《Fighting for the Lord of Earth》Chapter 3 - Spinning Faster

“What do you mean by taken control of the planet?”
The young translator quickly tried asking Leete once more for clarification, but unfortunately their limited time teaching him how to speak English wasn’t enough for this kind of in-depth conversation and their understanding of his language was very limited in turn. Nervously he shrugged his shoulders in uncertainty. Not getting anything from him the world leaders looked to Leete for more information.
“Prince StoneTooth, take uh… possession! Of, world heart. His world now.” Of course that made the world leaders even more confused now. None of them believing in magic, they couldn’t begin to believe that he had done what Leete said. After all, each member here had never surrendered to anyone, least of all the alien Prince that had just arrived.
“This world is not yours and we will not surrender it to you or to anyone.” The US President put up a strong opposition, but him standing there in a suit, sweating under the hot sun and desert climate didn’t really give him an imposing figure. Never the less, the other world leaders all nodded their heads after translators spoke through their ear pieces.
Unable to find a way to translate what he was trying to said he started talking with the prince. They conversed back and forth, the prince yelling at him for a little while Leete lowered his head in apology. Eventually it seemed like they came to a decision.
Lifting his sword high above his head, the Prince emitted some kind of pulse that instantly passed through everyone there. The secret service didn’t like that once again, but the US President shook off his protective detail, yelling at them to back off.
No one knew what to expect as the prince stood there frozen, holding his sword up.

After a minute people nervously started to laugh as if the whole thing had been a joke. Magic couldn’t exist in this world. And that pulse that came from the prince had to have been some kind of staged trick.
But as the world leaders were laughing it off, a journalist on the edge of the crowd noticed something behind him. Turning around he looked up, gasped, and then immediately started taking pictures before setting his camera to record video.
By that time others had looked at what he was seeing and were also taking pictures.
The world was spinning.
Naturally the world was already spinning. That’s how night and day happens. Without the Earth spinning its theorized that the electromagnetic sphere and then the ozone layer around the earth would collapse, but what if the Earth was spinning faster than it normally does?
Would the clouds start moving at a faster pace? Maybe, but they were now.
Would the wind become stronger? Maybe, but it was.
Would the animals start to panic? Flying high into the sky before immediately turning around in circles, or trying to swim out of water or immediately creating a stampede? Maybe.
Would a bright day in the African Sahara desert turn into night within minutes? Most definitely.
Would the night be completely covered in an aurora? I have no clue, but the night sky was lit up with pretty colors that waved at everyone below. Awesome.
Then, just as fast as night had come, the sun was climbing up and settled back high in the sky.
After only minutes, Prince StoneTooth lowered his sword. He spoke once more to Leete before looking at the world leaders in front of him.
“Prince StoneTooth, asks, you understand?”
Shock, awe, and fear could be seen in various degrees on everyone’s face, but above all else anger was clearly evident upon the faces of leaders whose countries were known for their military might.

“Oh, I’m sure we understand. You have just declared war upon the United States of America.”
“А также земли Pусского народа.” (As well as upon the lands of the Russian People)
“Also upon the people of the Congo”
“France.”
“Japan.”
“Republic of Korea.”
“The United Territories of the Cradle.” And so on and so forth leaders came out declaring that war would happen. That the people of this world would fight to remain free of this Alien Kingdom.
The Secret Service pointed their weapons straight at the three while a few spoke into their microphones and listened to their ear pieces.
In the distance you could hear the faint sound of heavy vehicles moving on their position while somewhere else pilots were jumping into fueled jets, preparing for takeoff and ballistic missiles were preparing for launch into space. The full armed force of the world was coming down upon these invaders.
“I’m sorry things escalated this way Prince StoneTooth. Unfortunately this situation is caused by your own actions. Guards, arrest these men.” The orders of a US President weren’t argued over by the sovereign leader of this country. At this point the best thing was to arrest the only people ever to be considered criminals around the entire world.
Leete dropped his friendly attitude. Blue glowing light encased his hand as he raised it up in a claw like fashion. Every man with a gun suddenly found themselves floating in the air.
The figure shrouded in leather, forgotten during this entire time grasped the coiled bit of wood from the waist. Giving it a quick, sharp shake it unfurled into what was obviously a bow. The two ends seemed to spit at each other, creating a pure white bow string.
Quickly, the leather clad figure made a grasping gesture at the bows handle and suddenly thin arrows were held between fingers as the string was pulled back. Letting go over 50 arrows hit the secret service members, killing them instantly.
Sighing, the Prince seemed to lament at the waste of life.
