Natasha's POV

The shopping with Alex was fun and informative, back at the cafe he was pretty laid back, but during our shopping spree his demeanor change, his back straightened, his steps became calculated and he gave off the vibe of a predator out of his territory, always expecting an attack everytime we turned a corner

To an untrained eye, he looks normal but to a high caliber Agent like me and Barton, the guy's a red flag

I pick up my phone and dialed Fury for my report

"Director"

"Agent Romanof I hope you had fun because I needed that report now" Nick said

"That man's good Nick, His moves were calculated and I think he suspect something from me" that's also what I notice he seems to be wary of me "He also suspect some things, did you get Barton to follow me? Cause if it is then I think his compromise"

"That's a bold claim Romanof are sure?" Nick ask for my confirmation which I nodded at him and said "The signs were there at the beginning he keeps sending subtle looks at the buildings but after a short while, as if he saw something he tense out"

"Then that's more reason to get him to join SHIELD, anything else?" Ask Nick

"Yes, there was another thing I think his carrying a wrist mounted blade earlier but I don't think it's made of metal because we pass through several Metal Detector in the mall but none of them were triggered, one peculiar thing also are his clothes, I don't think it was made of silk or anything we knew of, I'm not sure" Nick was surprise for a moment because it took a while for him to respond

"If that so, then we are dealing with a paranoid man here, beware of those blade of his because I wouldn't be even surprised if they were laced with poison" Nick said "Update us on the site, so we can bug the restaurant and I'll try to meet him myself after your dinner"

A message from Alex came and it has the name of the restaurant "Taste of Rome"

"Shit" I muttered

"What is it Romanof?" Ask Nick, In which I replied "It's Alex and he just send me the name of the restaurant"

"And? What's the problem?" He ask

"It's the restaurant itself, 'Taste of Rome' a pretty Classy Restaurant catered to serve for VIP's"

"Motherfucker! A UN official is going to be their tonight along with a UK ambassador, we can't just get in on this easily" said Nick, he thought for a while then added "I'll try pulling some strings with some of my Old war buddies to try and insert a few Agents in but its going to be problematic"

"Right, I'll try and do what I do best and gather as much as information I can" I replied to Nick

"We will contact you again right before your dinner goodluck" said Nick as he cut the call off

I was just quietly staring at the ceiling as I lied on my bed and said "He really one up Fury tonight"

Alex's POV

I'm currently wearing my vibranium weave suit and now waiting for Natasha infront of her apartment

After a minute of waiting she came out wearing the red dress we just bought earlier and I must say with just a few touch of make up she became even more beautiful

I approach her with a bouquet of flowers and said "your very lovely tonight Ms. Natalia, This flower may not be as beautiful as you are but I do hope it is to your liking"

"Etiquette lesson from being a prince + a bunch of books about flirting downloaded directly to your brain = a panty dropping Alexander Achilles 2.0" Athena quip

"Shut up! Your embarrassing me, and where the fuck did you learn those kinds of word?!" This kid going to be the death of me

"Reddit"

"Fuck I should have limited your browsing on that site"

Natasha seems shock for a bit when she laid her eyes on me but she manage to compose her self and said

"I'm impress you look much more refined when wearing a suit" said Natasha "and a charmer as well, quite the change in demeanor Mr. Alex"

I smiled at her and replied "I aim to please Ms. Natalia, Now shall we get going?"

"Yes please"

I brought with me one of my favorite car; a customized Bugatti Veyron 16.4, it is fueled with Arc reactor Tech, the windshield has AR tech on it which can do pretty much the same as my hemet on DK suit and lastly its body is covered with 2 layers of graphene making it bulletproof

Not much compared to the batmobile but for a fancy date like this? This will do pretty well

We got into the car and drove to the restaurant

Natasha's POV

When I got out of my apartment earlier, I was shock to see Alex there in an all black suit, I'm not going to lie but I can't help but admire at how handsome he is

"Shit Natasha that's your date?, that's John motherfucking Wick right there and look at that car! Damn Natasha!" Said Clint on the earpiece

Can't really blame him, even just looking at him right now, I can't help but expect him to pull out a gun and started shooting at everyone

After a short drive we arrive at the restaurant; he got out and open the door for me

"My Lady" he smiled and offer his hand, I took it and got out of the car

I said a Thank you at him as a Valet driver took the car to the parking lot, we took the elevator and proceeded to go up

We arrive at the top floor of the building and a receptionist welcomed us, I can see he really has such an effect on any woman as the receptionist blush at his handsome face

"Names for the reservations?"

