Five days later, Echo is sitting on top of a tree and eating a blue fruit, which is growing on this tree. The fruit itself is pretty sweet and juicy, but If you were to eat too much, it will start to poison you. Why it does that, Ehci doesn't know, because the book, he read doesn't know either. His theory is that, the fruit is poisones, but the poison is pretty harmless in small doses. But that's his theory.

After he finishes eating, he looks to his right and sees the heroes and the knights coming from the distance.

"Finally."he mutters and jumps down onto the ground.

The group stops in front of him and Walther orders everyone to rest and check their equipment. He then goes to Echo and asks"Did you scout the fortress?"

"Yes and made a plan too. I'll tell the others after they have rested."Echo replies to him and crosses his arms.

"Understood. I'll wait for it."Walther replies and walks to the platoon of knights, to talk about something.

Echo himself just leans against the tree and thinks. While he is doing that, the others sitting on the ground and talking with each other.

After and hour, everyone has rested and now Are listening to Echos plan.

"During the day, they have fifty soldiers on the walls and hundred or so soldiers on the ground. During the night, only twenty on the walls and fity on the ground. The rest are sleeping in the cidetal. As for the total number of enemies, it's about three hundred. Now then, how do take back the place. First we have to take out all the guards on the walls in the span of a minute, before they realize that they are being attacked. Then the people on the walls split into two teams. First team has to take the bell tower, so they couldn't alarm the others. The second team will open the gate and let the ground team in. Now the ground teams job is to take out the enemies on the ground and the team, who opened the gate, will join them. Once everyone is dead on the ground, you won't go into the cidetal, as they may have it booby trapped. So what we do, is wait for them do exit the cidetal, as the sound of the battle has woken them up. The moment they open the door, the arches will start shooting at them. As for mages, you will start fireing your spells and kill everyone who steps out. In the meanwhile, I will enter the cidetal through a more dangerous entrance and capture their commander. Any questions?"

Chris raises his hand and asks"Why are you the one, to capture the commander?"

"Because he can't join the battle. If he were to join, there would be more casualties. And as I am the best climber, I will take him, alive. As we can get information out of him."Echo answers

"Any more questions? Good."he continues"Now then, we will make the teams and I shall explain everyones exact job then."

"First off: wall team. For that, I need people who can get to the walls quickly, by climbing it by magic. The wall team has to be quick and quiet. So who can do it?"He asks and sees a few hands.

"Okay Mari, David and the five other knights Are with me on the wall."

"Everyone else, who uses mostly melee weapon, will be a ground team. As for the archers and mages, you will be the last one to enter through the gate. Archers will watch over the wall team at first, but won't shoot, unles it's necesary to do that. As the body hitting the ground, will make too much noise. So If everything goes well, you don't have to fire, before you yourself have gotten onto the wall with mages."

"Now then, I will show our position."Echo says and draws a giant overhead view of the fortress onto the ground with a stick and then starts pointing everyones location.

Once he is done with that, he asks"Everyone understand?"

"Yes!"is replied back to him.

"Good. We will start in six hours."Echo replies and walks away.

An hour later, Echo is sitting under the tree, while shuffeling his cards and looking at the sky. When he hears a footsteps, he turns to his right and sees Walther there.

"Can I ask you a question?"Walther asks and Echo answers"Depending on the question."

"It's about the plan. How many allies will die?"Walther asks him, knowing that a lot of people are gonna die tonight.

"Half of your platoon and two heroes at least. Well according to my calculation. We are out numbered 6-to-1. The heroes are the strongest humans not the strongest people. The demons are a lot stronger then humans and I would sat that the hero is twice as strong as a demon. So If it would be 1-to-1, we would easily win, but it isn't. We are outnumbered and outstrength. So the only way to kill all the demons, is to take them out as fast as possible. Without hesitation. Hesitation will only get you killed."

"You say, like you know it personally. How is that?"Walther asks him.

"I have seen it with my own eyes and I almost got killed once because I hesitated."Echo answers to him and looks at the sky.

"So you have been in a war before?"He asks Echo, who doesn't say anything for a few seconds and then says"Yes."

Later that night, everyone has taken in theri position. Echo and his group had sneaked up to the wall and were waiting for Echo to give them a signal. Echo hismelf looked up to the wall and when he saw the light pass, he said."Now."

And he started to quickly climb up the walls, then got onto the wall, sneaked up to the demon and before the demon could react, Echo hand grabbed his head and broken his neck. He gently laid the body onto the ground and looked at the others, who had also got up here their own way.

"David and you two with me to the tower. Mari and you three to the gate. Lets love!"He orders and starts to sneak on the wall. Up a head, there was tower and on it, there are two guards.

"You move on. I will deal with them."Echo says and throws one his cards at the guard, killing him. Then he blinks to the dead guard and throws the other card, before the demon could even turn around. He cathes the demons body and lays it onto the ground. He then looks over the egde and sees that his group has killed four other demons. He looks over to the other side of the wall and sees Mari with the group, have already reached the gate.

"Good."Echo mutters and climbs down the tower. He then cathes up with his group and kill the last guard. They then climb up to the bell tower, where they find two other guards, who they kill quickly.

"Bell tower captured."Echo says and looks over to the gate team and see, that they are rising the gate.

On the ground, the demons are looking at the gate and one of them ask"Why is the gate being rised."

"Don't kno-. Ooh shit. Enemy!"he screams out, as he sees the ground team running in with their weapons drawn. The arches and the mages follow them and get onto the walls, to provide support.

A fierce battle follows with swords clashing and blood flies everywhere. Demons are dropping and so are humans. The heroes receive guts, but they are quickly healed by Evelyn. Echo himself looks at the battle from the tower and then says"I'll go get the commander."

He then proceeds to jump over the ledge and lands onto the roof. From where he jumps down onto the balcony and enters the room.

In the meanwhile at the tower, David and the two knights are guarding the tower.

"So Echo will get the glory from this battle."David says and one of the knights replies"Probably."

"Actually, it will be me."says the other and stabs David from behind.

"Why?"David asks in a weak voice and the first knight replies"Because we are demons." Before cutting his head off.

"We will surely be rewarded from this."demon #1 says and demon #2 says"I will be rewarded."

He then kills his partner with the same sword and sheathes it. His appearance changes that, of a demon and he walks over to the bell rope. He grabs the rope and pulls it, ringing the bell.
