Pyro POV

Let me tell you this... Adeliza is AWESOME!!! Too bad she drifted off to dreamland on third mug, well more for me. By the way, I met a few dwarfs in this city, they were not slaves, but owners of 'Flumen Dei Spiritus', or 'River of Booze' in elfish, while in dwarfish it would be something like 'Fluss der Geister'. Funny bunch those mountain dwarfs, however owner passed after fifteenth mug, only his daughter, whom I mistook as son by the way because she had quite a beard, didn't participate. Oh and their family name is 'Schnabelbart', mainly of their family business.

By the way I managed to buy few kegs of this 'juice', 32 kegs actually, which was everything they had in stock. One keg was opened immediately from where we drank, with the mugs generously provided by Dieter, that's the name of the owner by the way, while the name of his daughter is Los.

After that I, along with Lilith, brought her mother home, after which I headed back to the inn where heroes stay.

That happened yesterday and now it was a bright tomorrow filled with lemon-orange soda, weakly carbonized, and chicken as soon as I get downstairs. Too bad I will travel back to the capital today, hope there is also kulpo juice, if not I will order through queen. I know what you are thinking, but she owes me.

That was good stuff, now to the annoying one. Status is still not working, nor can I access system functions except for Bianca.

After I entered the dinner hall I was met by heroes and their companions.

JJ: “My sword is strong, my goal is just, so give me the power to vanquish evil!” and he tried to kick me, which resulted in a broken table and concussion on his part.

Pyro: “Seriously? Don't tell your enemy that you are going to attack him.” Moron. Why does he act like that?

BDL: “He's actually quite angry at you as you finished the quest, not him.” intolerable egomaniac.

The breakfast was gone quite fast and it was time for us to travel back. Why don't they have teleportation arrays? Would be much better than those annoying carriages.

While we were traveling I told them a few stories of my past life, mostly stories where I worked with 'Rhinos' as they were mercs, not assassins. The stories were about zombie plague, civil war in new Greece and the hunt on Chupacabra, which was actually just oversized rat, albeit slightly mutated. Why hunt the Chu-chus? Well they were like very annoying pests, and we got a contract, was quite easy by the way, we just burned the forest in Vietnam where those pests nested. Yes it was not in South America, like most stories told. My guess is that some moron captured it and decided to experiment on it, resulting in quite aggressive and oversized vampire rat, which bred even faster.

After a few weeks we finally were back. Oh and the most fun stuff is that capital is not far from miasma territories.

After we entered the castle we were cheered upon as the heroes subjugated their first demon. Why does they act like that anyway? It's like they were either paid or brainwashed.

King: “And as the additional reward to the leader of heroes, I, King Gustav the XII, hereby declare the engagement between my daughter and hero Elizabeth.” wait what? Who? Is she a lesbo?

JJ: “I'm honored your majesty.” wait that moron is leader?

Pyro: “Hey king, he's not a leader.” and everyone fell silent.

Princess: “But he will be-”

Pyro: “OK. Let's vote, who will follow JJ?” and... silence. “Come on, no one?”

King: “Who's JJ?”

Pyro: “That Justice Jerk Elizabeth. Who from heroes will follow him?” and silence. “Hey guys, well ladies too, you won't follow him?”

BDL: “Nope, he's moron and could have killed us on the mission if we couldn't knock him out in time.” and... crowd laughed, while heroes had approving grunts.

Pyro: “See, JJ is not suited to be a leader.”

Princess: “Who will be the leader then? You?” she's quite angry.

Pyro: “Nope, she will be. I have small squad already.” and I pointed at BDL. Hey don't judge me. She's quite good at all that leader stuff.

Princess: “...” she's fuming with anger. I knew I should kill her. Those pricks always look at the profit.

Pyro: “Besides if you want you two to be engaged, why not say so? But if you wish to make him look good when he's not, I will not help your cause.” by the way, my standing with that bithc is now highly negative. I really hate that useless sack of meat.

