["Akira...close your eyes.", Kana said as she looked at him with dead eyes.]

["Your child's a murderer.", an unknown man's voice was heard.]

["DADDDDDYYY!!!", a child's voice was also heard.]

["I'm sure you'll become an amazing hero-", a middle aged man with similar features as Akira and wore a brown long sleeve shirt, told him with a smile.]

["...Ra-chan."]

"...kawa Akira-kun.

Hey.

Wake up."

"D-dad...?

...Just let me sleep five more minutes."

"I'm not your dad."

"...huh?"

Akira was slightly half asleep as he heard that man's voice.

"Who is...?"

"*cough cough*"

As Akira opened his eyes, he finally noticed who it was who called him.

"Eh?"

Akira was sleeping in his room half naked as a tall white haired, red eyed, handsome middle aged man stood there staring at him.

His window was open as rain poured outside.

"WHAT THE FUCK...?"

Akira couldn't help but stumble down from his bed as he saw that man stand over there in his room.

"Damn jeezer? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE...?"

"I came here to pick you up."

"WHAT-"

'Oh...right...about what we talked about yesterday, huh?'

Akira then reminisced the stuff that happened yesterday...

"Ishikawa-san! Don't talk to X-tinct-sama like that! He's the top savior, you know!"

"Tch- whatever."

Akira was standing in front of X-tinct and Strategiser.

A villain suddenly attacked Akira when suddenly X-tinct came running to save him.

"Tomorrow, me and Strategiser will be patrolling around town looking for villains. You will act as my support and help me defend against them."

"What's in it for me?"

"Ishikawa-san! Mind your-"

"Strategiser."

X-tinct suddenly pulled his hand in front of Strategiser to stop her from telling Akira off.

"Let me talk to him."

Strategiser, looked at X-tinct, then nodded with a serious expression.

"I heard about your exploits during the tag competition that was held a few days ago."

"What about it? I lost, didn't I? I got tagged. You trying to rub the wound?"

'No matter how strong he is and even if he just saved me... I don't just want to become some guy's lackey.'

"You intentionally let yourself get tagged that day."

Strategiser showed a bit of shock as she heard this.

"What?

...What does he mean? What did you just do, Ishikawa-san?"

"You... Don't tell me..."

"I watched it. How you were the one who defeated the villain and not the sixth year I met with."

Strategiser's eyes widen as she heard this.

X-tinct just stood there with a serious expression on his face.

Akira then started to look annoyed.

"You...FUCKER!"

Akira quickly grabbed X-tinct by the collar even though he's taller than him.

"ISHIKAWA-SAN!-"

"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU HELP THEN...!?"

Strategiser was planning to stop him but she hesitated, after hearing Akira's words.

"NOT JUST ME! IF I DIED THERE, THE SENPAI, AND LOVE GIRL... THEY MIGHT HAVE FUCKING DIED!"

Akira seemed to be enraged as he screamed at X-tinct.

"YOU'RE THE TOP SAVIOR, BUT YOU DIDN'T EVEN DO YOUR GODDAMN JOB...!"

X-tinct kept a straight face while looking at Akira.

"You won against the villain. That's all that matters."

"THAT'S NOT THE FUCKING PROBLEM! IF I DIDN'T WIN AGAINST HIM, THEN WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK WOULD HAVE HAPPENED...HUH?"

"It's in our savior's code, to not steal someone else's prey in the battlefield."

"NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THAT! FAME...? ACHIEVEMENTS...? EVEN IF YOU WERE THE ONE WHO DEFEATED THE VILLAIN, I WOULDN'T CARE! WHAT MATTERS IS YOU SAVE-"

"Ra-chan! Is something wrong? Why are you yelling?"

From inside the house, Akiko called on Akira as she approached the front door planning to go outside.

Akira then turned his head to look at the door.

When suddenly...

He realized... that his hands were somehow free from holding X-tinct's collar.

He turned back to the two of them...

...just to see...

That both of them were running away from his house's entrance.

"X-tinct-sama! Wait up!", Strategiser said as she followed extinct.

'What the hell are those two...?'

"Ra-chan?"

Akiko went out of the door to greet Akira while wearing an apron and holding a metal ladle.

"What were you screaming at?"

Akiko asked him.

They already ran pretty far away when Akiko went out of the house.

"It's nothing."

Akira said with a tired and slightly annoyed expression.

"You're weird, Ra-chan."

"Whatever."

"By the way...", Akiko then looked at Akira with a serious expression.

"What is it?"

"RAAAA-CCHHHAAANNN!"

"I SAID DON'T KEEP TRYING TO GLOMP ME EVERYTIME!"]

"I never said I was going. And I still haven't forgiven you for leaving us to ruin when you could've easily defeated that villain yourself.", Akira said with an expression of distaste.

X-tinct just looked at Akira without saying anything.

