Chapter 18

Sitra pov

It’s been months since I last saw my beloved, and our baby was nearly due. Everyday I would send soldiers to search for him, and every day they came back with no news about him.

During one of the longer days when I felt rather annoyed Yuki made the suggestion to visit somewhere to buy clothes and the like for the baby, i reluctantly agreed to do so as it might help me take my mind off Eoin for once, as we were in the carriage heading towards one of the boutiques in the city we were passing a rather small cafe when i saw him.

his red hair hanging down to the small of his back glistening like a bloody gem in the sunlight, the scar along his eye, I was sure that it was him but i decided to not tell yuki for now and investigate later, i noticed that he was also looking at me as the carriage passed so i quickly looked away.

as we were in the boutique i was rather absent minded and kept ignoring Yuki when she would show me some clothes, after we had exited with a few bits and pieces such as a few dresses and shirt in case the child was of either gender.

later that day I told yuki and my sisters that i was heading out to get something, they kept trying to come with me due to my ‘condition’ but I told them that I would be fine, as i left the castle in a simple carriage i went to the cafe where i thought i saw him at, i entered the establishment to see a rather quaint store, not too small but neither too big,i walked up to the counter and rung the small bell that was there.

A young fox-girl came out of the back and quickly bowed to me.

Fox-girl-’’ your highness, what are you doing in this place if you don't mind me asking’’ she said as she held her head down.

Sitra-’’ the young man working here where is he?’’ i asked her as i struggled to hold back the tears that threatened to spill.

Fox-girl-’’ you're looking for davian? he isnt here at the moment he said something about entering the tourney so he went to get some armor’’ she said as she raised her head to reveal a confused look on her face.

Sitra-’’ davain are you sure thats what he said his name was? ‘’ i asked her in panic.

Fox-girl-’’ yes your highness he said davian was his name’’

Sitra-’’ would you mind if i stayed here to meet him?’’ i asked her hopefully.

Fox-girl-’’ of course your highness’’ she said as she lead me to a seat outside the cafe, normally i would have liked to sit inside the cafe just incase it suddenly got cold but it was a rather warm day so i didn't mind sitting out here,on the side of the carriage that i could see that was two guards standing there with their weapons ready in case anything happened.

i sat there for a good hour before i saw him approach the cafe, as he began to head my way i stood up and began to walk towards him, i felt tears rolling down my face as i gazed at the face of the man i loved who i hadn't seen for months, i couldn't help but call out to him and wrap my arms around his neck. my head angled into his shoulder as the tears flowed from my eyes uncontrollably.

Eoin-’’ excuse me miss, but i think you may have me confused with someone else’’ he said as he gently pushed me away from him, i couldn't’ understand what he was saying he was eoin why was he dening it.

Sitra-’’ no im not mistaken, I know what you look like, I know what you have been through most of all i love you’’ I spluttered out through the tears that ran down my face.

Eoin-’’ miss, I really don't think that i am the man you are thinking of’’ he said with an apologetic look on his face.

Sitra-’’NO!! you are him’’ I screamed at him desperately falling onto my knees as I clutched at his clothes.’’please just give me a chance to prove it’’ I begged him between hiccups.

Eoin-’’ ok,il give you a chance to prove it ‘’ he said reluctantly.

Sitra-’’ thank you, your arm there should be a tattoo of sorts, that is a symbol of marriage it should be the same colour as my scales, i have one that is the shade of your hair’’i said to him as I rolled up the sleeve on my arm and showed him the dragon tattoo coiling around my arm.

he looked at me with a surprised face before taking off the pair of gloves he was wearing to show a large purple dragon coiling around his arm.

Eoin-’’ i hadn't told anyone about this, how do you know of it?’’ he asked as his voice slightly rose.

Sitra-’’ i told you already, you are the man i married and who is the father of my child’’ i told him as he looked down at me on the floor with a surprised expression on his face. i slowly got to my feet as i held my womb.’’ do you believe me now?’’ i asked him.

Eoin-’’ not fully’’ he said rather curtly. but i could see on his face he was rather confused by what i said.

Sitra-’’ then would you like me to give you more evidence?’’ i asked him.

Eoin-’’ fine if you want, but i'm staying here’’ he said.

Sitra-’’ then i'm staying too’’ i said to him as i grabbed his hand and began to lead him over too one of the tables outside the cafe.’’ you there, bring yuki to this cafe quickly’’ i said to one of the guards that was escorting me.

Guard-’’ yes your highness’’ he said giving me a quick salute and running of towards the palace.

I then sat beside Eoin and held his hand in mine, he looked rather nervous as i held it. he kept looking at em an then quickly looking away when i caught him doing it.

Sitra-’’ why are you so on guard?’’ i asked him.

Eoin-’’ a random woman walks up to me and calls me by a different name than what i know and says that she is pregnant with my child, you tell me how i am supposed to react to that?’’ he told me as he tried to wriggle his hand out of mine.

i couldn't help but think that the expression on his face was rather cute as he kept trying to get his and away from mine. i kept trying to ask him questions but he wouldn't answer me, but i didn't give up as i needed to know what had happened to him in the months that had passed.

