Prologue

The idea of a virtual reality games already existed since 19th century but it was only realized somewhere in early 21st century which can only be used by professionals and were not meant to be for gaming but for creating and visualizing stuff such as cars, airplanes, fighter jet, etc.

However, Thanks to Unicorn corp as the console maker a real virtual games can be created and sold for home usage.This game started just like any other console game such as PlayStation, Iphone, etc which started from a very crude pixel games and puzzles with a difference that you can touch the pixel and moving them.

Without further delay, the console and virtual reality programmer sold and hired like no other. making it the most wanted game console in the world since its usage isn’t limited to gaming but business meeting, seminars, lectured and even the whole office building can be cramped into virtual reality which at some points plummets the price of land property since people can do their work at home.

Following the console, groups programmer for games followed suit. Like bandai, konami, and others that are making games for PlayStation. They started to make games for this virtual reality capsule. And games started to spawn

Following the market with a pride as the maker of the capsule Unicorn corp began investing a huge number of money into one single game called royalroad. Many investor and market researcher debated on why unicorn would plant such an enormous sum of money just for a single game while you can make a thousands of above average games or even hundreds that can ranked top in game magazines for a year.

The answer is simple. The developer of the capsule kim han soo only wishes to make one game. One that is far surpassed of any other game not only in years. But decades or even centuries. One that left mark in history.

And so with countless effort of countless scientist. a super game called royal road began in Korea and throughout the world.

Lily currently reading again in her own room. she was a timid and shy girl with a one or two friends which already drifted into another country since she graduated form junior high school. now in a very prestigious high school she spent her time alone. Reading in library

This prestigious school has a strict rule about bullying. While that prevents the worse of situation, other people just grouped together with whoever they liked and leave lily alone.

Lily knows that this current situation was mostly or at least partially her fault since she never be able to raise a topic of conversation and when asked when only answered with a lot of erm and um that makes a lot of people just ignore her

When she was reading a borrowed book from library in her class she overheard a classmates talked about royalroad. They praised how amazing it was and so on.

She found out later in her iPhone that royal road is a virtual reality game with 99% reality that are set in a middle ages with a fantasy creatures and so on. Wikipedia also praised for its creative magic usage, monster design, and the best AI on every NPC in this game.

She wasn’t a fan of rpg games but she played some of it. and she wasn’t at least bit interested in battle in these VR games that boasted a real battle which scared her more as a shy girl but with a real life NPC she thought

“maybe i can change.”

When she came home that day. Like usual her father and mother was nowhere to be seen. As a director of a large corporate they had to endure traveling here and there to scout its rival companies and manage his branch companies.

With a determination she usually doesn’t show she mailed her father saying that she wanted a capsule and a game called royalroad installed.

“umm. Father, i am sorry to disturbed you at your work. I want a virtual reality capsule and a game called royalroad..”

That was the message she sent to her father.

After 3 hours of waiting without answers she just put the phone back into her desk, changed her clothes and reading while wondering if her father will give her what she wanted.

In the next day however. After school In her surprise a capsule was set in her homes with a memo

“This is the capsule. Have fun with it. and tell me about its adventure there since due to my duties i cannot go into this world.”

‘A written mail! Can’t he just use a normal mailing method!’

This is what she thought. Honestly part of her shyness must be born due to her father always give her agony when she asked for something.Then after 4 hours spending time reading 300 pages of useless manual which others would only glimpse or not reading it at all she finally entered the capsule. After the dark chamber of the capsule came a bright light followed by a woman voice