"W-what?"

"X-tinct-sama. I have come."

Suddenly, Strategiser came in through the window wearing a white polo, a black office skirt and a thick yellow raincoat and carried a briefcase.

"What's going on? Are you guys trying to bribe me or something?"

'Of course I won't forgive him no matter how much he pays me, but I would gladly act as his lackey if he offers me something like... a million yen.'

"Here."

Strategiser, walked up to Akira and opened the briefcase in front of him.

'N-No way... Is it really a million-'

Unlike what Akira thought though... There wasn't any money in the briefcase...

What's inside it was...

"W-WHAT THE FUCK...!? HOW DID YOU GUYS GET THIS...?", Akira exclaimed with shock.

"We hired investigators, scouts and witnesses, and learned about your movements for the past few months...and as it turns out...", she then showed him a disappointed look.

"You seem to be quite the sleazy playboy, Ishikawa-san."

Inside the briefcase were pictures of Akira with a few of his female classmates.

One was when Ai whispered at Akira's ear while he was giving her a piggyback ride during the tag competition.

Another one was when Akira pushed down Chiyo during the hamster chasing activity.

Another was when Megumi went to Akira's place and sat on his lap while smiling and touching his cheek.

And the last one was a pic of Koka hugging Akira from behind in the bath while they wore nothing but a towel.

'T-these photos... they make me look like some sort of philanderer. How the hell did they get these...?'

"Y-you guys! Were you stalking your own students? You shady bun-"

*Smack!*

Strategiser then closed the briefcase and smacked Akira's head with it.

"Mind your manners, Ishikawa-san. Truthfully, I'd be a little more concerned about how you seem to have close relationships with more than one female classmate of yours.", Strategiser looked at him with disgust.

"I-I don't have that sort of relationship with any of them!", Akira said trying to defend himself.

"Not only do these pictures disprove that statement, a few witnesses also told us about what you did with some of the girls as well. So there's no point trying to deny it."

"...What? I didn't do anything weird, I swear."

Strategiser pushed her glasses up and with a serious expression told Akira:

"Witness number one: "Akira Ishikawa made my daughter really wet after she gave away her clothing to him"."

"Wait! That was just because she ran in the rain and gave me her cardigan."

"Witness number two: this girl embraced him romantically and he gave her something big and hard."

"That was just during the group battles! She just saved me and I just lent her my shield!"

"Witness number three: You forcefully mounted on top of a girl and grabbed her collar."

"W-well, I did...but there's a reason for-"

"Ishikawa-san. As much as I hate people like you, and as much as I want to tell all your girlfriends here how scummy you are for five timing them-"

"Five timing? ...but there's only four of them!"

"So you didn't deny your relationships with them, huh?"

"No! I mean they-"

Strategiser opened the briefcase again showing those pictures.

"If you act as X-tinct-sama's support for the day. We might keep a blind eye from these pictures."

"Are you guys blackmailing me?"

"You can call it that...except we're doing it to scum like you so I don't think we'll have a dirty conscience doing this."

'Dammit.'

"Okay, whatever...

...Just tell me what I need to do."

It was raining heavily as Akira, Strategiser and X-tinct were walking in what seems to be a residential area.

Akira was wearing a blue tracksuit and a yellow raincoat on top.

Walking beside him was Strategiser who was also wearing a raincoat on top of her suit.

X-tinct just wore the furcoat he was wearing above his head as they walked through the area.

"I don't think villains would even come out with this weather.", complained Akira.

"HEEELLPP!", suddenly a child's scream was heard.

'...oh.'

X-tinct suddenly looked serious and his feet glowed white.

'What is he-'

*PWWWWOOOOSSHHH*

X-tinct then disappeared in a blink of an eye, leaving slightly fading traces of light in his path.

"W-what the hell-"

"Let's follow him!"

Akira was a little shaken seeing this scene happen in front of him while Strategiser remained calm.

They then ran to follow X-tinct's pace.

'Is it another villain? If it was, this would make it the third time. What's with this sudden increase of villainy incidents recently anyways?'

Akira then fired himself up.

'Whoever they are, I'm gonna give them all I got.'

Green glowing branch lines suddenly appeared on Akira's forearms as he slowly casted a shield on them.

...but when they reached the area...

"Thank you, weirdly dressed mister!"

'Huh?'

Akira's eyes showed a confused incredulous expression as he saw what was happening.

"No worries."

X-tinct was patting a small kid's head as she carried an umbrella on her right hand and a teddy bear in her left arm.

A dog was walking away from them looking a bit droopy.

"Where's the villain?", Akira asked Strategiser.

"From the looks of it, the dog stole the teddy bear from the child. Good thing, X-tinct came and retrieved it for her."

"Huh?"

X-tinct waved the girl goodbye as he walked back to Akira and Strategiser.

"Ok, let's look for others."

"What?"

