Somewhere in forge world two field marshals and one ranger are standing in their assigned position, well, not assigned, they just have nowhere else to stand.
"Hey, Wolloh, why are you here? I mean, your a field Marshall, you should be doing something cool" the stupid orange ranger said.
"Well, juilk. I had my custom colored, ultra ghost destroyed two weeks ago, and now I got to get insurance to pay the debt I'm in!" The totally badass yellow field Marshall said.
"Okay! Don't yell! You sound weird yelling in human language. And aren't you a field marshal? You should be getting paid alot" the dumb ignorant ranger said.
"HaHa! You poor stupid idiot-"
"Hey!"
"silence! As an insanely higher rank I revoke your right to speak"
"You can't do tha-"
"I can! And I just did… nothing else to say? Good"
Juilk slumps down in defeat, knowing he can't say anything back.
"Anyways, if you think the covenant still pays good these days, you're gonna be in a world of disappointment" the zealot says to juilk.
"But-"
"Nope! With those damn spartans being more common Because of that stupid spartan IV program, budgets tight"
"But w-"
"Because of the damn unggoys! We need more cannon fodder so the price of 'food nipples' , what the unggoy call 'em, is rising!"
"... what about-"
"Kig yar are different, they don't breed like unggoy do, so they're cheaper, but the shields they wield are expensive nowadays. I'm happy t'vaoan are cheap"
"... y-"
"Yanme'e… I'm not sure of that situation, I only ever seen one. Though I heard their as rebellious has human teenagers"
With no more questions the two elites return to focusing on… an ocean. Why are they staring at a ocean? Not like it's somewhere popular.
"Why don't you take up those headhunting offers? Those pay well still" the classic red zealot said holding an energy sword.

"Yea, I heard that a headhunter was killed recently… he was a banished headhunter. Potentially stronger then the highest ranking zealot, I'm not willing to face whatever he did" the yellow elite replied.
"Hmm, wouldn't Pay well if their weren't a risk" the red elite says.
The yellow zealot opens his mouth to say something, but before he could speak a phantom Flies into the hanger Bay where they were standing. The three elites back away to make space to drive by.
The back of the phantom opens, and a black, green colored general walks out and approaches the yellow zealot.
"Sangheili wolloh, do you know why I'm here?" The elite says
"OH, hey… …Val? I don't know why you're here… maybe some tea?" The yellow zealot replied
"Spare me the jokes, and don't refer to me so… casually"
"But… I'm a higher rank… if anything you should speak respectful to me"
"Silence! In rank, you are higher, but in your current position… you are not."
"Okay!... I'll give you juilk!"
"Huh?" The black elite says confused.
"What!?" Juilk said in a panic.
"Enough fooling around! Pay your debt to the covenant or you'll be stripped of your rank!... and if i'm lucky, I'll be able to kill you myself." The black general said activating two green ominous energy swords.
"Whoa! whoa! whoa! No need for those… and what do you have against me!?" The yellow zealot sputters out.
"Nothing, I'm simply doing my job… now pay, or-"
"Fine! But I'm absolutely poor right now, all I can give you is my upgraded assigned sword" the yellow elite says while grabbing a deactivated sword on his waist. The elite general snatches the sword and stares at it.
"High grade… this will do. But this barely pays what debt you have."

"Man… that was expensive too. Don't break it" the yellow zealot says distraught
"That would be a waste, would it not?" The general says.
"Definitely would…"
The general walks back into the phantom and the door closes behind him, the phantom thrusters active and Flys out of the hanger, accidentally hitting the wing against the wall.
"Damn it grunt! What do I pay you for!?" An angry voice comes from the phantom.
"Uh… you don't pay me sir…" a high-pitched voice squeaks out.
The phantom corrects itself and continues flying.
"OH, your done for…" the red zealot says
"Crap, he even took out the swords. He Definitely Hate me" the yellow elite replied
"Yea, those sword aren't meant for killing, but they hurt like hell." The red zealot says.
"You got stabbed by one?" The yellow zealot asks.
"Yes…" the zealot said, clenching his chest."But it put me in my place"
"Damn… the hell am I gonna do?" The yellow elite says in agony as he realizes his fate is most likely sealed.

8 255It's not a game
Where am I? This is not my room. What is this place. If you were transported to another world, to be an RPG protagonist. Just another average weak human being, with nothing but ten copper coins and a crappy sword. Could you defeat demons, monsters and giants? I think not. In a world inhabited by all manner of unspeakable evil, by devils of both monster and man. Could you right wrongs and fix a broken world? I think not. When both your fellow man, demons and the very divines that hold reality together conspire to corrupt, extort and rape this world. When they toy with you and laugh in amusement as you dance in their palms. Could you alter fate? I think not. So when this is the thorny path ahead of our protagonists, why would you expect them to be able to? They’re just human after all, teenagers at that. Nevertheless, join me on an epic journey that will alter the course of history and reality itself as our protagonists show you what it really means to be human... in an inhuman world.
8 180A Bloody Game
Eric Hunter, a boy who took a gamble with his life on the line, soon finds out that the pay off took a very different direction that he thought. Having just awoken from a pre-op only to find himself confused and all alone in a changed world and a hospital consumed by chaos he must do all he can to survive. In a new world where society crumbles and laws are merely pretty words on written paper, how will a boy who has been restricted his whole life live now that there is nothing to hold him back? When everything turns into a zero sum game of dog eat dog, they'll find that The Hunter is an all too willing participant, but he will soon find out that he isn't the only player of this game. First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.
8 124Duck Around and Find Out
Flap never wanted to be anything more than a pond duck. He was perfectly happy with his life of mating, migrating, and eating fish. But all that changed when a spacefaring race of war-crazed giant chickens confused him for Earth's greatest gladiator, all on account of a sketchy lease deal from a few million years prior. Now Flap is Earth's Champion, unwittingly wrapped up in a high stakes conflict almost as old as time itself. Armed with a real dumbass of an artificial intelligence, a brain full of pop culture mush, and a hybrid body courtesy of an Academy Award-winning actor, Flap now has all the tools he needs to prevail in the bloody contest. The only question is whether he can learn to use them to save the Galaxy before his implant drives him nuts. Duck Around and Find Out is an absurd adventure across space and pond featuring GameLit elements, more movie and tv references than you can shake a stick at, and a cast of anthropomorphic animals that would make a furry cream their pants. Do you like ducks? And do you like space? Are you also a weirdo? If you answered yes to all three, this just might be the story for you. So if you're brave enough, Duck Around and Find Out.
