《My Driver can't be This Cute》Ch5 A Day with Alice

After they have finally finished the race in Saudi Arabia, Nekomi is in the base cleaning his car. Then a 959 came into the base, a light flashed and it turned into the girl that he had just met, Alice.
“Hey, are you free right now?” Alice the 959 asks.
“Well yes after I finish cleaning this, I am almost finished, just wait for 5 minut-” Nekomi was then interrupted by Alice.
“No need to use your car.” She then claps her hand and a 959 appears next to her. “Just use mine, also you are the one taking the wheel.”
Nekomi was shocked after hearing this, he can’t believe he is going to try and drive a car that he thought that he could only dream of.
“Hey, stop daydreaming, do you wanna drive or not.” Nekomi finally snaps back into consciousness after being shocked by what she just said.
“Hurry up, we are on a date right now.” Alice continued.
“Wait, what did you just say?” Nekomi is not only shocked, he is also confused as to why she decided to take her out.
Nekomi finally enters the 959 with Alice in the passenger seat. He slowly starts the engine, the sound of the LeMans based flat-6 sends shivers down his spine. “I can’t believe I am actually driving this.” Nekomi thought.
“Well just do your thing.” Alice then said seeing Nekomi being unusually slow to start this car. He slowly drives the Porsche down the mountain road. When driving, he does feel something unique while driving as he usually does, it is a car that he can only see pictures of online and drive in video games, but now he finally drives it. It started as shock and astonishment, then slowly it turned into joy and happiness. It has the same feeling as driving for the first time, a thing that a person dreamt of doing is finally being done.

They slowly went down the mountain and found a grass field near a lake, where they were going to have a picnic.
“So what makes you want to go to the Dakar Rally in Saudi?” Nekomi asked
“Well you know, I used to win races back then. It's just that people do tend to forget about me.” Alice answered.
“Why so?”
“More newer cars have been made that just grab other attention, people always just think the 911 is a really fast German supercar, and with the Carrera GT and the 918 hybrid. Even though I was one of the first to push the boundaries of what was thought possible, my efforts were never acknowledged. I went to the Dakar Rally again just to prove myself of my worthiness. But you know, I have failed myself and been saved by you guys.”
Alice then added, “Nowadays, cars are just prettier than me and faster than ever on track. While I am just a nerdy girl who is just meant for the desert and dirt roads.”
Nekomi then laughed at her expression, “Silly you, you were never forgotten you dummy. Without you the 911s won’t be as advanced as today.”
“Huh?” Alice then slowly looked at Nekomi.
“You’re special, you know, only people who truly know cars will understand what you truly are. Don’t call yourself unpopular, call yourself exclusive. Try taking a modern 911 GT2RS into a dirt road, it just can’t do much, but when you are on a dirt road, you leave everyone in the dust.” Nekomi added. “Compared to other cars, you have done things that no one else can do. And if everyone forgets about you, I will still be here with you.”
Alice shed a tear and slowly pats Nekomi’s head, and gently whispers, “Thank you.”

Mc's not part of the story
WARNING: Early chapters are shitty. Mikael was a graduating student when a global summoning transported him inside a forest full of monsters. Inside this place, he met people that would help him reach his goal: to return back on Earth and meet his family. (note: this is my first novel. If you see any errors just tell me and I'll edit it. English is my second language so expect some mistakes. Please support me if you like the story) (Rate one-star only, since this story deserves it.)

Malheur aux vaincus - Short stories
I am a reader, not a writer. But in the spirit of contributing to the trove of texts present here, I hope to share some short stories that I wrote: two in French in a Roman Fantasy setting ; and the rest in English: one inspired by manichean webnovels, another one... difficult to classify as a fiction, a little flight of fancy about the 'What if?' game, and last even two poems.

The Code of Life - Epic Fantasy/Scifi LitRPG Series
Strange new worlds with monsters and beasts, some to tame, some to slain. Some to make friends of as you realize you're a bigger monster than they could ever be... And you have to move and progress. Learn and survive. Only that can unlock the boxes of secrets and provide answers to the ultimate of riddles. Seemingly randomly selected, thirteen people of diverse backgrounds are given access codes to the MOLI. It offers a strange new experience that looks very seductive and engaging, with stunning graphics and alluring species, just utterly mindblowing and addictive. But, it seems nobody knows what MOLI actually is, a whole new level in VR gaming or an inexplicable transference to another universe with different worlds and their own laws and customs. The experience feels so real it’s difficult to be certain. But they have to find the answers fast because people soon start to die. *** This is not intended to be a typical litRPG series, although it uses a lot of its elements to help create the whole setting. Planning to publish a chapter a day, so be warned of the editing mistakes that are certain to sneak through. Hope to keep on fixing them as I go along.
