Chapter 12- To the Future! and to Jail!
~ P.O.V. Of Tyor ~
I was amazed at the speed at which we got to our destination, Thistleburn Village, a journey normally taking close to 3 months now was only 7 days. Of course this is all due to the phantom knights that my mater made. Wonderful creatures they are, but don't speak much maybe an occasional 'uuargh' though. When they were first made I was enthralled by their appearance. Then I as handled like a sack thrown over the shoulder of the skinny one and we sprinted off to find Engil. I was forced to watch my blood vines wither away without me. I'll never forget you my babies.
Anyways the first night was spent finding Engil, who we found exhausted and caught in several bear traps. Healing his injuries we planned our route to be a village quite far from the one my master burned to the ground, and the next seven days were a blur. I mean literally a blur we were moving at such a high speed that I started to get sick. We could've made it faster if we carried Engil, but master said it was punishment and so we waited for him to come into camp exhausted from running all day to catch us.
I feel like my responses with my master have a tinge of un servility. I believe it could be the master's blood that flows in me that is changing me not just physically, but mentally too.
We soon arrived at an inn a local pointed out to us. It was a medium sized building kinda run down if you ask me when we went in we were greeted by a well built man who didn't ask for payment and showed us to our rooms. I don't know much about inns or how most things work in a society, but something is fishy about this whole situation.

After settling down I entered master's room and sat down in a chair in front of him. He had his eyes closed concentrating on something. Thinking he's most likely in a conversation with Engil I begin to look around I saw a bed nightstand and a window. A room for my master is not this! Filled with rage about this establishment's audacity to have a room such as this to house my master, the thought of destroying the town comes to mind. As I began to formulate my plan to bring about a mass slaughter my master's eyes open.
-----------------------------------
"Engil has found that two rival kingdoms are about to wage war over some past conflicts. Also he seemed to be withholding a piece of information from me. Hahaha wait till I see him again I'll make him squirm like a good little worm."
"Maybe he has his reasons master."
"Reason is for sane people." Unable to retort his master Tyor closes his mouth and begins to think.
"Does master want to intervene in the war?"
"Not intervene more like join."
"I see. If I may be so rude as to asking why master seeks to be stronger?" To Tyor's question Roen quieted down and thought for a good amount of time before looking Tyor in the eye. Roen's face resembled the firt time he was talking to Tyor, a troubled face with hints of sadness that contrasted to his usual moods.
"I was born in this world hunted down because of my very existence. I have climbed out of the very depths of hell more times than you have hairs on your head. Seeking strength is like a second nature to me. I never want my past to repeat. And now as soon as I woke up I was nearly killed again! Those bastards try to kill me! Well, right now I need strength, so that later I can walk right up to them and they will hand me their own heads!"

Tyor didn't know how to respond, or more like he couldn't. His master's motive was more profound than he could imagine. Who is it that has the power to rival his master? Who is it that he strives for so much power?
"I recommend going to the Land of Sorcery, they have existed since the beginning of Elm's history they will surely have the answers my master seeks."
"I was already planning on going to that society of worms from the start, but wouldn't it be more fun if we break down their doors and force an answer out of them?" Roen exclaimed with that signature warm smile of his. Tyor wordlessly responded with a nod; if his master goes it would be foolish if he didn't follow.
"Two travelers inside the building! Come out now and be arrested or we will begin to burn the inn to the ground!" A commanding shout came from outside. Tyor was about to go out and start some mass murder, but Roen's hand stopped him. Although confused by his master's actions, Tyor didn't resist and the two walked out of the inn. They saw the inn keeper decked out in full body armor, and the two realized they had fallen for a trap.
"You two are to be arrested and executed by three days time for the crime of assaulting a guard who was also the mayor's son!" The commanding officer had shiny silver armor and a sword to match. His attire screamed 'look at me I'm important'. Tyor was wondering if Roen had a plan or was just playing around.
"We submit!" Roen's surrender gave both a wave of relief and confusion to the surrounding knights. The information they received was that a overly vicious boy with an extremely strong bodyguard ruthlessly attacked a guard. Looking over the two, who could easily beat women in a contest of looks, the knights wondered if they had the wrong people.
"Hurry put them in chains and take them to jail! Tsk disgusting criminals!" The Knights hesitatingly followed their commander's orders while apologizing to the poor duo. That mayor's son is probably sending these two to death because he was jealous. All the knights concluded that must be the case and gave a light sigh.
While being sent to jail the Roen and Tyor gave no resistance and quietly entered their respective cells.
"Mind wanting to fill me in master."
"Ahhaha well let's just say that a party is about to start and we have some uninvited guests." Roen's smile was like a candle in the darkness and Tyor shivered at the sight. Although he had no idea who the uninvited guests were or why they were here, he gave a silent prayer to them wishing them some happiness before their eternal rest.
