Chapter 10: Revenge

Reis’s and Kel’s minds shook. A high creation dao?

In the old legends that gone back to the times where immortals roamed the world, there were tales that spoke of immortals following dao's, that were even higher grade then the highest heavengrade one.

This dao's were not dao's describing a concept of nature, like the other dao's. Their dao's melted together from normal dao's and turned into a single one. Because they were „created“ by a person, they were called creationstage dao's.

This dao's would be incomparable stronger than normal dao's and could be described as unbeatable. But in order to create such a dao, one would have to completely comprehend all the dao's you use as foundation.

Even in the old tales the creationstage dao's would at most be made out of dozens. But a dao that is able to control all the other dao's. It would mean one had to completely comprehend every single dao.

There was a saying that there are more dao's than stars in the sky. It meant that there is an endless amount of dao's, because every dao represents a concept that world is built of.

For one to comprehend every dao and create a dao controlling all the others? It was practically impossible.

A voice woke them up.

„But well it does not matter for you, right? “

A killing intend rose from Zes.

„You are going to suffer and then die, just like the villagers you killed. “

He slowly reached out his hand and touched Kel with the tip of his finger. As he did that the time began to flow again and Kel fell to the ground.

When he fell to the ground, a horrible pain suddenly spread out starting from his forehead. His arms and legs started to spasm as he felt how some force slowly destroyed his nerves.

„How does it feel to lose the control over your body? In a few minutes you are going to have lost the control over your body and in the next hour it will destroy your brain cells. In the end you will be nothing than a hollow body. “

He emotionlessly looked down on the twitching body of Kel.

Kel tried to somehow fight against force that was destroying his nerves, but nothing worked as it slowly destroyed every nerve on its way. After he noticed that nothing would work, he started to think what else he could do.

Fuck. If I'm going to die, I will die. But I swear, I will take him down with me.

He quickly spread out his sense and managed to find a nascentstage cultivator and quietly send him a message.

A few seconds later the force started to destroy his brain cells and he lost consciousness.

Reis looked at the blue clad youth, Zes, her future master.

Not only was he a human cultivator, an immortal of which she thought they would only exist in old legends and tales. He also was an expert on the nascentstage and claimed to have a creationstage dao.

Even though he seems to be pretty carefree and easily loses concentration, he also would take revenge for his kind and cruelly kill those that attack them. Honestly Reis didn't know what to think about this strange human.

„Hmm, seems he is already done for. I should have destroy his nerves a bit slower. That way he would have suffered longer.

Well too late to regret now. Guess I should prepare for the big shots to appear here. “

Reis hesitated and finally pulled herself together.

„M-master, what are we going to do now? And what big shots are you talking about? “

Zes turned around and made a face as if he just remembered about her. Well to say the truth, he really had forgotten about her for a minute.

„Oh, yeah (oh, right, she was still here), your name is Reis right? We are just going to wait for the nascentstage cultivators in the city to come. “

A look of surprise appeared on her face.

„Why should they know that you are here?

„Did you thought, that guy would have let himself die just like that?

I'm quite sure he has contacted someone before he died. And even though he WAS pretty dumb, no one would be so dumb to fight a nascentstage cultivator without being at least at the nascentstage himself.

So I guess, there will come some nascentstage cultivators in the next few minutes. “

As he sad that he calmly sat onto the bed and signaled Reis to sit down next to him.

„But shouldn’t we just run away? Even though I do not doubt master’s combat power, there are 7 nascentstage cultivators in the city. Can you really fight them all? “

Zes just chuckled.