"Alexander Achilles" he replied with a smile

"Right this way please" the receptionist lead us near a window with a great view of manhattan

"Thank you" he said to the receptionist as he pulled a chair for me, which I gladly took and he sat at the opposite side of me

"Natasha, we got three Agents there one cook, one waiter and one security also be mindful that next to your table are the UN official and her guest" Clint said to my earpiece

I look to the next table and there they are, it seems like UK ambassador brought Emma Watson probably as a representative for the HeforShe womens right

'Well everything seems fine here, just be on stand by' I said to my earpiece when Alex was not paying attention

Alex POV

A waiter (Clearly an Agent) took our order as me and Natasha do small talks about our life, I ask her various questions as she also ask me how I was able to afford this place and the car

"I do have a bit of an investment Ms. Natalia and the car was gifted to me by a friend" I said to her, which she raised an eyebrow "Oh..? Then if you have this much money then why do you still busy yourself with a coffee shop?"

I smiled at her as I take a sip at my wine "The coffe shop was never really intended for profit, it just a hobby really but also its my way of remembering my mom, she really likes coffee, I use to make her one and I remember how she would always be happy when I serve her coffee"

"How sweet of you Alex" replied Natasha then added "so anyway any love of your life that I might need to compete with?"

I grow solemn for a moment as I remembered Diana, but then smiled as I replied "there was one, a beautiful star in my life that guides me everytime I'm lost, In fact she was very supportive of my Idea on the coffee shop"

"Was? Past tense? Did the two of you broke up or something?" Ask natasha

"No"

"Oh...well she seems like a very tough opponent for me, oh what should I do!" she tease and I replied the same way "hahaha.... Ms. Natalia don't tempt me"

"Please Mister Alex, you can't handle me" said Natasha with a smirk

"Oh is that a challenge Natalia- I never get to finish as Athena telepathically said to me "Father! 40 men are going to attack the restaurant basing on what I can analyze, they're wearing bulletproof vest, they also have a large caliber weapon and the way they move indicates they're trained"

I then look at my date and basing on Natasha's shock face I concur that SHIELD had already informed her

"Athena, prepare to assist" I ordered Athena in which she replied with an Affirmative

"Are there any problem Ms. Natalia?" I said to her to continue the facade

"Oh no....I just need to use a bathroom real quick" said Natash

"Okay " I gave a nod to her and it would seem like she's getting her own equipment

The waiter(agent) earlier has already informed the three women beside our table, I didn't really bother to look at them at first but now that I look closely it seems like they are one of the big Leagues, I do recognize one of them, the brunette one is Emma Watson

I reach out for a small rectangular shape device in my leg and put it down in my table

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Guns rang out outside and the next instant the restaurant was full of screams, the door open and the waiter/Agent tried to do something but was shot before he could draw a gun, A cook got out of the kitchen and tried to fight back but he was also shot down

Twenty men came in as they started yelling, telling the others to keep shut and to lay down on the floor, In which the people quickly followed

They all got down to the floor one by one, as the terrorist did a full round until they got to the three women beside me, while all that was happening I didn't even move from my seat as I was too busy making a plan in my head

One of the terrorist notice me and he move towards me with three others and shouted "hey you! Get down on the floor now!"

They threatened as they pointed their gun at me, the three women beside my table look alarmed as I decided to stand up

My perception of time slowed as one of the terrorist comes closer "I said get down!"

he tried to hit me with his gun but before he could move three steps near me a bullet embedded into his head, killing him

Everyone was shock, including the terrorist so I use that window of opportunity to jump to the nearest terrorist and delivered a kick, I took a pistol from him and smash it on his jaw knocking him out

Another sniper shot rang out, which took out two more of the terrorist

The leader of the terrorist recovered from his shock and shouted in rage

"you fucker!!"

