Sigh.... As I was writing this chapter and playing Civilization V my computer crashed as I was half way done with this shit....
But since I appreciate you guys for reading this I decided to write it all over again. Sigh...
Such a pain in the ass....
Without further ado....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 22 continued....
The elves have joined the war.
From behind the ranks I hear our commanders ordering a retreat. I quickly come back into my senses after watching the elves massacre my allies with their graceful movements and deadly magic and retreat with the other soldiers.
I was cut, bruised and battered. I didn't look where I was running and fell over a dead body. I get a close look at the face and I realize that it's Jack.... I puke out whatever is left in my stomach. I begin crying with snot running down my nose and forget about everything around me.
Someone picks me up and throw me over their shoulder and begins running while carrying me. I pass out.
Day 24
I wake up and find myself in a tent with a bunch of other wounded men lying around.
"Ah. About time you woke up."-???
A man who looks about to be in his early 20's who has a face that is borderline handsome and about 5"10.
"Who are you? Where am I? What happened?"-Me
"You're welcome for me saving your life. My name is Caleb and I dragged you here while you were crying like a little brat."-Caleb
"Oh. Thank you very much Caleb. My name is Regis."-Me
"You're welcome. After our generals found out that the elves have joined the Democrats they ordered our retreat and we marched about 10 miles east and set up camp at some hills. You were out for an entire day. Must have been your first battle eh?"-Caleb

"Yeah..."-Me
"About 8,000 soldiers died during the battle before the elves came. 4,000 more died while when they arrived and while we were retreating from them. Luckily for you I was nice enough to bring you your weapons."-Caleb
A robed man who I assume is a healer comes in with another commanding officer.
"Oops. Looks like I gotta go. Catch ya later."- Caleb
The healer inspects my wounds and says to the officer that I should be able to fight in the next battle. He gives me a lower healing potion and goes off to the other wounded men.
Watching the lower healing potion at work was quite fascinating. All of my cuts and bruises faded away and so did the pain. It tasted kind of like lemonade with a bit of lime. Still mentally exhausted I go right back to sleep.
Day 25
I have to report back to my captain that I am fit to fight.
I meet Caleb again next to my captain.
"Lieutenant (LT for short) Caleb, send these documents to the colonel."-captain
'wow Caleb is a lieutenant. I wonder if he is from the military academy or he climbed his way up during the war.'
Caleb notices me and promises to meet up with me again at lunch.
I report back to my captain and just wander around camp until lunch time.
I meet Caleb again at lunch and we eat together. He offers to spar with me so that I have a better chance of surviving in the next battle.
Sparring with Caleb was pretty fun and he turned out to be a pretty nice guy. I learn how to spin my spear and do some fancy tricks with it. He also taught me how to use the dagger I got from the dead guy. It turns out that Caleb is the son of a farmer and joined the army at the beginning of the war and made his way up.
Tired and sore from sparring I head back to my tent and go to sleep.

Prism - Seekers of Solace (A LitRPG Saga)
The Virtual Revolution is in full swing and empty streets dot the landscape, vestiges of a foregone era. Seeking to escape the harshness of the outside world, humanity has turned to VR. And the unlucky few unable to enter this virtual realm must make do however they can.But Prism, the most advanced VRMMORPG, promises to change all that: countless possibilities, no restrictions, and cutting edge tech that allows even those afflicted by VR Sickness to full-dive into its world.Join Ryan and those around him as they try to find a place to call their own within a game that turns out to be so much more. A game that seems to recoil at the players' mere arrival.Author's Note: The story starts out slower, but the pace does pick up eventually. This is a rewrite of my first and only story & I hope to do it justice. The story follows the journey of a group of young men and women as they begin playing Prism. Fair warning, once we move past the initial arc, there will be POV changes as I move from one party member to another or, occasionally, to the viewpoint of some minor characters.Any feedback or suggestions that you might have are more than welcome!Release Schedule: New chapter every Sunday.Cover Art by: Tsuu ([email protected])Prism's Discord Server.

Rise
20 years have passed since the Chaos Energy Quake rippled through the Milky Way Galaxy. During the year-long Quake, Chaos Energy became unusable, rendering much of the galaxy’s technology useless, and preventing Chaotics – beings who possess supernatural abilities – from using their powers. The galaxy has since moved on from the Quake, but to this day no one knows what could have caused it. The only broadly possible hints lie with the woefully few Chaotics born during the Quake, such as the seven Chaotics born on the world of Nimalia, homeworld of the Nimalian Territories. The other galactic civilizations see little correlation between the Quake and those born during it, but now that the seven have reached the age of 20, some Nimalians think they may be able to finally learn exactly what caused the galactic disruption two decades ago…

World Revisit
Having no collection of her past, a confused young girl ends up in world unknown to her. A world with the nature as their source of life and magic, but at the same time also the cause of their despair and sorrow. The world seems to be facing a dangerous calamity. Being treated as an intruder, she will have to gain the trust of the people around her and find a way to live through this mess. With not much hope left, what can be done to prevent it? Nobody knows for sure, but a battle of life and death is bound to come. NOTE: Consider this story as the first version. I want to keep working on it so that the story can actually finish at one point for future development. I want to eventually make it a webtoon comic, but the story still needs to be written and the art still needs be improved. So I'll keep writing for now, but expect the final result to be much better than the story now. Until then, I hope we can have a great time together with this writing experiment. Thanks!