It happened a week after I cured her mother. She was chatting with other nobles, made some promises, acted like a dignified being. And told them that JJ is the strongest of heroes. It ended in me asking how did she get that info, and she told me that it was the light incident. After that I laughed for some time before telling them that it was few royal magicians who made it, as they trained hero. Nobles laughed at my statement, but after they saw my face, they stopped.

Princess: “Don't you have manners Kuro? I was talking with the nobles of my kingdom and you barged into our conversation.”

Pyro: “When you lie, please check if there is no one nearby who knows the truth.”

Princess: “Like you are the strongest? Right, you are just some-” I froze the entire room after that exclamation.

Pyro: “I cured queen, I helped your family against rebellion. Now you tell nobles that JJ is stronger than me? Organize duel and make all the nobles attend it. If you want we can also bid on the outcome.”

Princess: “Yes, you two will fight the strongest warriors of our-”

Pyro: “Nope, each other.”

Outcome? She rejected.

Now it's time to play some of my cards.

Pyro: “Seeing as you didn't get it last time I will tell you again. If you lie, don't do it in the presence of those who know the truth.” The queen is currently on some diplomatic mission and will be back in a few month I think.

Princess: “It's you who lie and I will prove it.”

Pyro: “OK! It's official. Princess just issued a duel. Everyone heard that?”

Princess: “As the princess I won't enter the duel, but I will choose my champion.”

Pyro: “Seeing as you so dot on 'hero' Elizabeth, why not make him your champion? Everyone will know if he's the one you describe him to be.” now wait a bit before...

Princess: “As a hero-”

Pyro: “We are both summoned, so we are both heroes as you call it. No escape this time princess.”

Princess: “By the royal decree-”

Pyro: “Royal decree can't be used on heroes, as they are not your subjects.”

Princess: “Your lands are-”

Pyro: “We were not given lands yet, and when we will be they will be considered separate Dukedoms.” yep, I read about it in the library.

Princess: “It will mean that you are declaring war on-”

Pyro: “Nope, you see the one who is declaring war is you, fucking warmonger. I am just defending my rights.”

Princess: “WHO CARES ABOUT SOME PLEBEIAN?!” hmm.... it was faster than I anticipated.

Pyro: “Citizens of this country, your so called 'Princess' is acting as a scum. Finally she showed her true colors as the one who don't care about the people unless it's useful to her in some way.”

JJ: “How do you address your future queen?” Really? Didn't he get it?

Pyro: “She is not queen, nor we will be her subjects. She's just spoiled brat like you.”

JJ: “As the hero I will protect the ladies honor! I accept the duel!”

Pyro: “Fine. Tomorrow, noon, Arena. We will fight.”

Princess: “It's not ava-”

Pyro: “THEN FUCKING MAKE IT AVAILABLE!!! Else you are on your own with the demon problems, as it will be the breach of contract.”

Princess: “Breach? What breach? What contract?”

Pyro: “The contract your father and me established.”

Princess: “Who cares about it?” and king tries to calm her down.

King: “Daughter, if you act like that, we will lose the support of people.”

Princess: “Who cares?”

King: “It includes traders and other countries.”

Pyro: “The contract clearly states that in case of making obstacles for the hero's progress, the hero will be allowed to scrap the contract without any consequences to the hero and his aid.” few papers, but they are contract.

Princess: “And what will you do? You only got like 10'000 gold. It's not worth a shit.” so they decided to be greedy. Screw that. I will steal all of their gold.

Pyro: “Hey guys. That is clearly a breach. According to contract we will be compensated according to the difficulty of the mission. The missions of SSS rank as stated in the contract have starting sum of 3 million and higher. 10'000 was the initial investment, along with the slave we chose. If you don't want to act according to contract, heroes will be able to act as they wish, without support of country, but also without the obligations to said country.”

Princess: “You... you won't ignore the needs of people!” and booing from the crowd.

Pyro: “Remember your words? 'WHO CARES ABOUT SOME PLEBEIAN?!'?”

King: “I know my daughter overreacted-”

Pyro: “It was fun trolling you guys, but you breached the contract when you appointed 'leader' without our consent. We are no longer obliged to help your kingdom.” YES!!! It will end soon.

