《A Gun is the Strongest Weapon in a Fantasy World!》Chapter 22

Hisoka gently awoke in his bed next to the softly sleeping Misumi. He softly smiled as she slept peacefully next to him.
He gently left the bed as to not disturb his sleeping partner. She must be tired after the previous day, and previous nights, activities. After unceremoniously strapping on his gear, Hisoka went out of the inn to the tavern for a small breakfast. Despite the early hour, the tavern was open, albeit empty.
He was greeted by a kind-faced waitress and ordered eggs and bread. He found it nice to sit back, relax, and enjoy the simplicity every so often. From the windows of the tavern, he saw the sunrise high in the sky bringing in a new day to the place. The fear and worry from the day prior were replaced by neighbors greeting each other kindly on the way to the fields. It seemed after Hisoka left the battlefield yesterday the villagers burned all the corpses in the pits and disposed of the remaining, leaving only freshly poured dirt the only sign of the slaughter of the day prior. Hisoka found himself softly smiling at the small.
He had gone through a lot so far in this new world he found himself in, yet these soft moments of solitude led his memories back to his days of self-imposed isolation in the real world. He closed his eyes watching the memories flow through his mind and breathed a soft sigh. He left the payment on the table and went outside for a stroll. By stroll, what he was really doing was finding a place of solitude to go over their stockpiles.
He soon found himself under a canopy of leaves in the forest, where he disregarded the scenery in favor of bringing about more munitions. After taking all of the empty magazines and counting their full mags, he knew they were dangerously low on the 6.8x51, with them only having 6 full magazines. Hisoka of course, left the 6 full magazines with Misumi for her protection if need be, with him having full trust in his .45 on his hip. On top of the ammunition expenditure of the rifles, he had emptied 6 mags of his shotgun. He had checked with Aki, who had after using her remaining loose cartridges, 12 full mags. She was the only one with a decent combat load at the moment. Hisoka didn't want to resort to using the 6.8 SPCs again, especially as they were depleted from the first battle. It appeared they would merely have to prepare for a bit before going off to finish this undead army's heart.
Before setting about MP spending, he checked the bracelet. It had skyrocketed from 734 to an astounding 1936. The additional 1200 or so kills would likely be contributed to the auto rifles, M240, and the incineration of the enemy. Due to the increase in kills, Hisoka had a hunch a good portion of those were his, so he checked his stats.

[Resilience] Lv 1 (80/300)

Attribute point available.
"Hot damn," Hisoka said.
Needless to say, he checked out his upgrades.
Modern Weapon Summons Lv. 8
[The ability to summon the necessary ammunition and weapons of a from the user's previous world to the current world.]
Lv. 1: Summon basic equipment and 1 firearm and it's ammunition up to a 5.56 semi-automatic rifle per day
Lv. 2: The ability to summon new magazines or a box of cartridges using MP [Open menu]
Lv. 3: Extention of caliber up to 6.8 SPC. Raise weapon cap to 2 per day.
Lv. 4: Extension of caliber up to 7.62x51 NATO.
Lv. 5: Automatic small arms unlocked
Lv. 6: Access to crew-served Light Machine Guns and General Purpose Machine Guns
Lv. 7: Access to disposable launchers
Lv. 8: Increased weapon cap to 5 per day
Hisoka looked over the gains, and was quite satisfied with the AT sticks and machine guns, they could prove useful in the future.
"Well, I have one point to spend, I should put it into my equipment skill. The last unlock was very useful, albeit a small effect. I am curious as to what it will make available."
Just like that He dropped it into equipment and checked the result. This time it was far more generous than the Lv. 2 upgrade.
Modern Equipment Summons Lv. 3
[The ability to summon necessary tactical gear to form a proper combat load]
Lv. 1: Summon 1x light chest carrier and 1x assault pack
Lv. 2: The ability to summon a Sling for 30 MP
Lv. 3: The ability to summon proper military fatigues and chest carriers at the cost of MP
Hisoka was very happy with those results, he could finally clad the girls in proper combat uniforms, on top of the vests being very good utility items. He briefly had imagined Misumi dressed up sexily in a skimpy combat outfit, but shook such thoughts from his mind.
It would be best to bring it about the new gear as soon as possible, so he checked the cost. With the lack of constraints, he carefully mulled over different options. After a little deliberation, he decided upon Japanese Jieitai Flecktarn syle camouflage fatigues. For the vests, he chose the US Marine IMTV, which conveniently came in the same camouflage due to his wonderous ability. Two rifleman vests configured for the Spear mags, and one marksman vest. Due to limitations in the ability at its current state, they came without plates but had all the necessary pouches and to Hisoka's delight, drop pouches. He knew they would clearly stick out, but at this point, Hisoka was used to it, what with their odd terrifyingly powerful weapons.