"My umbrella's flying away!"

X-tinct immediately jumped and caught the umbrella and gave it back to the old man.

"Thank you, kind sir!"

"What the...?"

"I'm gonna trip!"

"He caught the woman!"

"Thank you, sir."

"Wait...this isn't..."

"It's hard to cross the road!"

"He helped the old lady!"

"Thank you, kind mister."

"This isn't-"

"Arf!"

"He gave the abandoned puppies an extra umbrella!"

X-tinct was continuously helping out citizens with their normal rainy day lives as Strategiser kept proudly announcing X-tinct's efforts.

'Isn't this just basically...?'

Akira watched X-tinct as he helped a cat that was stuck on a tree down and gave it to a little boy with a small umbrella.

"Thank you, big mister!"

X-tinct nodded at the kid as to acknowledge this gratitude.

"Seems like we've done a lot. We should take a rest and eat somewhere.", Strategiser said to X-tinct and Akira, as X-tinct walked closer to the two.

X-tinct just nodded again and walked to the other direction as if telling them that that's the direction of the place they were gonna eat in.

"Let's go.", Strategiser said as she followed X-tinct.

Akira had a tired expression on his face, and slouched down as he started following them.

"Haaaaah.", Akira sighed with a tired expression.

"What's wrong? We didn't do anything too hard today. You seem tired. You won't be a great support if you act like that.", Strategiser told him.

Akira then turned his eyes to X-tinct.

"What exhausted me was the excessive running we needed to do to do a couple of small deeds for random people.", Akira complained.

"What's with that anyways? Aren't we supposed to be fighting villains? If this is all we had to do, then you didn't need my help in the first place.", he continued.

Strategiser looked at him with a serious face as X-tinct kept that straight face pointed at Akira.

"Just as you said, we saviors don't just do it for fame and achievements. Doing those little things might not seem much, but to some people, it might just make their whole day."

X-tinct then crossed his arms and continued:

"A true savior, or support...wouldn't wish for a villain to appear in any circumstances."

Akira felt a little bashful, realizing he basically wanted a villainy to occur just to be in the battlefield.

He then took a sip of his iced tea and continued eating his meal.

X-tinct and Strategiser sat together as Akira sat in front of them.

They were in a slightly expensive looking japanese family restaurant as they ate their meals.

Their raincoats were all left in a raincoat hanger that was stood on the entrance of the restaurant.

Strategiser seemed to have finished her meal already and had only her warm tea left.

Akira had lots of meals in line.

A glazed black cod, some chirashi sushi, tempura, miso soup and had large scoops of rice on his plate.

On the other hand, X-tinct...

...had a tremendous amount of meals in front of him.

Yakisoba, tofu, katsudon, miso soup, lots of varieties of sushi were placed before him with even triple the amount of Akira's rice.

X-tinct ate his meal quickly, when he suddenly turned his head towards the window...while still eating.

Akira can only look at his meal with an incredulous expression as he ate.

'At least the meal's on them....'

"...You didn't answer my question by the way. Why did you bring me here if you can just do this all on your own?"

X-tinct kept his eyes towards the window and didn't answer Akira.

Out there was a black haired handsome male with brushed up hair being clinged on by a cute young female highschooler who had caramel colored hair with a hairpin on the side.

"Hey-"

X-tinct suddenly curled his eyebrows and quickly, ran outside.

"What the...?"

Akira stood up immediately, took his raincoat and ran to follow him.

Strategiser followed suit.

"I bet we are."

The young male and the girl were flirting with each other and seemed intimate, when suddenly...

"Get your hands off him."

X-tinct quickly went to the couple and told the female with a serious face.

The young man saw X-tinct and felt a little annoyed.

"What's with you, old man?"

"Tch-"

The girl clicked her tongue with a low sound then looked up to the young man he was clinging on with puppy dog eyes.

"Darling, he's scaring me. We should call the police."

The young man turned to the girl, and looked at her puppy dog eyes with a gentle smile.

"Don't worry, I won't let him hurt you."

He then turned back to X-tinct who was glaring at the girl.

"I'm not scared of you, old man. If you're trying to pick a fight, you better pick someone else!", the young man bravely proclaimed.

"X-tinct-sama!"

Akira and Strategiser ran to X-tinct's side just to see that him glaring at a young couple.

"What's going on here, old man?", Akira asked.

"Let go of him.. or else."

X-tinct who showed an threatening glare suddenly charged his ability on his right hand.

'What the fuck is he...?'

"Old man!-"

"Damn it!"

"..."

Suddenly, X-tinct quickly posed his right arm up and pointed it to the girl.

Thin white light blades immediately shot out of his hands and stabbed the girl behind the boy.

She was stabbed on her arm, leg, shoulder and side of the waist.

Her eyes immediately went dead, and she fell down.

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU-"

"Can't believe I would meet the top savior, right fuckin' here."

