Authors note: Hey guys and gals seeing as how i'm new i'm not sure how to link the chapters together at the bottom of the page if anyone could plz tell me how id much appreciate it . Also if there's something you you guys don't get about this chapter hit me up and let me know and ill try to fix it now before this series gets to 2-300 chapters plus.

Chapter 7|| Insight Into Power

[After a confusing night the small family continues on there journey to Freyor, to find out Sens magic potential.]

Sen:(After the other night i realized a few things about my power, first, is that my ability is connected to my eyes, second, as for what my ability is i believe it is control over gravity or telekinesis, as to how i came to these conclusions i have to go back to what actually happened. When they were used t last night i felt my fathers blood lust, it really was quite dreadful.Ii thought him to be pathetic for how easily mom seems to push him around ,but it seems i was mistaken. After last night they were discussing why i attacked him and the conclusion was brought forth that it was indeed because of his blood lust. When mother questioned him as to why he had the blood lust it seems that since the night we left the village hes been having recurring nightmares, and to my understanding he actually destroyed the entire village killing many innocent woman and children, and so hes gone up a bit in my book but that's not all, it seems in slaughtering the villagers it has left a crack in my fathers sanity allowing a hint of cruelty to peek its ugly face out .But enough of that back to my attacking him, when my mana surged forth i felt nothing elemental only a slight pressure in my mind. What i mean by that is the attack was not fire nor water based. So at first i assumed it was earth based seeing as how it was a rock that was thrown, but when my fathers fist collided with the rock there was no earth mana in the rock it self. In my memories it seems that when magic is used what ever magic it may be it leaves behind a small trace of its elemental essence. So if you burn a stick with flame magic after it finished burning there would be small traces of fire essence left in the ashes, if you froze something solid there would be bits of water essence clinging to that object etc. so when i felt no earth essence it came to me telekinesis or gravity when assessing the situation the rock itself was moved, levitating in the air and then propelled forward at my father yet no elemental magic was used, and when the rock collided with his fist it crumbled into dust further supporting my claim. When people summon the elements after the magic is used the object of that magic would normally disappear only leaving elemental essence behind, but the rock simply turned to dust therefore it was a real rock and not a summoned one thru magic, so therefore it can only be telekinesis or gravity. Back to the first attack ,when that villager nearly killed my mother once again an object was thrown, but when the drogens attacked it seemed that i had put them to sleep which i technically did.But what actually had happened i'm not quite sure my self. When they tried to attack me i thought for them to just die , but my power was too weak and i was nearing exhaustion from overuse. So what i assumed happened is that my power forced the blood to rush to the drogens heads ,in doing so it filled up they're eyes with blood and with the moon out it would look like they're eyes were glowing a bit red. But not only that it also cut the circulation off to the rest of there body depriving them of oxygen so if my guess is correct they simply fell unconscious, so for now i can only conclude that my power is one of the two, and after last night i was going over more ideas as to how to use my power and how it actually worked, and as i did i went over everything step by step by step ,after hours of contemplating and little to no results i became more and more depressed.)

[Tara watching her cute baby boy looking more and more upset without crying was making her sad as well and then an idea popped into her head]

Tara:Come here little sen.

[Grabbing little sen slightly under his shoulder she smiled gleefully at him and said.]

tara: Does little sen want to dance.

[Sen being a bit confused at what she meant, put on a slightly worried expression. Tara not minding his expression simply smiled even brighter and then with a little hop jumped down from the cart. As she did, she immediately started to dance with little sen in her arms slowly stepping left and right and a few slight twirls as well. Doing this made kai utterly confused.watching this he pulled the cart over along the long dirt road just slightly in front of some trees, with a slight chuckle he said.]

Kai: Tara ha ha what are you doing.

[Still dancing and twirling.]

tara: Trying to make sen smile, he hasn't even smiled once since he was born, i'm worried.

[Kai stopped laughing and instantly became depressed as well .Tara still dancing with sen, but after a few minutes started gradually losing her smile.]

tara(why)

tara: Why wont you smile......... why wont you cry .

[Tara fell to her knees bringing sen in for a tight hug as she did two streams of tears slowly start to trickle down from her beautiful blue eyes ,down her freckled cheeks and onto the ground. As she does, a gut wrenching feeling as if some one is standing on her stomach hits her . She sits down in the middle of the road with the sun peering down on her back. Seeing this kai puts his face down not being able to bare his wife's sadness thinking to himself(was it worth it, what have i become to protect this this) cutting him self off there he quickly shook his head to dissipate the thought. Feeling a sense of guilt, hes now disgusted with himself. Tara now bawling like a child ,holds little sen up in the air and with one last little smile while trying to choke down her tears and with a hard gulp she says in a broken voice.]

tara: pl.......please, please smile for mommy.