He started shooting at my direction but I was already out of harms way, I throwed the rectangular device towards the cluster of terrorist; it was a sonic grenade and it can produce a contained frequency screech that can incapacitate a person in a two meter radius

5 terrorist goes down as I shoot two more before they can even open fire, the sniper shot out again killing 4 more

A terrorist came close to me and throws a punch directly to my face but I grab his arm and did a judo flip and slamming the man to the floor

I quickly rolled out to close the gap with one of the terrorist as I slash him in the knee, turning around I shot two terrorists taking them down and turns around again to finish the first one

The remaining three panic and decided to take a hostage but the two terrorists weren't able to do so beacuse a sniper shot had killed them before they can even move

The last one manage to grab one of the women and use her as a meat shield and started demanding

"Throw your gun down or this woman dies!" He shouted, the woman was surprisingly brave and was not even showing a hint of fear

"Okay but lets do it at the same time, I throw my gun and you release the woman" I said to the terrorist

"Fuck you! Release the gun or- he wasn't able to finish talking as a sniper shot hit him squarely in the head

The girl quickly runs away towards her other companion and I move to the five incapacitated terrorist and tie them down

I got my wrist to display a hologram feed on the outside situation, guns still echoes through out the building as I saw Natasha and 7 other more agents/security duking it out at the third floor with the remaining 20 terrorist

the three women earlier approaches me and spoke "I'm Sophia Williams from UN and this two are Emily Jones UK ambassador to the USA and Emma Watson, Thank you for saving us"

I shake her hand and replied "I'm Alexander Achilles Ex-US soldier, 5 allies are combating 20 more boogies below so I would suggest that You three and the other Guest move to the corner and hide until the battle is over"

She nodded and started ordering the guests to the side so that they can hide better

I got one of the men's rifle, and decided to guard the outside, I look towards the video feed and it seems like the terrorist are down to 14

Two squads of SWAT team are already making their way towards the shoot out, after a while, the threat was easily terminated by the SWAT so I deemed it safe now to go back inside

I gave my thanks to Athena "Athena thank you for the assist back there"

"No problem Father, It was the drones and you who did all the work" replied Athena "Also I've already ordered the drones to dismantle the site and to leave no trace behind"

"Good"

I move back inside and approach Ms. Sophia Williams, I reported the state of the outside "Ma'am the threat is already terminated and we will just have to wait for the swat to come in"

"I understand Mr. Achilles"

I nodded as the other two also approach and thanked me

"Thank you sir for saving us, how could we ever repay you" Emily Jones said

"There is no need Ma'am, I'm just doing my responsibility" I replied

"No can do Mr. There must be some other way we can repay you?" Emily insisted

"Hmm..then please do not mention to the media that I save your life" I said to Emily In which she raised an eyebrow "the media is just too troublesome"

Understanding what I was talking about she nodded her head

"Okay, I will try and avoid mentioning you" Emily promise as she joined Sophia on calming the guest

"That was really awesome back there, you were like John Wick and you even wear the same suit" Emma Watson beamed a smile at me which made me smile

"I was just doing my job Ms. Watson" I said to her

"But still you were so awesome!, the way you kick that terrorist earlier and the way you dodge those bullets was like watching John Wick all over again" we continued to talk a bit until the SWAT finally comes in and secured the place, I was questioned by them but nothing to serious as Ms. Sophia and Emily Back up my claims

After confirming my Identity they let me go and I bid the three women farewell, I decided to go outside the building to find my elusive fox date and viola! I found her on one of the ambulance

We talk for a bit as she tried to lie about how she escape in the fire exit etc. Complete BS but anyways I brought her home to her apartment and decided to retire for the night

First date in a century and a terrorist attack happened what incredible luck

Arriving home, I give an excited Rogue a recap on what happen on my date then after awhile I bid her goodnight

"I hope my stunt earlier wont comeback and bite me in the ass" I said as I began to doze off to dreamland