The girl who was lying on the ground suddenly spoke with a large smirk.

"I might just be fresh out of luck today"

The girl then slowly started to grow large swords for her limbs.

Akira's eyes slowly widened while the young man showed a fearful expression.

People nearby looked at the scene with fear.

"...but I'm still gonna..."

*PPPPPPPSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHWWWWWWWWW*

A large flash of light was shot by X-tinct towards the sky as he pointed to the girl.

"Get him!"

A few more citizens around the area, who looked like normal citizens suddenly ran to X-tinct's direction.

"X-tinct-sama!"

Akira and Strategiser saw the number of people charging at them and prepared themselves.

There were businessmen, highschoolers and delinquents.

"KILL X-TINCT AND THE BOY!"

Gun hands, large blade hands, muscle enhancement, eye laser...

All sorts of abilities were shot at the same time, at the same target by the villains.

"SHIT!"

Suddenly, X-tinct turned back towards Akira and Strategiser and put two of his palms on the side.

"Annihalation Field."

A large transparent, liquid like barrier was then formed by X-tinct around them.

'This...!'

[A swarm of spears was suddenly thrown to Akira.

'SHIT!'

Akira noticed this immediately, and planned to construct a shield on the right moment when...

*SSSHWW!*

A transparent barrier suddenly showed in front of him...as a large man wearing a furcoat showed up while holding his left palm in front of them that created that barrier...]

'This was the ability he used before!'

X-tinct then jumped out of the barrier glowing white, and shot out machine gun like white bullets from his hands.

"GAAAHHH!!"

"AAUUUUUGGHH!!"

"UUUUHHH!!!"

He shot a lot of the villains in a single blow, rendering them unconscious.

"TAKE THIS!"

"SHOOT HIM!"

A couple of villains ran from the other side of the barrier, shot out their abilities on him and lashed out their melee weapons.

"Break."

A strong light emerged from X-tinct.

A large white explosion pushed all the villains off the walls, some were launched to the sky and some just crashed on the ground and made a large crack on them.

In a few seconds, more than 20 villains were defeated by him.

"W-W-WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS...!?"

Akira, who formed a shield on his arms just in case had green glowing branches on him. Strategiser's eyes were glowing purple and X-tinct was glowing white with thick energy nerves all over his body.

In front of this scene, everyone was overwhelmed.

"Just that guy's temporary sidekick.", Akira told the guy with serious eyes and turned his head back to X-tinct.

'There's no denying it. His ability really is way above ours...'

Akira then turned his head towards the direction the girl was standing at earlier.

There was nothing left where she stood.

'Is this really the right thing to do?'

It was already sunset then... when Akira was made to ride with X-tinct and Strategiser back in the car.

The rain stopped earlier and they had disposed of the raincoats they used.

'It's been a long day... Not much really happened if I think about it.'

Akira was seating at the window side on the passenger's seat.

He had his eyes closed, and his arms crossed, with his head tilted to the window waiting for them to drive him back home.

[The girl then slowly started to grow large swords for her limbs.

Akira's eyes slowly widened while the young man showed a fearful expression.

People nearby looked at the scene with fear.

"...but I'm still gonna..."

[Suddenly, X-tinct turned back towards Akira and Strategiser and put two of his palms on the side.

Akira opened the door of the car and walked outside staring at the ground.

He kept his eyes on his foot as if he memorized the look of the ground to his home.

'Huh?'

He then noticed he hit his foot on a door earlier than he thought.

He turned his eyes up to see what was actually in front of him.

"...What? This isn't my home...?"

"Who told you we were driving you back home?", Strategiser said with a mocking tone.

"X-tinct-sama told me since yesterday, and we reserved specific time to make sure no one else would be using it at that time."

Akira's eyes then widened.

"Ishikawa Akira. X-tinct-sama wants to challenge you to a spar."

"WHAT...?"

"GAAAAHHH!"

A bearded delinquent that wore a beanie was suddenly shot out by a strong blow.

In front of the delinquent, was a muscular bald man, who was wearing an undershirt with a robotic mechanism on his chest and large steel gloves on his fists.

"You okay there, sonny, girly?", the man asked Akio and Ana who was behind him.

Akio wore a dark blue polo with a black undershirt with his earphones hanging out.

Behind him was Ana who was wearing a blue one piece dress.

"We're fine. Thanks for helping us."

"No problem."

A few more villains ran in and planned to charge against Akio.

"Tch-"

"NOPE!"

Suddenly, a woman wearing a black mask and a ninja outfit jumped at the villain's head.

*BBBBAAAAMMM*

"AAAUUUUUGGGHHH!!"

The villain's heads smashed on the ground and lost consciousness.

The large muscular guy and the ninja girl then walked up to each other.

"Seen anymore of them?"

"No, we've got most of them covered."

