Long Tian and Shen landed near a small and simple wooden building. It was built in a small clearing and there was a set of stone table and chairs in front of the house. There was another similar small house next to the first one. Shen wondered if there might be more than one person living here but he had no thoughts to ask.

“Please take a seat, Brother Shen.” Long Tian sat down on one of the chairs around the table as he gestured to Shen.

With a wave of his hands, a bowl of fruits that emanated spiritual power and two cups with a bottle of wine appeared on the table.

Shen found this rather novel as he wondered whether Long Tian had also known how to manipulate space.

Long Tian poured two cups of wine before giving one to Shen. “Brother Shen, please.”

Shen had never drunk wine before therefore he was very curious. Unknown to Shen, this was a personally brewed immortal wine by the Heavenly Dragon Immortal King that would cause even Sect Masters of various large sects would fight for. The wine could even help low level cultivators to breakthrough as it contained a lot of spiritual power.

“Good wine!” Shen exclaimed as he drank the whole cup in delight. His speech had gotten a lot smoother than before as he conversed with Long Tian.

“Haha, I’m glad Brother Shen likes my wine!” Long Tian poured another cup for Shen.

Long Tian started imparting Shen with the knowledge of the human world as well as the cultivation system on this planet as they drank and ate.

A mortal with opened meridians could take in the energies of heaven and earth to cultivate and enhance their strength and life span. The mutated energy of the universe that Shen referred to was known as the energies of heaven and earth, more commonly called spiritual power.

The levels of cultivation went from Qi Condensation, Foundation Building, Core Formation, Nascent Soul, Soul Formation, False Immortal, Earth Immortal, Sky Immortal, True Immortal and Immortal King. It was said that if a cultivator breaks through the Immortal King stage, one would be referred to as an Immortal Saint. An Immortal Saint would be capable to escaping the confines of the heavens and able to wonder the void to search for higher worlds.

A cultivator who had reached the Immortal King stage would be bestowed a title and would be famous across the land. Long Tian was however too embarrassed to mention his title as Shen was much stronger than him.

Being an Immortal King, Long Tian had travelled far and wide and was knowledgeable about the various sects and large powers across the land. Long Tian proceeded to tell Shen about the characteristics of those sects and famous families as well as well-known rogue cultivators.

“Brother Long, do not worry. I’m only here to sight see and experience the world. Not to cause trouble.” Shen had guessed Long Tian’s intentions thus he assured him. He was well aware of his frankness and was likely to get in conflict with those cultivators upon contact.

Long Tian could only smile wryly as he thought inwardly ‘I’m not worried about you causing trouble. It’s those humans who are concerned about face. Ha….’

He gave a long sigh in his heart as he could only hope for the best.

As they chatted over wine and snacks, Long Tian and Shen both looked up towards the sky. A small white figure was flying towards the clearing. Long Tian had a smile on his face as the white figure had landed near them.

Shen saw a young girl dressed in a pure white robe walking towards them. There was a small white fox being held in the ample bosom of the young girl, who stared at Shen with its large eyes.

Shen thought the girl was rather beautiful even compared to the most beautiful women from all over the universe that he had seen over the ages.

“Xue’er! Come meet our guest. This is Brother Shen, a friend passing through here that I met by chance.”

Long Tian introduced his daughter Long Xue’er and Shen.

“Hello, young lady.” Shen gave a polite smile towards the young girl.

“Hello Uncle Shen.” Xue’er replied in a small voice towards Shen before sitting down next to her father.

Long Tian blanked for a while before thinking ‘Well it’s not like she can address him as Brother Shen.’ He shook his head bitterly.

Shen’s face was not particularly handsome. His transformation had above average looks and that seemed to be about twenty years old.

Long Xue’er was eighteen years old therefore it seemed awkward to be calling Uncle.

“Brother Shen, can you tell me what it is like outside this planet. I have given up trying to break through the current boundary so I likely won’t be able to venture out into the void in my life time.” Long Tian eagerly asked Shen.

Even though Long Tian had the title Immortal King, he was not truly immortal as his life would come to an end one day, unless he broke through to the legendary Immortal Saint.

Long Xue’er sat quietly listening to her father and Shen speak while feeding the small white fox with immortal fruit. She was extremely surprised to discover that Shen was not from this world. She curiously peeked at Shen from time to time as if trying to figure out his secrets.

Long Xue’er rarely had any contact with the outside world ever since she was born. She lived in this desolate forest with magical beasts. She had been to the human world with her father a few times when she was younger but it was not long each time. Therefore, she dreamed to have her own adventure in the human world. However, ever since she was sixteen years old, her father had forbidden her from going to the human world.

She was not aware of her own beauty. It was devastating enough to make those sons of heaven and second generation young masters crazy and start a large war in the cultivation world. Long Tian can only keep her in the forest until she was strong enough to go out on her own.

Shen had told Long Tian some information about the many races and species throughout the universe.

“Brother Long, I’ll be frank. There are very few races that could survive in the void without any external protection. A lot of space travellers use ships to survive in the void. If you wish, I can gift you such a ship.

Your strength is one of the strongest that I have seen without external tools. You would most likely only lose to Star Beasts.”

Long Tian was stunned for a long while. “Brother Shen, I appreciate the thought, but I want to obtain that power by my own strength.” Long Tian pursued ultimate strength. After knowing about the Star Beasts, the pride of a Gold Dragon was ignited and he longed for strength even more.
