Chapter 27: Further Flashback (Ned And The Shadow Hunters, Meeting Rose)

Twenty years before meeting Rose, Ned was with The Shadow Hunters, They were on a trail after The Shadow King, back then they called him 'The undead', but that name was not fitting in the end since it is not undead, it is more like a shadow.

Ned, back then the leader of the group commanded his fellow men and woman against the Shadows and The Shadow King, Their group back then consisted of about ten, four women, six men, one of those being Ned, Jack, Vanessa, Maria, Jessica, Rianna, Jaxson, Dale, Grey and of course Scout, yes scout was his actual name.

Sadly many of them have died, as the group fell apart Ned Decided to move away, as he took all the blame for their deaths, he left a letter explaining why he left, and that he gives his leading role to Jack, who always wanted to be the leader, but was loyal to him since day one.

Ned left toward a town nearby, the town with a huge guildhall, and a population of around two hundred, the walls were high, and the gate was protected by guards, at least twenty of them, it felt safe to live there.

Working in the inn there for years after leaving The Shadow Hunters, he heard nothing of The Shadow King, while he kept trying to be up to date with the news about The Shadows.

Years went by as he met a young lady around his age, her name was Rose, it was like a romance book, they met at the inn as he was working there, they talked a few times, every time she came back to the inn they would talk more and more, after his work they would watch the stars, within a few years after that they were quickly married, Rose joined the inn staff, as they worked there for a few years together, after that, they bought the farm, and shortly after that I was born, and that is how this story begins, at least the story of I.

My father back in The Shadow Hunters was feared by the Shadows and The Shadow King as they were not that strong yet.

But not anymore.