The two started chatting about the villains they fought.

A bunch of people, watching the scene, filmed the event and some had wide eyes seeing this people who had supernatural abilities.

"Uh, sir, ma'am?", Akio went up to the muscular man and the ninja, and called up to them.

"These are villains, right? I've seen some yesterday as well and lots of them started showing up suddenly. Is there something going on that we don't know?", he continued.

"...", they both seem to be hesitant in answering the question.

"...I can't really say much about what's going on behind the scenes, Sonny.", the muscular guy answered.

"Here's a word of advice though-"

Akira stood in front of X-tinct inside what seems to be a rocky area.

Mountains and rocks were all over the place, as Akira and X-tinct stood in a field between them.

"Can you tell me why was it again that made you wanna do this?", Akira asked with an incredulous expression.

X-tinct just kept staring at Akira with a serious expression.

Strategiser stood in a far distance from between them and was the one who's gonna be a referee for the match.

'Damn it. What does this guy want to do with me anyways? Did he hear about how my father was somehow a part of that evil organization that time? Is he planning to get rid of me? I can't just fight someone like him.'

"Prepare yourselves.", announced Strategiser.

Akira started casting green flowing energy on his nerves.

X-tinct just stood there staring at him.

'This is it...'

"Fight!"

Akira then constructed a shield on his hands.

"TAKE THIS!"

He threw the shield to X-tinct and ran to the side.

'If I can distract him and somehow get him all cocky about his moves, I can look for an opening.'

"Futile."

X-tinct's feet immediately glowed white and in just a second...

*PWWWWWOOOOSSHHHH*

He stood right in front of the direction Akira was going.

"I KNEW IT!"

Akira then summoned two shields, on on his left forearm and right forearm, he held it up on his arms and charged at X-tinct.

X-tinct immediately glowed white, as if he's planning to use the white explosion he used before.

"Brea-"

Akira then jumped and slid with his right foot, below X-tinct, in between his legs.

"Don't be so cocky."

A large white light suddenly flashed.

"Heh.", Akira's voice, that was still inside the white light, was heard.

Akira's shield that he threw earlier, then circled around and aimed at X-tinct.

*PWWWHHOOOOSSHHH*

X-tinct's feet suddenly glowed white again as he dodged Akira's shield.

'I knew it wouldn't be too easy."

Akira then stood up from his lying position looking a bit tired.

"How did you know?", asked X-tinct.

"Do you mean about your explosion ability's weakness?", Akira asked with a smirk.

"I figured it out earlier, when you fought those villains. If you wanted to hit enemies, you usually consider not striking down below you, don't you?"

He then pointed his finger below him.

"So, just like a typhoon that has an eye, your ability has weakpoints with it as well. There's no way you can be a completely perfect hero.", Akira's explained.

"Your speed skill can't be used for a certain amount of time after you used it once, your large laser could also damage the people or structures behind it so you can't use it unless there's nothing behind your opponent. Your machine gun ability has a limit of bullets shot.", he continued.

"I realized it all because instead of using one ability, the dull, non-expressive you, wouldn't be act too flashy in the battlefield...

When you fought the villains earlier, instead of using one ability. Like just using your speed skill to beat them up, your machine gun skill to shoot them down or your laser-like ability...

You used a lot in one go."

He then pointed his fist at X-tinct's direction.

"Even if you're way stronger than me, and even if you're the top hero. There's no way I'm just gonna stand here and lose to you."

X-tinct slightly grinned from hearing this then turned up to him again with a serious expression.

"If that's what you believe, then I do so."

Akira then throwed two of his shields on the side and controlled them to strike X-tinct from both directions.

'He's either gonna use that speed ability to move out of the way or use his explosion ability to fend against the shields. If he uses the speed ability, I'll immediately overwhelm him by spawning a shield below him and striking him there. If he uses the explosion, I'll slide down the middle of his legs again and strike him down there as well.'

Akira then made a slight grin.

'Either way, I'm gonna win this.', Akira thought.

The shields were closing in on X-tinct from both his left anf right sides, while Akira constructed another shield on his forearms planning to charge at X-tinct.

'What's it gonna be, old jeezer!'

Just as Akira's shield closed in on X-tinct.

X-tinct suddenly...

...caught the shields Akira launched at him.

'What?'

With his bare hands, he stopped and broke Akira's shields.

X-tinct then suddenly opened his mouth.

'...What is he...?'

He suddenly spit out small glowing white seed towards Akira with a strong force.

'...What the he-'

The seed then made contact with Akira's shield that was connected to his right forearm.

*BOOOOOOOOOMM*

It immediately exploded into a white light.

And the force then pushed away Akira far onto a mountain.

"GGAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"

Akira spat blood as he was striked down by X-tinct's spit.

"Haaah haaah haa-"

"Are you done?"

'Shit!'

