.

'I'm so OP right now'

Emperor then noticed a wolf fall over near him after a villager cut its leg. It didn't die but there was so many wolves that the villager changed his focus rather than finishing it off. Emperor took advantage of this.

Critical hit, skill leveled up

He crushed the wolf with his body and his weight caused the wolf to hurl blood into the air. A brutal Wolf Blood Fountain sprayed all over his body. He started laughing jovially and then set his sights on his next target.

Leadership increased by 1

'How'd that happen, does it increase automatically in battle?'

Emperor didn't realize that his display of brutality towards the wolves and even laughing on the battlefield made the villagers morale surge. The villagers became more desensitized due to this to and began performing brutal acts themselves as the leader influences the group. Stagola was shocked to see even kids on the battlefield ganging up on one wolf and bludgeoning it to death.

Stagola thought 'This event is amazing, I'm so glad I chose such a remote place and turned on mature content.'

Emperor then began to experiment new moves to try and create new skills since his current skill set was lacking and the villagers seemed fine.

New skill created: Impale

This skill was created after he stabbed a few wolves with the spikes all over him. He started using it to prevent the wolves from pouncing on him and creating a dog pile.

New skill created: Heavy punch

This skill was created after he went into a Bull Charge like stance but punched the enemy instead of headbutting/crashing into them. He hit one of the wolves with this directly on the forehead and it bleed from every hole it had and its eyes popped out. After dissipating the eyes were left over so he scooped them up.

New passive skill created: Goremeister

This skill was created due to him continually using and creating skills that cause gruesome damage to the enemy.

Soon afterwards an especially large growl reverberated throughout the battlefield causing both man and beast to pause. Emperor seemingly belonging to neither group killed one more wolf before a giant wolf came into view.

Seems sorta generic with the Alpha Wolf appearing but trust me I've got some original content coming within five chapters. I'm pumping out chapters so fast because I already decided what to do. Executing it is much harder though plus I add in things along the way that's why it takes so long. Also Stagola the new character is also an intelligent character. Think of him as those crazy b*stards that hack into games just for bragging rights and find ways around in-game filters hence his name. P.S. don't look up Stagola on Google Images, you'll regret it. Don't be a victim of the internet.
