In the space between worlds a man stood, gazing at a small planet.
His features shifted quckly. One moment he seemed an old man with a thick moustache, thick brows, and wild snow white hair. The next, a skinny young fellow with dark hair and lightning arcing between his fingers. Finally, his image settled as a handsome man with a strong jaw, black hair, and well trimmed beard in armor of gold and red.
He didn't wait long before a woman appeared next to him, her voice echoing in the dark, "Hello Technology, you called?"
"Me? Call? Absolutely not." He turned to her, noting her form already settled to the last she'd truly favored on the world below them. Short brown hair curled into a crown of braids, topped with a wreath of olive branches. She had glowing blue eyes, lit with the power of pure Mana. Her face was the powerful image of a War Goddess made beautiful by the light of intelligence and mischief over a body similarly porportioned. Strength tempered by the curves of a beautiful young woman was obvious beneath the simple toga she wore.
Technology noted her image was faded, nearly transparent, a reminder of her rapidly dying influence over the universe below. Moving to the planet, he spoke again.
"You know what? Nevermind. Yes, I called. I wanted to get your opinion on something." He waved her closer to the planet, "You see over there? The southern coast of that continent? Notice anything unusual?"
She immediately recognized what had caught his attention. Her eyes narrowed in suspicion, "Aside from the fact you've given that soul a...Greater Blessing? Really? They would have been an exceptional mage due to their mana capacity and mental strength. Unfortunately, their ancestors Sundered the magic from this world. Did you ask me here to gloat?"

"Look sister, I only gloat when I have a reason to gloat. Have you seen the things the mortals in other worlds have accomplished mixing science and magic? I'd LOVE to have magic back in this universe to see what they'd come up with...especially this kid. Unfortunately, it would immediatly cause their space-time to implode. Believe me, I tested it and it happens every time." He nodded back at the unusual soul, "I want you to look at their magical affinities and innate traits, you're the expert Ms. Goddess of Magic. Also, if I'm right about this soul, you can have them as long as you let them keep my blessing."
After staring at Technology for a moment, weighing his words against his attitude, Magic shrugged and leaned back towards the little blue planet. Now that she was actually interested it didn't take her long to see why Technology wanted a second opinion, she couldn't help but shout,
