《I am a tree》Strike

Sss... the leaves suddenly burn before reaching my body. I used magic to create fire where the leaves were... basically a big wall of fire since I was bad at aiming. I didn't use the barrier because using fire seemed to be more intimidating. Once the flames burned out the leaves, I saw the stalk once again.
◄That was your last chance... get off my domain.►
I told the stalk that then the soil around it started to rumble. It started to grow... no it was just rising up. Below the stalk, there was a pillar of dirt slowly coming out of the ground and I could see the roots of it. Just before the roots were able to fully separate from the ground, the roots were already connected to the soil was tightened and the roots that had been pulled out slowly moved towards the ground. The stalk's vines from the top un-twisted and spread equally apart with it facing me. Light began to gather within the center of the three vines, but I wouldn't let it do whatever its doing happen.
Fwoo-Snap! The three vines without being twisted this time clamped together. I was using the barrier magic to hold it together; this magic really has a lot of uses. I held it for a while but then I noticed something was wrong, the stalk's vines had stopped struggling. It was strange so I looked around and saw many small red drills and green saws with various other things heading towards my body! The projectiles were already to close...
[It looks like you were slacking master.]
The small projectiles were swept away with what seemed like a powerful gust of wind. A sphere of white exited the tree and transformed into a fairy.
◄Thank you Barbra.►

[I don't need that, I just didn't want my house to be damaged.]
◄You'll get your magic privileges back after this.►
[Really? Thank you master!]
Okay, I got a team mate now. I look around to see where the projectiles were shot from and noticed the plants on the edge of my domain were different. The stems and bud were still there, but the petals were missing. Did the stalk really just attack me with... flower petals? Well, it probably can't use magic like me because this isn't its domain... if it works the same way with it. This is my first time fighting, but I already thought of they day I would get into one, so I tell Barbra...
◄Trap all those plants around the edge of the domain without killing them. I'll let you use five percent of my magic and your allowance will be one whole percent if you do good.►
[Yes master!]
Now that I don't have to worry about the plants using a kamikaze on me, I face towards the stalk once more. I never let go of its vines so it had started to struggle once more while I was looking away. I gave up on raising the pillar of dirt because it was taking too long; I gave up on going easy. This stalk is probably able to survive easily elsewhere, this means that if I just kick it out then it might get me back. The only met-method I have is to... k-kill it. Calm... Calm down... I have never killed anyone before, if this was in my previous life, I probably wouldn't mind killing the stalk... but I am also a plant, isn't this be the equivalent to killing humans in previous life? Why am I feeling this unnatural sympathy for this plant I've never met... that is... the first one I met who's like me; a conscious plant.

◄Leave now and never come back again. You'll be able to live.►
┤You... do you think you're my superior?! You magic trees are the weakest of us all!├
◄This tree is going to let you live!►
┤You can't even defeat me! Why else have you been using those weak attacks?├
◄............ Fine.►
This stalk is someone I would never be able to along with... Hundreds of fire balls burst to life in front of my vision, each burning a bright blue. I send them flying towards the stalk that was still trapped by my barrier then... Bang! A fiery blue inferno raged on to the stalk. Multiple burn marks were made onto the body and the leaves on its sides were turned into ashes. Soon, the blue flames had stopped, but the stalk still remained standing with plenty of burns left behind. There was a golden glow coming from the vines I trapped, it came from the gold leaf that was on the top. I release the barrier because the stalk looked to tired to attack now, then I heard the stalk's voice...
┤A measly magic tree... it seems you used all your magic in that attack... you're done for!├
Its vines spread open once more then it revealed a bright ball of light in the center. A stream of light was shot at my body... Klang! The light had hit my barrier then disappeared. It wasted the chance I had given... once again, hundreds of bright blue fire balls burst into existence... then I shot them in the direction of the stalk. I ignored all the pleas the stalk started to make to me. It doesn't matter anyways... it's over already. A blue inferno of flames raged once more leaving a large scorch mark in the ground where the stalk had stood.
I... did it. Looking at where the stalk was, a golden leaf slowly glided towards the ground. I watched it hit the ground, as if it was waiting to touch the ground, the leaf rolled up towards its center until it became a small oval shape of around a inch tall; it became a seed. Slowly it was buried under soil and out sprouted a green stem of around one foot with one golden leaf at the top.
I waited for a while looking at the newly made sapling. After confirming that it wasn't going to do anything anytime soon, I relaxed. I see Barbra trying her best to block the plants even though the fight was over.
◄Barbra... You can stop now.►
[Did I do a good job master?]
◄Yes, you get one percent of my magic as an allowance now.►
I look towards the sapling, it only lasted a little over 10 minutes stalk. The sun was still in the sky. Barbra is dancing around the sky finally getting to use magic in addition with an increase in her allowance. My view was on the elves bowing towards my body with Stanford preaching about how I defeated the malicious one. I finally look at myself; I had stopped growing from the plants and ended up at around 80 feet. Am I the only one phased by what happened?

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]
