A few hours later he finally had another technique created. This one would be much simpler but he would have to use Gravity Magic along with it. First off, he threw his sword into the air a good 5 feet above him.
He pulled out both of his pistols and rapid-fired three shots with both. Putting the pistols away, he watched the blade slowly descend back towards him. Timing it correctly, the moment the bottom of the hilt faced him, he slammed his palm into it, and using gravity magic, propelled the sword forwards by repelling it from his hand. The sword flew forward with great speed, but missed the dummy, by a lot.
I was close... All I need now is more aim.
God, it's been so long but I still have barely created any techniques. Can defensive techniques and some simple combos work? I'll test that out right now.
Grabbing his sword in his left hand and the heavy pistol in the other, he walked towards the dummy.
Once he was 15 meters away, he began shooting the dummy with the heavy pistols while zigzagging towards it. Once he got close, he cut an X into the center of the dummy before putting his leg onto the center of the X and pushing away.
As he was pushed away, he charged up a large shot in his pistol and once his feet touched the floor he let it shoot.
There, that's another one. much simpler and easier to use. But now how would I create a defensinve technique? I don't think the dummy can attack me... or wait.
Walking up behind the dummy, Jayson remembered seeing Knell press a few buttons.

Looking at the back of the dummy, he saw a floating blue hologram. There were options to change the size, shape, density, and even movement of the dummy. At the very bottom was a stance option that went from still to expert. He moved it to beginner and got back.
He watched as suddenly the dummy began to move. It took on a basic Tae-Kwon-Do front stance. Out of nowhere, the dummy charged forward before launching a flurry of punches and kicks towards Jayson. While none of them hurt, the sheer amount that hit him managed to push him back and bruise him.
Well damn. Now that I can probably create a defensive stance, how do I want it to work. The guns will probably be useless, so maybe a Blade-Dancer type spinning defense?
Grabbing his sword in both hands, he prepared once again. This time, when the dummy charged forwards he was ready. The first two punched were sent flying towards his face.
Ducking to the left, he dodged the right punch. Using his sword, he deflected the left punch before kicking the dummy in the stomach, sending it a few feet back. It quickly Moved back forwards before launching a front-kick at him.
He moved to the side, barely dodging the kick. He brought up his sword to hit the dummy along the head, but another kick found itself planted straight into his solar plexus.
As he pushed himself off the floor he began rethinking what he was going to do.
Okay, I keep trying to be offensive in the middle of the defense. I'm also wayyyy too rigid. I have to elarn to flow around the hits so that eventually I might be able to dodge bullets... eventually.
Quickly picking himself back up, he took a deep breath as the dummy moved back it.

This time, it send a punch at his face before attempting a side-kick. Moving his head to the side, he dodged the punch by a breath before walking forward into the dummies opening. The dummy's kick couldn't hit him here, so he watched as it changed its fighting style mid-fight. The moment it's leg touched the floor once more, it took a southpaw boxing stance and sent a quick jab towards his chin. Blocking it with his sword, He quickly spun clockwise away from the dummy, almost getting hit by another jab in the process.
Smiling, Jayson continued doing this for a few more minutes before he got hit once more.