[As sen is being held he doesn't even notice his mother crying. Instead hes still pondering his powers. Looking past her the sun shines brightly at her back, and as it does it catches his eyes. At first his initial reaction is to shut them but before he does a feeling comes to him, the same feeling that came when he used his powers, (the source its coming from the sun) and like a bolt of lightning everything clicked in his mind. The first night he used his powers it was only after the clouds parted and the light from the moon shined down upon him, and the second time he used his powers, just before he used them, he had been looking up at the stars but since he was terrified of his father blood lust and the time before when the beast had attacked him he simply didn't even take it into account. The underlining factor. (The stars. My eyes absorb mana from the stars) After finally realizing the answer was staring him in the face, quite literally, a small smile crept on to his face and then soon after, a laugh, a joyful little laugh filled with excitement.]

sen:ha ha ha ha ha

Tara:s...sen

[Tara hearing the laugh and seeing her son smile, immediately embraces him crying even louder.]

Tara: SEN......my little sen, i love you i love you i love you,Mommy loves you so much.

[Tara starts kissing his face all over frantically, while sen continues to laugh still not noticing his mothers affection. Kai immediately runs over and kneels right next to his wife, and as he does he begins to sob quietly, he then starts to stroke sens soft fluffy hair ever so gently .]

Kai: my boy, my beautiful boy.

[The next day.]

[The whole family was in smiles. Tara and kai because of there son smiling, and sen because hes finally got a real clue about his ability's, and with this new bit of insight he slowly starts to understand his powers. Knowing that his power doesn't use the elements quickly narrowed it down to what his power was, and now that he has a constant source of mana. He slowly starts to try it out. Looking up at the sun, sen rapidly absorbs mana into his eyes, and then pushes it into his body. The time to start putting it to practice is now. Laying in the back of the cart while his mother holds him a small leaf gently floats down landing a few feet in front of his mother. With his body full of mana and his spirit roaring to test his ability out he shuts his eyes for a moment trying to figure out how to move the leaf .He goes back to the times hes used his power and it seem with a bit of will it may work, so with a few more thoughts he quickly opens his eyes feeling the mana course thru out his body. He feels the flow like a small wave, it pushes and pulls, into the limbs out of the limbs, in out in out ,as he continues to feel this, he slowly syncs his breathing with this pulsing wave .As it goes in he breathes in, as it goes out he breathes out nice and rhythmically. Until he feels it is under his control, and with a thought he slowly circulates it into his eyes, and they immediately start to glow.As they do his mother spots it and is quickly worried.]

tara: Kai his eyes, they're glowing again.

[Kai hearing this, looks behind him and upon seeing his sons eyes he immediately pulls the cart over to the side of the road. Worriedly he says.]

kai: I don't have any blood lust, whats going on.

tara:Is he going to attack you again.

kai: I dont' know, what should we do.

[Kai remembering the rocks starts looking around frantically as to make sure nothing comes flying. But as they both sit there not knowing what to do, nothing happens. they wait and wait but still nothing, after a few minutes kai starts to say something when.]

Kai: I think we sh

Sen:(While my parents were panicking i was was trying to move that leaf with a thought(come)but nothing happened. Seeing this i force more mana into my eyes, and with a bit more concentration i think again(come to me)and as i do this small little leaf a few feet away starts to twitch. I think once more(COME TO ME NOW!!)right at that moment the leaf fly's at me fast like the wind and it slaps me in the face landing right on my nose sticking to it. My parent are a bit startled.)

tara: Sen.

[Tara grabs the leaf and try's to throw it away, but as she does it pulls her son with it.]

Sen:(Ow ow ow ow ow)

[Seeing this, she immediately lets go with a confused look, this time kai tries and the same thing happens again.]

Sen:(Ow, neither one of you are gentle.)

[Looking at his parents ever growing worried expression .Sen wills the leaf no more and it gently floats to the floor.

Seeing this kai and tara both let out a sigh of relief.]

[But just as they feel relaxed, sen once more concentrates and wills the leaf to him. Once again it fly's at him quickly and slaps him on the face.,this time sticking to his cheek. He does this repeatedly and his parent finally get that its him doing it ,confused they simply watch silently. After about 10 times sens little body is exhausted and so his eyes stop glowing, and he soon falls asleep. Confused kai and tara discuss what just happened .]

Kai:That was weird.

tara:That leaf kept hitting him and then falling to the ground. How did he do that.

kai: I don't know, i didn't even feel any elements but it was clearly his doing.

tara: Wasn't that wind magic.

kai: You felt it yourself there's no wind essence around him

tara: I cant feel the elements that well remember, my mana potential is low. So then what did he do, what magic has no elements.

kai: I don't know, i didn't even think someone could use magic with out elements. We need to hurry to Freyor so we can understand his magic, before he ends up hurting someone innocent.

tara: Were only a few more days away, let's go.
