I looked at a disgusted Max. Thorn was laughing at him. Max swore “Why do i have to hold this dead head anyway” I tried not to laugh at Maxes face. Thorn did not stop from laughing “serves you right next time do not make such a mess when cutting heads off”
Max starred at me “So why do we need the head anyway” I tapped the head and the eyes opened. “AGGGG” the head started to scream out. Max actually turned pale. I tapped the head again and it stopped screaming “Information dumb ass The vampires have started to move there less valuable goods but there is still a hundred years of goods. We might be able to take the other waggons as well.”
I got into the waggon with the armour and tried to get some sleep. I shut my eyes and Max woke me up “Problem boss there are about ten paladins and a inquisitor up ahead with Jessica” I looked up and noticed that Jessica and Temperance a lv 45 Priestess mage inquisitor was barring our path. I shrugged “the inquisitor sent after Thorn and me should be level 61 and up. Thats not her thankfully”
Jessica rode forward with a escort of two Paladins who looked at Max in horror and fear. I starred at Jessica “Whats up with that. I mean why is everyone afraid of a Chaos paladin?”
Jessica looked sorrowful “Its because chaos is the source of us all. The gods teach us that. It is a great crime to allow chaos into the world Because of the” Thorn raised her hand “Ok enough what do you want?”
Temperance raised her hand “Its simple the necromancer will come with us for questioning and we will be taking that waggon” Jessica nodded “Its for the best in a few years when your older we will let you go. Its just your being effected by your titles.”
A golden circle appeared around up and Temperance laughed
“Its a circle of light. It will cleanse your undead creations” I reached out and pushed the golden circle darkened and turned black.
Temperance turned pale “Impossible a mere necromancer like you could not have that kind of power. Only a Arch necromancer could do something like that. This level of energy its from a arch necromancer.” Jessica paled and shouted “He needs our help now more than ever.” Thorn drew her axes and grinned “Better take a look at that golem before you count your gold”
The leader of the paladins turned pale “We are going to lose a lot of lives here if we have to stop them” Shelly tossed a bag to the ground and winked at the Paladin leader “I found a purse with fifty gold coins could you find it a good home?”
The paladin leader nodded and we set off with A furious Jessica was berating the knights. I nodded to her and thought of something “Theres a house thats burning it that direction. There are a couple of my minions tossing fire balls at it and smashing it. You could smash my minions and cast sanctuary over the house maybe destroy the vampires under the house.”

I went back to sleep and yawned as we made our way back to the goblin dungeon. I ordered my goblin skeleton mages to collect as many better quality skeletons as they could and load them onto the waggons. A few hours later i was woken so i could get onto a different waggon and we headed out.
I woke up when the waggons stopped it was dark out and we held a meeting. Tom and Shelly were holding hands. Shelly spoke up “Its time I left. I will take five percent of our latest haul. One percent for Amy and two for me and Tom.” I was stunned Shelly sighed sadly “I want a family with Tom. Your getting to powerful to quickly. I wanted to be a adventurer but now i want to settle down.” Amy nodded “I also want to go back and safely live. It has been a lot of fun but its time I got back to brewing herbs.”
I starred at Max and the three idiot paladins. Max grinned “We are with you boss.” I nodded “Alright Shelly you and the hired help can leave whenever you want but I need to talk with you before you leave.”
I huddled together with thorn and the four idiot Paladins. Thorn looked at me “What now we can head back to Van.” I shook my head “Na i have a better idea. But it means us splitting up.”
Thorn looked at me “What better idea?” I pulled out a Vampire ledger that i had taken from the loot. “The vampires owned three dungeons who owns them now?” I pulled out a map of the local area “This is a list of the vampires property and the false names he held them under. As far as i am concerned thats my land.”
Max eyes glowed “We have the deeds to them all.” I nodded “James Joey and Paul are still Paladins and Knights. You can claim a Dungeon each and build a small keep on top of them all. I certainly have the gold. I will keep some of the more powerful magic items but you lot go back to Liverlake city. Get Amy to help hire you a Lawyer and put in a claim. Fifty gold should get a temporary three year claim.”
James piped in “Why not get the ten year claim?” “Because your not actually paying again to register once the three years is up.”Max grin widened as the other three Paladins realized there was no way I was paying tax once I had three castles built.
I nodded to James “Take my gold to Liverlake city hire a mercenary band and some builders. Bring in some of your friends and train them up in the dungeons. You can take the lord class next with me as your overlord. There are always farmers looking for land. Bring them in as yeomen. Make sure they can claim the class yeoman archer. Also your cut in the venture is two percent you get that now and more when I return. Lets draw up a contract and both of us will keep a copy.”

