Alex POV

A month and a half had passed since the attack and now I'm practically tired, I've already achieve my goal of opening a coffee shop and I would've laid low if it wasn't for Athena pestering me about the company

The company was just a means to an end for me but it seems like Athena doesn't think the same way, ever since talking to Shuri she's been really motivated to build the company successfully, I don't know why but it seems to be related to some bet they just made awhile ago

Thankfully, The company's legal procedure are finally done and now it's entering the building phase, as for the location we set it up near the the spot where the avengers facility will be built in the future

The Building will be the most technologically advance building in the entire world before the Avengers tower and it will be powered by volatile promethium; it can generate limitless energy (it's counter part the depleted Promethium was said to be so strong that even superman has a hard time breaking it) but there is a downside to this

First, It seems like I can only create a thumb size volatile Promethium per year, I successfully created two of them but the cause was not worth it because I was comatose for four whole days and a massive headache followed after I woke up

Second, The Promethium metal is dangerous because it activates a human mutagen just by being near it, mutating a person in the process

In order to counter the radiation it produce, it will be incase in a proto-adamantium casing and will only be use to power the building via underground and the ship, which will be use for space exploration in the future

The creation of the building started in august and will be finish by January, The worker drones will be use to build it and they'll be covered by a wide range holographic projector to disguise the building's construction, the SHIELD will surely notice but it will also help advertise our tech, forging our way into the market

The only problem now is how to convince Ms. Frost to become my very own Pepper Pots, I'm going to meet her next week and hopefully everything will go according to plan

Third Person POV

New York Police Department

"Captain, this is the 15th time this month" said a police officer who handed Captain George Stacy the papers containing the info they got about the criminals

"For the last month, 312 men who were working for the criminal syndicate, got taken out by an unknown assailant along with evidence enough to ensure that the criminals will rot in jail" Captain George Stacy said to the twelve police men who are infront of him

A Police Officer replied "Sir according to the various testimonies gathered by our men, they admitted that something like a ninja took them out, some say it's work of 12 foot man who can throw a grown man like a ragdoll and other says ridiculous stuff like a monster of the night who has blood red eyes attack them, they said it was like a predator hunting them in the middle of the night"

Another follow up and said "the only plausible description with lil BS is that, the one who attack them is possibly a man, wearing a metalic armor similar to the knights of old but much more hightech, blood red eyes and an insignia of this" the police man showed a drawing of what it seems like a blood red Bat logo

He then added "It seems like all of them were attack by a man that wears the Insignia of a Bat, almost everyone admit to seeing a Blood red Bat logo on the persons chest"

"Hmm...how bout' the various CCTV's on the area? Did you get something?" Captain Stacy ask

"No, it seems like all cctv in a km radious was shutdown for some reason, although we do got this picture taken on one of the shop a km away from the area" the police man showed a picture of what seems like a silhouette of a car covered in shadows, he added " it seems like this vehicle corresponds to the vehicle we just saw last time, where we arrested a bunch of thugs in an alleyway in midtown manhattan"

"Hmm...and how are the men who were hospitalized?" Captain Stacy ask

"Almost half of the total number of criminal we got are crippled for life, some had their arms cut off and some others have broken bones but surprisingly no one died" a police man replied "also our inside man in the underworld said that a bunch of criminals are leaving the city in fear and a bunch of them got so terrified that they turned a new leaf, they dubb the man "The Dark Knight" but mostly the criminals just calls him BloodBaT, because of his cruel method"

"Surprisingly this attack weren't just random, it seems like this Dark Knight seems to be targetting Strategic points, such as warehouses full of illegal weaponry and dealers who transport illegal weapons on and off the city, effectively cutting the crime rate by a large percent" a police woman said

"Hmm..looks like a work of vigilante to me" a police man said skeptically

"Then if possible if we make contact with this Dark Knight, I want all of you to bring him in for questioning, vigilantism is still a crime even if it's helping the society" Captain Stacy said to his men who nodded in reply "okay then this meeting is dismiss"

One by one the police men and women got out of the conference room leaving Captain Stacy staring at The Bat logo

"Things are starting to change"