X-tinct suddenly stood in front of the injured Akira.

He then touched his middle finger with his thumb and planned to flick at Akira.

Akira's right arm and left eye suddenly glowed green brightly.

The claw gauntlet slowly appeared on Akira's forearms when suddenly...

"Augh!"

X-tinct flicked his fingers on Akira's forehead.

"What was that for...?"

"Why didn't you use that sooner?", asked X-tinct.

Akira stared at his gauntlet as it slowly faded away.

"My energy's not enough to keep it equipped.", Akira replied.

"If I used this from the very start, I would've lost earlier.", he continued.

"That's only because you're doing it all wrong.",

"What do you mean?"

"You've fought me by manipulating three shields with ease. Doesn't it confuse you that one piece of equipment of yours immediately makes a severe backlash on your body?"

"...but I just can't do it. I've kept trying for a while now."

X-tinct walked away from Akira in a small distance and pulled up his palm, aimed at him.

"You-"

Suddenly, a small transparent barrier was casted by X-tinct in front of him.

"Come here.", X-tinct beckoned Akira.

"...Uh...yeah.", Akira replied, feeling a little awkward.

X-tinct slightly lashed out a gust of energy on the barrier, making it slightly glow.

It looked somewhat like a large circular mirror on Akira's perspective.

"Use that ability."

"...It uses too much energy. It won't work."

"Do it."

Akira felt a bit defeated and decided to just listen to X-tinct.

'Keep that image on your mind and-

SHIT OUT THAT ENERGY!'

Akira's arm suddenly glowed green as he saw the claw gauntlet appear.

"Now look at the barrier."

Akira looked at his figure on the barrier, that acted like a mirror.

"...What is it?"

As soon as Akira finished that sentence, the claw faded away.

"Do you just want me to see my pathetic face when I lose control over that thing?"

"You're not using too much energy."

"What?"

"You're using it wrong."

"JUST TELL ME ALREADY!"

As Akira shouted that line, X-tinct suddenly pulled out his hand and pointed it to his right while he kept his eyes on Akira.

"Arms."

His right eye suddenly glowed white as his right arm glowed white as well.

He put up his hand in front of him like he was holding an imaginary apple on it.

His head then turned to Akira.

"I'll be using just this arm to hit you. Come back to the battlefield when you're ready."

X-tinct then turned his back to Akira and walked back to the area they fought in.

"Hey! You haven't told me!"

X-tinct ignored Akira's calls as he walked back to the battlefield.

"What the hell was he trying to tell me?"

Akira reminisced the look he had from the mirror when he spawned his claw.

'I remembered that my claw was a bit different than his. He formed a spiral of energy on his arm just like what he does on his feet, probably to increase it's motor functions... but it's way different than my-'

Akira's eyes then widened as he realized what X-tinct was pointing at to him.

'I'm a fucking moron.'

"Are you sure about continuing this? That boy might still replace him."

"..."

Strategiser had a concerned expression as he looked at X-tinct.

"As much as I love my students, there's a fine line between believing in one student and risking the others' lives. I'm sure you know about your responsibilities as a Savior. I won't be questioning your actions further on, but don't regret them when the time comes."

"He's here."

Strategiser kept her eyes on X-tinct, looked down and walked back to her original position.

"I'm ready."

"Then let's start."

Akira immediately ran at X-tinct.

'Knowing him, the first thing he'll do is-'

*PWWWWOOOOSSSSHHHHH*

X-tinct immediately appeared in front of Akira and targeted his fist towards him.

*BAAAAAAAM*

Akira quickly constructed a shield in front of his forearms... but was still pushed away by the force...

"TTTTTDDDDDD!!!", Akira shouted while struggling against his punch.

As soon as the force halted, Akira ran at X-tinct again.

X-tinct ran at Akira at the same time.

As soon as he closed in on Akira, he aimed his fist on him.

Akira aimed his hand that he shaped as a claw on X-tinct as well.

"RRRAAAAHHHHH!!!!", Akira screamed as green glowing lines appeared on his right forearm.

His claw slowly spawned as he aimed at him.

His left eye suddenly glowed as well, but before it could glow as bright as his forearms.

He closed his left eye.

*SLASH!*

*BBBAAAAAAAAAMMMM*

Akira's claw slightly slashed at X-tinct clothes, although X-tinct's fist blew him away.

X-tinct slightly grinned seeing this happen and stood there waiting for Akira to to stand up.

'Ocular Dominance.

Naturally, a human's eyes, much like our hands, has a dominant side.

When he created those gauntlets, he made them with the full image of a claw gauntlet.

Unlike my ability, where I just basically swirl large amounts of my energy on my arm to increase it's force, his ability requires him to shape an image of an object on his head to create that gauntlet.

The flow of energy and the creation of that image is made by the energy of not only the arms, but of the eyes as well.

