Author - Hello... And as I said in Globus Online I am going to announce a new schedule. One chapter per week (total) and the novel changes each week. (This week is Another World and I'm still Rich!?, next week is my... New novel.)

I slash towards one of the soldiers that is running towards the circle of defenders and make him stop.

I quickly look around and notice the other survivors have created circles and are slowly coming towards us.

But there is only about thirty of us remaining from our little army versus about 78,000 battalions...

We didn't get anywhere close to our goal... We failed.

I see the enemy leader charging forward with a huge shield and a sword.

"General! Enemy Leader!" (Colin)

"I see him!" (General)

The General takes up a defensive stance to block against the charge and hopefully kill the leader.

Another soldier runs towards me and gets in the range of my blade and I slash into his side and kick him away when he gets too close.

An arrow whistles past my ear and straight into one of our soldiers heel making him kneel down.

"Archers!" (Colin)

I see archers aiming at us from the fortification so I quickly take one of the dead bodies near us and use it as a meat shield...

I'm sorry whoever this is but you are already dead and I am not.

I hear arrows whistling towards us and I feel many arrows hitting the body I am using as a shield and one of the arrows hits me through the body.

I drop the body and see a soldier right infront of me.

The soldier stabs me through the stomach and I quickly decapitate him and he falls down with his sword still stuck in my stomach.

I cough some blood while another soldier runs towards me and I hit him away with my sword but I feel myself becoming weaker and weaker.

I don't have enough time to pull out this sword... And it'd be a pretty bad idea to open up a wound because the sword is closing the wound right now...

The enemy leader makes contact with our circle but the General blocks the charge and starts fighting the enemy leader.

"Hold the circle and assist the general as much as possible!" (Xavier)

I kill another soldier after Xavier's words but then I fall down to one knee...

Two soldiers run towards me at the same time and I slash at them but they keep charging in.

When they get to the range of my blade I hit one of them in the stomach but I don't hurt him enough to stop him from moving and the other one is close enough to kill somebody next to me.

I slash once more and this time frighten the other one back a bit.

"Xavier!" (Colin)

Xavier pushes back one of the soldiers and then quickly looks towards me and sees me on one knee with a blade through my stomach and two soldiers running in.

He then hits one of the soldiers from the side and pushes both of them away and then closes the circle making me go inside the circle.

"Sorry Xavier... I just wasn't... Good enough for war..." (Colin)

I fall down to the ground and the blade that was through my stomach gets pushed out due to the tip hitting the ground as I fall backwards.

The last thing I hear before I fell unconcious was somebody shouting that the circle was broken...

When I come to I feel chains on my arms and legs and I feel something like a bed underneath me...

I try to move my hand but somebody stops me.

"Don't move." (???)

I try to open my eyes but lack the strength to do so.

"It seems you are... Awake? Hard to tell with your eyes closed. But what can you expect from somebody who had a blade through their stomach and was on the edge of death when I found him on the battlefield." (???)

I try to move my mouth but still lack the strength.

"Rest." (???)

I fall unconcious again.