The vests cost 15 MP apiece, and the fatigues 10, totaling around 75 out of his 150 MP, but it was a necessary and worthwhile expenditure. Hisoka focussed the remainder of His MP to refill their empty mags. He was able to summon 250 rounds of 6.8x51 to split between the 16 empties. With that, he was able to refill 12 mags, for a total of 18 hot mags; 9 for each of them. He was unsatisfied with their overall lack of ammo and decided it may just be best to wait one more day to fill all the empties and even replenish the 240.
Hisoka was struck with a thought, every weapon he summoned came with 3 magazines free of charge, and he could now summon 5 weapons today. He sported a clever smile as he summoned 3 more MCX Spear rifles, secured them in his bag, and held the 9 glorious fresh mags before him. With this, they regained a stable combat load for the auto rifles. He used one summons to bring upon an M240L, a short-barreled lightened M240 for infantry use. He planned to have it around for portable suppressive though for the moment it's mags were donated to the vehicle-mounted weapon. He carefully opted to save the last one for an emergency or to blow at the end of the day.
He walked back into town with a smile on his face. When he returned to his room Misumi was just waking up. He smiled seeing the sleepy-eyed fox-kin look up at him.
"Good morning Misumi," Hisoka spoke softly.
She returned his smile, "Good morning."
"I got something for you to try," Hisoka said as he brought out a set of fatigues and a rifleman vest. She looked puzzled at the odd clothing before he specified.
"This is a military uniform from where I come, and a vest that will be handy in combat," he said as he finished stacking 12 fresh magazines on the nightstand.
She looked intently at the uniform before looking up at Hisoka.
"Ah, sorry, I'll give you some privacy," Hisoka said and headed for the door.
"You don't have to leave," Misumi said trying to entice him.
Unfortunately for Misumi who was trying to be outgoing, he had guns on his mind rather than sex. Hisoka merely shook his head cluelessly and left leaving her feeling embarrassed.
She got over her dejectedness and went into the hallway to meet Hisoka. He was entranced by her beauty; the uniform perfectly conforming to her curves, her bright hair contrasting with the darker woodland camo, and her pale white skin accented the outfit perfectly. After seeing Misumi's face redden he noticed he was staring and looked away.
"D-does it look good?" Misumi asked anxiously.
Hisoka in response planted a kiss on her cheek and told her, "You're my beautiful little soldier girl."
Her face grew about 3 shades redder after his comment, though her tail happily swayed.
It was then that Aki turned the corner as she walked towards the exit, bumping into the tow of them.
"Good morning Hisoka," she said brightly.
Hisoka smiled and returned the greeting.
"What are you wearing Misumi?" Aki asked looking at the unfamiliar attire.
"It's a military outfit from my homeland. With the outfit is also a vest that has plenty of utility for the shooter. I produced a special vest with your weapon in mind," Hisoka said handing her the getup.
She looked questioningly at it but decided to consider it a gift. She went back to her room and rushed to put it on. She came back to Hisoka and smiled.
Hisoka had an odd look and said," Aki... The vest is on backward."
She blushed at her mistake and quickly fixed it. Hisoka smiled approvingly at how it looked. Once again it conformed perfectly to her height and bust.
"I need to go put mine on quickly," said Hisoka disappearing into his room.
He quickly swapped from his usual outfit to the crisp pristine military fatigues. He replaced his old vest with the far more effective IMTV, slotting his magazines in their correct places. He returned to the hallway with his pistol in its usual leather holster on his hip and a rifle in his arms.
"Right, now let's go back to Zulich and see if there's any trace of this so-called intelligent monster. If it's true that it's real I have no doubts it would merely reform its army for another attempt. We will find it and cut the head off the snake." Hisoka stated confidently. His two companions nodded and they walked out of the inn wearing their new fatigues carrying weapons far more advanced than this world could ever imagine.