Since his dominant eye was the left one, his body was tricked into thinking that he had to use the best possible body part to flow the energy in a consistent and efficient manner.

His right arm was where he spawned that gauntlet, yet his left eye was the source of the image.

He wasn't using too much energy, his body was having trouble using his energy efficiently, and thus exhausted him out easily.'

"I see you realized your mistake."

Akira picked himself up in a slouched posture as X-tinct called up to him.

He cancelled his claw and seemed a bit beaten up but he used his ability to recover himself slightly.

"I figured it out after I noticed I could still heal myself although I felt empty."

"Do you still want to continue or would you like to end it here?"

Akira then put his right hand's index finger up.

"One."

He then showed X-tinct a confident expression although he seems beaten up.

"I'm gonna give you at least one bruise on that pretty face."

X-tinct then grinned slightly.

Akira ran at X-tinct again.

'Keeping one of your eyes closed may seem like an easy task, but in the battlefield, it would give you a great disadvantage. Not only do you have to control your eyelids to keep itself from opening, you'd have a smaller range of sight that will easily give you-'

X-tinct suddenly ran at Akira using his speed ability and showed up at his left side.

'He's done for-'

Suddenly, Akira's left eye, glowed a green light.

'He didn't close his left eye?'

"SHIT OUT THAT ENERGY!"

A green spiky piece of armor that looked like a mask around his left eye, with a transparent piece that served as the lens appeared.

'He made a new piece of equipment in a split-second?'

"HERE'S YOUR PAYBACK, FUCKER!"

Akira immediately formed a claw on his right hand and striked X-tinct.

X-tinct struck his fist on Akira as well.

*BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM*

*SLASHH*

Akira then flew and crashed from his foothold to a mountain.

He laid there, unconscious with bruises all over.

Akira slowly opened his eyes to see bright lights above him.

"...Where am I?"

"At the nearest underground Savior hospital."

"w... -WHAT...!?

Akira suddenly pulled his torso up to a sitting position.

He looked around and saw that he was back in the room he once was put in after the entrance exam.

"What happened?"

"You fell unconscious after our fight."

Akira turned his head towards X-tinct, who had a bandage on his cheek.

He snickered a little.

"Heeeh. So the top hero was scarred by a first year support student, huh?", he said with a teasing expression.

Strategiser looked annoyed at Akira and revealed something to him:

"X-tinct-sama went easy on you."

"What do you mean? If he got wounded like that, then-"

"Remember all those things you said about him using a lot of abilities at once and that his ability has a limit.

You were wrong."

'....

Eh?'

"X-tinct-sama uses a lot of abilities because he thinks it'd boring using just one at once. If you watch some of his savior watch videos, he can even use his quick ability for more than an hour.", she explained.

"If he wanted to, he could've just kept using his 'quick' ability on you."

"Is that-"

'He held back?'

Akira was gonna ask X-tinct, when he suddenly put up his right hand as a peace sign and showed it to Akira.

Akira suddenly withered as he saw that.

'So, I was still just a speck of dust compared to him, huh?'

"You've did a good job today.", Xtinct told Akira.

"You might not be the best support one could ever have, but your quick wits and your careful planning caught me offguard. Not everyday could a first year student deal damage on a professional Savior."

'I didn't actually support you though.'

Akira, hearing this, changed his expression to a confident one.

"Seems like I've got more stuff to brag about."

"Sir."

A middle aged male doctor then came in the room.

"Your bruises aren't too major. We bandaged you up now, if you wish, you can go back to your home today.", he stated.

"Sure, I'm going."

Akira then turned his expression to a serious one.

"You guys are probably about to leave too, aren't you?"

"We are. Do you want a lift."

"...Sure..."

Akira was in the backseat of the car again, at the same place he sat earlier.

X-tinct was in front, just like earlier and Strategiser drove the car.

"We're here."

Akira opened the car door as he exited the car.

He looked at his house, and proceeded to walk towards the door when...

"X-tinct-sama! You don't need to exit the car too!", Strategiser called on X-tinct, who left the car as well.

He walked around the car and stood beside it, staring at Akira.

Akira then turned at him and looked at him with a serious expression.

"Guess, you're finally up to answering my questions, huh?"

"..."

"...Can you first tell me why did you invite me as a support, and why did you teach me how to improve my abilities earlier?", Akira asked.

With the same expression he always shows, he tells Akira:

"The principal told me all about how you were having trouble with your abilities. And since, I heard your father, was somehow involved in this, I knew I couldn't stay put."

Akira heard his words, but showed him a look of doubt as if he didn't believe what he was saying.

"Well, whatever. If you don't want to tell me... Then you don't have to...but before you go... Can I ask you one last question?"

X-tinct hesitated a little then asked him:

"...What is that?"

"...

What do you feel about killing villains?", Akira asked.

X-tinct crossed his arms, and looked down.