Inside a few minutes i could hear the sound of people heading this way and turned my head to see the guard i had sent earlier and Yuki coming this way, they were in deep conversation about the maintenance of weapons and the like and hadn't noticed us yet.

as yuki got closer she began to turn her head towards us, her eyes seemed to pop out of her head as she saw eoin sitting there still trying to wiggle his and out of mine, she sprinted towards us before throwing herself at him and wrapping her arms around him.

Yuki-’’ Onii-san’’ she said as her face lit up.

Eoin then pushed her away as a scowl appeared on his face.

Eoin-’’ no this is too good to be true, you're not anything to me so i will kindly ask you to leave’’ he said as his voice began to slowly fill with anger

Sitra-’’ what are you saying?, you're my husband’’ i said to him as he ripped his hand free from mine as started to walk into the store.

Eoin-’’ this all seems like a large plot to do something to me and i'm not falling for it’’ he said before disappearing inside the shop,yuki came over to me and started to hug me as the tears started to fall down our faces. had we lost him forever now? was the only thing that was going through my mind at this point in time.

Yuki-’’ Sitra come on lets head back, we will find a way to bring him back to us’’ she said to me as she then brought me over to the carriage.

Eoin/davian Pov

Who were those girls, i kept asking to myself as i lay on my bed in the backroom. i dont know but i knew something wasn't right as its to much of a coincidence that they knew who i was. but i don't have time to dwell on it the tourney starts in a few days and i need to be ready for it.

the next few days passed without incident, but i kept seeing out of the corner of my eye the black haired girl that had called me ‘onii-san’, it seemed as if she was keeping an eye on me. maybe they want something off me i kept thinking to myself. eventually the day of the tourney came and i headed towards the coliseum that morning. as i got to it there was a rather long line for the fighters to enter through as they signed up, i joined the line and started to wait my turn, behind me i could hear people talking about how the tourney might be arranged and from what i could gather it was set into three rounds, each round consisting of a different type of task and each task given a certain number of points that was decided on the day, round one seemed to be fighting against monsters for five waves each wave getting more difficult, the second round was a team battle where teams of five would try to capture the ‘general’ of the other teams and the third round was a where you had to fight against an opponent and if you won you would go on to face the next opponent , you would carry on to see how many people you could beat and at the end of the tourney the amount of points that a person gathered would be counted up and the winner would be announced.

as i slowly got the desk that was taking the registrations of the fighters, i noticed the black haired girl from a few days earlier was in front of me, it seemed that she was signing up for the tourney and that it was possible that i would face her during it.

i eventually got to eh front desk and the man at the desk looked at me. he gave me a slight smile before asking to sign my name down and saying that any injury or loss of life was not the fault of the kingdom but was in the hands of the fighters.

i was handed a small circular disk that had the number 47 on it after i had wrote down my name, i then entered the waiting room of the coliseum until it was time for the tourney to start.

in the coliseum i could hear the roar of the crowds as they waited for the fighting to begin, i could just make out some of the stuff in the coliseum floor but in all honesty it was rather plain, a few dips in the landscape and a small river going through the middle was all there was.

the master of ceremonies soon came out and began to bow to the crown before beginning to talk in a louder than usual voice, i chalked this up to magic enhancing it. she was wearing a rather revealing dress that along the leg had a rather large slit where you could see the milky white skin of her leg. her face i couldn't make out to clearly from the distance i was away from her, but you could see her fox like tails swaying provocatively behind her.

MC-’’ ladies and gentlemen my name is Narlte, and for this tourney i shall have the pleasure of being your master of ceremonies’’ she shouted out in a voice that was rather pleasant on the ears.

MC-’’now let me introduce our kind monarchs, King Thure Delia and his beloved wife Mara Delia, we of choose cannot forget about their daughter's, First princess Sitra Delia Watanabe, Second princess Cinrea and third princess Tabitha’’ she roared out to a rather large cheer. as she said this five people entered a private spectator’s box, i couldn't quite make out what they looked like from this distance but i could see what looked to be two people with green looking hair

MC-’’ now you have all heard the rumours but is it true that Princess Sitra has gotten married, and to someone who isnt a noble at that, now my king can you tell us if this is the case?’’ she asked the royal family.

King-’’ yes it is’’ he said rather curtly as he sat down.

the crowd suddenly started to cheer louder upon hearing the answer that the king had given out,and i could see some of the people in front of me smiling while others were grumbling in a low voice.

MC-’’ oh you heard him guys now shall we start the tourney?’’ she asked the crowd as she waved her arms in front of her, the crowd roared out to start the games.

MC-’’ ok we shall start with the monster fighting round, now there shall be five waves each consisting of a different type of monster, waves 1-4 are worth five points while wave five is ten, if a fighter doesn't feel like they can complete the next wave then they can cash in the current point to proceed to the next task, but if they fail a single wave then ten points shall be taken away, that means that a fighter can go into negative points, so now we shall draw a random number and the fighter with that number will go first’’ she said as she walked around the arena before heading to an elevator at the side of it.

MC-’’ no without further ado first to be fight is number ..

heres another chapter of ATTSF for you to enjoy and read, the chapter is half pr'ed by a zeenu(he was on google docs while i wrote it)comments and that are welcome and there will possibly be a chapter of xarjurn tommorow, depending on how much league i play adn how tired i am
