《I am a tree》From where

I was still a distance away from the new plants that appeared, looking at the meteors then the plants... space plants? Once I was very close to the meteors, there were some shallow and large holes on them. Looking around, I found a small oval shape inside one of the deep holes. So they really were on the meteors... they survived the freezing temperatures of space and the burning of flames. Was this normal in this world? I haven't actually seen anything plant related burn, maybe I should test this with the other plants... my knowledge of plants seem lacking now.
I guess I'll organize this stuff first, I gather up some meteors and mold it with magic, there a large square container with three by three square holes was made. I could mold anything I wanted, but the cost of magic changed with material; though it didn't matter to me. I found five different types of seed in a hour, I excavated the seed by turning the meteors into smooth cubes while checking for different material then the seeds popped out. I use magic to make a transparent hand to carry the seeds so it wouldn't fall onto the ground and grow. The magic I'm using is basically the same as my barrier, it felt as a much more accomplished method. I don't know the principles to it, but I'll just use it if I can.
The collecting went on for five more hours when it became dark... I had finally changed all the meteors into cubes and the seeds were organized by appearance. I lost track of the amount of meteors after eight hundred. There were plenty fragments of meteors that didn't hit my barrier scattered. Gathering the fragments in my now increased domain was a tedious task. I had extended down the hill onto the wasteland to get the meteors, now it was around seven miles in diameter? I was never good with measurements, but it seems like it. The extended domain made me go through so much land... on the second hour I had Barbra help me out, I told her if she did really well, I would un-ground her sooner.

My view was on the seeds; I'm by myself since Barbra didn't have an interest in them and went back into the tree. The end result was 10 seeds! However, I didn't need to make a large change to my large seed container because there was only one type of a unique seed. So with that, I just made a small compartment on the side to hold the special seed. The seed was a golden color with some shine, but it was probably not gold... I thought it was gold shaped like a two inch seed, but when I tried to mold the seed, it didn't change. I can't mold any living thing even if they're dormant so the seed was real.
I'll move on to the golden seed later, but first I'll test the first seed I had gathered the most of, it was a red seed with a hint of green on the sides. I was sending my magic towards the seed, but then it started to suddenly shake, no all the seeds were shaking including the ones in the other departments. As if a strong gravity was pulling on them, the seeds broke through the wallls and gathered towards where my magic was. My magic was probably the catalyst as I had stopped using it a while ago, yet the seeds were bunched up in a sphere and floating. The last seed quickly made its way to the sphere of thousands of seeds. When that happened, I saw something with a golden light shining heading towards the sphere, the golden seed...
The golden seed was slowly moving without accelerating nor decelerating, when it got close to the sphere, a circular tunnel opened up for it and it entered. Once it went through, the hole closed, for a few seconds, nothing changed. That was only for a few seconds when the seeds begun to merge with each other, I was a good distance away but still saw it happen. The merged seeds then had a golden color spread from many regions of it while it continued to merge until the whole mass was a singular, gigantic... seed. The seed was around four feet thick and slowly gained a shine you could see a blurry reflection in. As if it was satisfied, the seed dropped down but then... I caught it. I brought it up closer to my vision so I could observe it better before it went ahead on got itself planted.

The seed seemed to have a will of its own as it rolled out of my hands then quickly touched the soil. I couldn't catch it again because it mysteriously accelerated to fast. The golden seed immediately upon touching the ground sunk into the dirt and was covered up. Well... I guess I'll see what it becomes... I could stop it from being planted in my domain, but it would become busted up and useless. I tried it on other seeds to make sure not just any seed could be planted into my domain without me being able to control it. Soon enough, the ground had started to shake and what looked like three giant vines twisted around each other then shot up. Did I perhaps get my hands on magic seeds without having to sell my cow?
The vines luckily stopped at 30 feet putting an end to my suspicions. It was something like a... bean stalk. Giant leaves hanged on the sides of the vines and one last golden leaf was at the top, sort of like a Christmas tree. Well... I'm a little surprised because it's more than half my current height. Looking back at my body, I could clearly see it growing slowly, maybe from the other seeds which didn't get merged. There were more planted seeds than collected seeds; it's probably because the water I used to cool the meteors down made seeds most likely stuck in the shallow holes slide off. This all meant that around the edges of my domain were maybe ten thousands of mysterious plants. While continuing my inner monologue, I heard a voice that wasn't Barbra's or the elves...
┤Are you the holder of this land?├
◄...Yes, and you are...?►
I hesitated a little in responding since I wondered if the same method I used with Barbra would work. I just went with it because it's better than doing nothing. The voice speaks once more...
┤Okay, provide me with water and your magic ever day.├
Uh, what is this voice saying... he didn't even answer my question. I'll try again.
◄Er, could I know what you are?►
┤Can you not see my greatness? I am the world stalk! Now quickly do your duties you measly magic tree.├
That was one word off, but this guy is awfully full of himself. So thi guy was the bea- I mean world stalk. Well, I'll give it one more chance, its three strikes out after all.
◄Why do I need to do wha-►
┤Fine! I'll just take it myself!├
Saying so, the stalk's leaves detach and a new one regrows in its place. The detached leaves float in the air in front of the stalk spinning around like a drill before flying towards my body...

The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody
[participant in the 2018 NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody is a LitRPG system story where each person transitions into the system, or SCHEMA as this system is known, innocent and unaware of his former life. Following the tutorial, memories return, but by this point, each person has a better chance of accepting their new world. It also gives them an opportunity to start from scratch, fresh without all the baggage of their former lives dictating their decisions in the early stages of the process. I don’t expect this will necessarily turn into an action-packed heroic tale, my intent is to create a character who wants to have just an ordinary, but reasonably comfortable life. I don’t know myself how well he will succeed, there may be twists and Tom may discover some heroism hidden deep inside. I guess we’ll find out together. This is my first writing attempt. I’ve wanted to write all my life, but I’ve never been able to develop the proper discipline to put in the work. I hope I complete the challenge and work my way past this hump. I am writing this as part of the NaNoWriMo Royal Road Challenge. While I will try to self-edit as I go, the challenge requires close to 2,000 words a day, so parts of the story may be rough, and things like plot lines may not make as much sense as any of us would like. If all goes well, and I complete the challenge, I plan on going back through everything and trying to polish it up. In the meanwhile, thank you for reading and I hope I don’t disappoint.

This statement has never been truer for Damis, a student attending one of the many schools in the City of Sundridge. He never wanted anything more than to live a peaceful life, going so far as to avoid having large group of friends, indulging in dragged out conversations, or being involved in any other activity that requires him to invest a large amount of effort to accomplish. Instead, he poured all of his efforts into studying, dwelling in his internal monologues, and complaining about the things that annoy him to his one and only friend, Noah. Before long, he ended up as one of the best students in his class. As far as he was concerned, he was content with how he lived. But, after a confrontation with an eccentric girl named May, one of his classmates since the first year of high school, things have suddenly gotten out of hand. And as a result, his life became a lot more hectic than it used to be. Bound by a deal he could not refuse, his life as May's assistant began. At this rate, can he still spend the final days of his high school life in peace? Welcome to the life of Damis, the boy who's always A Step Behind Death. The cover art is made by friend of mine.