He then told Akira:

"Being the top savior... meant that I could deal the most damage than most heroes. With the abilities granted to me, I'm able to take down strong and powerful villains. And while rescuing and helping people is part of a savior's job, I'm more suited to fighting against others than rescuing them."

"...but you can create barriers! That ability of mine was made by me spraying the destruction I do on a smaller field. If an innocent bystander were to touch that field, his finger would dissolve."

Akira wanted to respond, but knew that no words he could say right now will change anything.

"As much as I love protecting those that are important to me, the power gifted to me was a destructive ability, known... as 'Annihilation'. I was able to use it in many different ways, like releasing it on my feet to boost my speed, or shooting smaller portions to prevent any villain's deaths... but once a villain gets serious and you get hindered by the fear that you might hurt other people while giving it your all to save others, you'll then realize how letting them live would just cause more pain to others.", X-tinct explained.

Akira just layed his head low hearing this.

"Many people believe that maybe... 'We could just teach the villains to think like the common people.' Many have tried fixing them, or rehabilitating them, the principal even used her ability to erase the memories of those involved, but most have failed. Those who are made to forget by your principal, can never lose their ideals, their sick thoughts, or their desire to do vile things. The ability that was given to me... was simply to 'destroy'. No matter how much I try to convince others, noone would do it. So for me, the best way to handle villains...

Strategiser and X-tinct were in the car driving to their destination.

"Shouldn't you have 'taken care' of him earlier? We all know you aren't the type of person who'd let loose a high risk person easily."

Strategiser suddenly asked X-tinct breaking the silence.

"I told you I came here to see if we could trust him, and my judgement is that he should be left there to live."

"...but-"

"How long has it been since someone injured me?"

"...ten years."

"Starting from the time I enrolled in Savior University, only one person was able to injure me. After that time... No one, even the sixth year I sparred with, was able to leave even a small scar on my skin."

"It's nothing."

"That steal doesn't explain your judgement. Even if he's powerful, we still know how scummy he is. He even took advantage of a few of his female classmates."

"...Yesterday, remember what he told me?"

Akira quickly grabbed X-tinct by the collar even though he's taller than him.

"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU HELP THEN...!?"

"NOT JUST ME! IF I DIED THERE, THE SENPAI, AND LOVE GIRL... THEY MIGHT HAVE FUCKING DIED!"

Akira seemed to be enraged as he screamed at X-tinct.

"YOU'RE THE TOP SAVIOR, BUT YOU DIDN'T EVEN DO YOUR GODDAMN JOB...!"

X-tinct kept a straight face while looking at Akira.

"You won against the villain. That's all that matters."

"THAT'S NOT THE FUCKING PROBLEM! IF I DIDN'T WIN AGAINST HIM, THEN WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK WOULD HAVE HAPPENED...HUH?"

"It's in our savior's code, to not steal someone else's prey in the battlefield."

"NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THAT! FAME...? ACHIEVEMENTS...? EVEN IF YOU WERE THE ONE WHO DEFEATED THE VILLAIN, I WOULDN'T CARE! WHAT MATTERS IS YOU SAVE-"]

"His words that time... made me realize how much he wanted to save those people."

"What if he just told you that because his own life was at stake."

"...He won against the villain. Let another student take the fame, and showed extreme anger on his face as if he was scared that the other students might have been harmed. It might be that he just feared for his life but..."

Akiko, with slight tears in her eyes, suddenly jumped at Akira trying to glomp him again.

"Mom, I told you to stop trying to hug me!"

"I thought someone hurt you! I was scared Ra-chan! You were suddenly gone without telling me!"

"It was kind of sudden. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

"...Did someone hurt you? Did some strange man try to kidnap you? What happened Ra-chan?"

"Well, a man wearing a furcoat might isn't a sight you see everyday, so a strange man might have actually tried to kidnap me.", Akira jokingly said.

"...A man with a furcoat? Did you meet with Lane-chan?"

"Lane-chan?"

"When me and your...father went to S.U., our bestfriends, Lane and Fumiko, was always there for us. I just remembered yesterday since you brought up the topic about furcoats... Arata... used to be like you too, Ra-chan. He had an intense obsession with chuuni things. He once made Lane wear a furcoat and told him that he looked cool on it. Since then he wore furcoats ever since he became a savior."

"Wait... If you mean Lane, then you don't mean..."

X-tinct, who was in the car, held a locket on his hand.

"Y-you know. There are some other girls out there that really care about you. You don't need to keep thinking about her.", said Strategiser.

X-tinct stared at Strategiser and gently smiled.

"Thanks, Fumiko."

Strategiser or Fumiko, blushed as she heard X-tinct's words.

"...but you know... I think...

It's better this way.", X-tinct replied to Strategiser.

He then opened the locket to show a picture, of a young girl that had similar features with Akira.

At the bottom it says:
