《Harvest Factory ~ a Farmer Life》Chapter 22 : Break (1)

In the morning, Yan Xiu had Bai Yuan delivered the green water to the livestock. Bai Yuan gazed at the green water intensely, the fresh fragrance from the water was very enticing to Bai Yuan.
Yan Xiu was amused looking at Bai Yuan, he produced seven buckets worth of green water while resting in between.
"Don't worry, I have your portion right here. So just take that to the livestock and be careful not to drop it." (YX)
"Uho! (Got, it!)" (BY)
With bucket in each hand, Bai Yuan carefully walked to the pig pen and chicken coop. Six buckets were for the pigs, chickens, and Bai Yuan, two buckets each. The last one was for the Glass Lime. The last two crops, Spiked Carrots and Snow Radish were ready to harvest, so the Glass Lime got a bucket for itself. Yan Xiu was thinking of fermenting them.
After harvesting and watering, Yan Xiu went to cultivating. On the side, Bai Yuan was enjoying the green water after he delivered the green water to the pig pen and chicken coop. He drank it slowly, sip by sip, like enjoying a wine.
.....
"Teacher, we're almost there." (CH)
"Un." (XM)
Chen Hanchen was walking with Xiao Musheng toward Yan Xiu house, their purpose was to check on the contract between Yan Xiu and Bai Yuan, also to check Bai Yuan personality. They would not let a demon beast with dangerous and uncontrollable personality into the village, even if it was contracted.
Frankly, Xiao Musheng didn't believe Yan Xiu had contracted a demon beast, what's more the demon beast was stronger than him. Chen Hanchen might not know, but Xiao Musheng knew that contracting beast was harder than it looks.
First, the contractor, in this case the human, must be stronger than the demon beast, or the demon beast would break free from the cultivator control. Second, the most important factor, the demon beast must be willing to be contracted, lest the demon beast would be harder to control, even try to break the contract and the contractor would suffer the demon beast wrath if it ever be free.

Based on the two conditions, Xiao Musheng had his reason to not believe what Chen Hanchen told him.
Turning back time to yesterday evening, Xiao Musheng just got back to the hunter HQ and Chen Hanchen already waiting for him at the door.
Chen Hanchen recounted Yan Xiu battle with the Wood Snake to him, after the story, Xiao Musheng held the same opinion with Chen Hanchen. The boy was a talent, he had to be nurtured carefully.
But, when Chen Hanchen reached the part where Bai Yuan showed up, Xiao Musheng could hardly believe what he heard. A boy and demon beast eating together? A demon beast following a boy for food? Even going as far as make a contract for it?
Xiao Musheng wondered just what was Chen Hanchen smoking when he recounted the story for him. In the end, to ascertain the truth, Xiao Musheng decided to check it personally.
When they reached Yan Xiu house, Xiao Musheng was rooted on the spot. While Chen Hanchen could only feel the barrier when he passes through, Xiao Musheng already felt the barrier from afar.
Chen Hanchen already told him about the barrier, but he didn't believe it. Why would an esteemed personage stayed on this backwater village? But now, he was forced to believe it.
Looking at the barrier covering the house and areas around it, Xiao Musheng knew that he would ve disintegrated if he ever try to trespass it. The strength of the barrier was monstrous, stronger than any barrier or anything he ever encountered before.
His back wet with cold sweat, although the barrier didn't deliberately suppressed or attack him, Xiao Musheng, who could feel the barrier power, couldn't help but feared it.
Chen Hanchen already knew that Xiao Mushen was taken back by the barrier, but from his reaction, Chen Hanchen realized that the barrier seemed to be stronger than he thought.

While the two were standing outside the barrier, Bai Yuan, who had finished drinking, felt Xiao Musheng strong presence and went to the front of the house.
Normally, Bai Yuan would flee instead of going near human stronger than him. But with the barrier around, he knew the strong human wouldn't be able to touch him. He looked at Xiao Musheng and Chen Hanchen beside him, under the barrier's protection, Bai Yuan began to feel smug and mischief.
He rose to his feet, standing at almost three meters high, Bai Yuan looked down at Xiao Musheng from above. He raised his head as if it wasn't enough and put his hands on his waist, adding the smug look on his face, Bai Yuan was clearly taunting Xiao Musheng. Uhouho hohoho (A chance to taunt a human stronger than me, how could I miss it!) thought Bai Yuan.
Xiao Musheng saw Bai Yuan making fun at him but he ignored that, such cheap provocation was beneath him. While Xiao Musheng wasn't affected, Chen Hanchen got riled up. Nobody messes with my teacher! Thought Chen Hanchen as he ran and gave Bai Yuan a flying kick.
When Chen Hanchen passed through the barrier, Bai Yuan was surprised before quickly defending himself. Uhouho (If it were the strong human, I'll be in trouble but if it's you, see how I mess you up!)
Bai Yuan and Chen Hanchen tangled up as they fought, the sound of their fight wasn't small, Yan Xiu, who was preparing to cook, heard it and came out. He was dumbfounded when he saw Bai Yuan and Chen Hanchen fighting.
"What are you guys doing?" (YX)
"Little Xiu, you're demon beast is too much!" (CH)
"Uho houho! (Master, he attacked, first!)" (BY)
Besides messed up clothes and fur, their was no visible wounds on their body, clearly they were just playing. The two of them were glaring at each other, Yan Xiu shook his head and came to Xiao Musheng.
"Greetings to head hunter!" (YX)
"... Un." (XM)
"Head hunter, please come in, I just about to make breakfast." (YX)
Xiao Musheng was still affected by the barrier power, hence he was a little slow. He followed Yan Xiu and when he passed through the barrier, he felt the foreign power briefly scanned through his body before leaving.
When he heard about breakfast, Chen Hanchen swiftly left Bai Yuan and chased Yan Xiu. For him, food was a priority. Bai Yuan didn't lose out, he raced Chen Hanchen to the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Yan Xiu was waiting for the rice to cook, Xiao Musheng was scanning his surrounding, while Bai Yuan and Chen Hanchen was waiting obediently for food. With this amount of people, Yan Xiu decided on one dish, fried rice!