King: “You won't-”

Pyro: “Hey I cured the queen, so she can take care of all that shit you poured on yourself, either by bathing you or by throwing you out.” now that I think about it, maybe it was the princess who poisoned her mother?

Princess: “Hah, you didn't cure her. She was-”

Queen: “He didn't do what daughter?” um... she's back?

Princess: “Mother, he called-”

Pyro: “She is a liar and she interferes with the duel she established between me and her so called fiancé. Oh and she breached contract.”

Queen: “She has no authority to act as a representative of the kingdom.”

Pyro: “But she acted like that, going as far as trying to use royal decree.”

Queen: “Royal decree can't be used against heroes.”

Pyro: “That's why I said tried. Anyway can you reserve arena for tomorrow? Well admit some citizens and all the nobles that currently in capital? There should've been meeting today between nobles, so most of them should be in the capital.”

Queen: “Sure. Now if you excuse me, I'm quite tired after the travel.” uh... and my idea of slacking off won't work. Uh...

Pyro: “JJ, if you won't come tomorrow you will be considered a liar and therefore 'false hero', so you better be there tomorrow.” hmm... I think he has fallen asleep. Whatever. I will teach him a lesson tomorrow.

Evening. Finally. Rest... I hoped so. But no, the feast, nobles, etc. At least I made the princess look bad as well as her fiancé. They weren't on this meeting, well I wouldn't mind if they were like...

Wait... somehow it looks like that hero who got a shield and was looked down upon... good thing I don't stick to specific weapon, so I can easily attack anyone. Oh I know! I need a giant rooster, or chicken, you know, for the mount?

Pyro: “Why are they so weak to this juice? It's tasty.” and I continued drinking from mug. Yes I know that it's royal gathering, but hell, I won't drink from those 0.1 L glasses.

Servant: “Sir is it... kulpo?”

Pyro: “Yep. Good thing. Want some?”

Servant: “Sorry sir, but how can you drink it?”

Pyro: “It is tasty.”

Servant: “How can you drink so much and not become intoxicated?”

Pyro: “Dunno.”

*4 to Health regeneration, can regenerate lost limbs and organs.

*5 to stamina and stamina regeneration. No need for the second wind.

Tough Skin

Your skin is much tougher resulting in higher natural defense and *1,5 health.

Archmage

No more mana waste. Reduces amount of mana needed for skills and masteries by half.

Magic Blood

*2 to mana capacity *3 mana regeneration.

Psyker

Your mind powers increased to the point of where you can use your powers without the excess need of concentration. Reduced mana usage by 75%, increases effects by 20% and you will no longer be vulnerable while using your powers.

Illusionist

Your Illusions can become real. In exchange of increased mana cost you can manifest your illusions, albeit temporarily, in the world.

Harbringer

Every living being has essence, and you now can extract the essence from them.

Vampiric Origin

Blood is filled with life force, and now you can take the life force from blood increasing your own health. No need for the drinking it, unless you wish it.

Void Walker

Void, Space, Time, those are the origin of universe. Now you are more resistant to those elements and gain more power while wielding them. Don't look too long into the Abyss though.

Overlord

Your will is much stronger than of those pathetic weaklings, if opponent have much lesser willpower than your charisma it can become your servant. Charisma of other beings have much weaker effect on you.

Twisted Genius

Gain additional point in mental attributes when increasing them via points, they are easier to increase via natural methods, but cost to increase charisma *5.

Parallel processing

You gain another personality which can work on a task.

System Assistant will have access to more information.

System Enhanced Assistant

System Assistant will be able to provide help outside of System Menu.

Prodigy

Faster to learn new masteries and reduced experience threshold by 10%, while increasing experience gained by 2.

You can change the shape of your body. Can't change it completely, nor create something entirely new. Costs stamina and to a lesser degree health.

When your health drops to 10% your stats increase tenfold (*10) allowing you to either fight or flee. Fleeing isn't considered defeat, but tactical retreat.

Fleet Footed

Increase movement speed by 10%.

Oh and my Polymath class has increases to attributes every level after 15.