Max grinned “So what about the Black wind mercenaries. There going to want to claim the dungeons for themselves.” I patted a waggon “I happen to have about five hundred Goblin skeletons and a lot of time on my hands.”
Once decided Shelly was fast she collected her five percent ignoring the property deeds and headed out. She took Amy, Tom and three of my paladins. I was left with Thorn Max and two woodsmen Russ and Tinker. Tinker looked at Max “So what now?” Max grinned “We find a nice hiding place and stay put for a week or so then you get paid double as agreed.”
We found a hidden cave and killed the bear that lived there. After hiding the waggons the best we could I had Thorn and Rusty hunt down more bears and got started.
Creating bone golem was hard but it seemed to raise my ability very very fast. I experimented with creating different golems and found that i could and a couple of different effects to my bone golems. I could increase the golems fire breath at the expense of its regeneration.
Five days later i was out of skill books and vampire parts needed to create any more Bone golems and i started on the goblin shaman i needed to craft. I used about four lesser skill books to create one shaman skeleton. I created two hundred and armed half with staffs taken from the vampires. Then i crafted two hundred goblin slinger's and finally one hundred of various types of elite warrior skeletons. 25 skeleton archers and 27 archer - goblin riders.
Russ found me twenty seven skeletons from dogs and wolves and i created mounts and archers to ride them. It was a pain finding the small hunting bows they needed but tinker came threw. Buying 27 children's practise bows. Unfortunately all efforts to put a shaman on a wolf failed miserable.
I looked at my small army and grinned someone was in for a surprise. A tired looking Max came over and looked at the slinger
and archer skeletons firing at a practise doll. Max laughed “You know they do not get any better at that right?” I nodded “Yeah but my command skeletons do get better at giving commands. It took almost as many resources to create a competent skeleton commander as four shaman”
The archers and slingers switched targets. Max laughed happily. “ok boss we are ready to go release your horde and we will catch the next boat to Silverlake city.”
Inquisition interviews on the burning of the black wind mercenaries warehouse.
Inquisitor temperance: Please tell us what happened.
Ex black wind mercenary no 12: Well everything was going well. There were three groups hired to guard the Vampires loot us and a archer devision and the knight devision.
When word came in that the vampire headquaters was under attack the knights leader Anton screamed out that he needed to rescue lady Rebeca. I guess the vampire lord had decided to get his claws into at least one mercenary group.
The knights just rode off and our leader Jack and the archers leader Ben got together to discuss our options. It came down to this the vampires looked finished so we decided to loot all the goods they were moving out on the waggons.
Well a few knights came back from trying to rescue Rebeca. They ran into someone called Jessica who I heard who hit them with a smite spell. Then the paladins chased them right to our door.
Ben the leader of the archers personally killed most of the ones stupid enough to come back to our base. He wanted the experience points.
Everything was going well at this point the plan was to grab the vampires loot and use it to set ourselves up a local warlords. Thats when we were told there was a skeleton horde coming our way.
Ben insisted on sending out a couple of rangers and they came back saying there was a small army waiting in the local forest. The problem was they were undead and the vampires frowned on priests. We did not have any priests or holy water and we had no idea when the undead army was going to arrive.
Thats when Ben and his archers ran out to try and ambush the skeletons. They never came back. That night the skeletons attacked suddenly fireballs hit the fort we were in and then the nightmare began.
Balls of flaming rags and bottles of distilled goblin beer were tossed over the wooden wall we had around the supply base. Then stones started to rain down from above. We heard noises from outside and something started to attack the main wall. We heard fighting from outside and i guess Ben and his archers must have taken the skeletons from behind. Not that it did much good or so i am told. That is when i got hit in the head with a rock.
All the supplies were burnt when i woke up. Ben took his archers and left when he saw the supplies were on fire and the few black wind mercenaries that were left when Jessica arrived to clear out the undead. Well we grabbed what we could and decided to find employment elsewhere.
I really wish I could hire on with the neomancer who attacked us. I bet that evil
Inquisitor temperance: Enough. No language in hear you would have signed on with the person who killed your friends?
Ex black wind mercenary no 12: In a heart beat with the vampires dead we were planing on claiming the local three dungeons. I bet the necromancer who attacked is planing on taking control of them . There fairly valuable and there is no one else around to stop further expansion.
Inquisitor temperance: Three Paladans have brought forward the deeds and are claiming those dungeons.
Ex black wind mercenary no 12:I bet
