“What do you call it Scavenger Hunt? Should it not be better named as Treasure hunt?”

“I like the sound of Scavenger Hunt better. I agree that for now it is more like a Treasure Hunt but when the map expands, the amount of Common Weed will increase but the Drop rate will decrease. Or at least i plan it that way. It is called Scavenger Hunt for another reason. More than half the time it is Trash Drop. you have to be lucky to get good stuff out of it. In the hidden stashes of classic RPG, not everyone of them gives Loot and most of the time it is items you won’t pick up unless you are broke.”

“Hmm, i cannot deny that logic. How far are you away from the next expansion?”

“1 Evolution Point. You have 1 day to profit from this. Go earn your forum credits. And time for me to earn some Evolution Points.”

“I will wait for the 2 hours to pass first before i do. I want to maximise my profits.”

“See you in my Dungeon then. I can’t wait for the show. By the way my Dungeon now has G+ NPC Party hunting. So if anyone dies, i am going to expand either way.”

“Dayum. Need to rush. No time to waste. Time is money. Forum Creds is more money.”

“Yes, yes, Mister brain with IQ of 60.”

Time to rake in the Profits

It was not before long that Alex arrived. He did not come alone. There was another with him. A Cleric. I guess that must be Liana.

“She must be Liana.”

“Yes. she looks Just like in real life. I did send you that visual the other time.”

‘You did not.”

*Flashbacks to that moment*

“Oh right. It was just an illusion that i was caught in. Forgot to send you the Visual of that Illusion. No matter, you see here now in the flesh.”

“Virtual flesh. I am still waiting for the wedding card.”

“Either way. Time is money. Which plant is it?”

“Make a guess? You are already looking at them.”

Looking annoyed,“Ok, i see 2 plants the one on the ground and the one growing all around it.”

“Good good i see your brain is still working. Don’t disappoint the chick next to you. Time is ticking. You have 1 hour and 56 minutes left before i turn off the extra Bonus. Drop rate.”

“What happened to the 4 minutes?”

“You spent that in your flashback. Time is ticking.”

“Time is money. I need to impress my Girl. Which plant is it then?”

“The Common one.”

“And how do i get it?”

*A low snickering can be heard echoing around the Dungeon.*

“I already gave you the hint. Put that brain you have to work.”

30 seconds later, it was a breeze for him. Wave after wave of fireballs, firewall, flameblast and other fire based attacks were flying all over the place. Not that i fault him though. He was trying to show off.

“How are you going to handle my Pitfalls?”

“I found something interesting that works against Pitfalls.”

“Oh?”

As he progressed, he took out a big black round object from his inventory.“It is quite a waste to do this but it is cheaper than a level and it comes as a bag of 100.”

I watched as he began rolling them around before him. It was not before long that the black round object reached a trap and triggered it.

“Wow that is something i did not expect to see. Just how did you get that?”

“I bought it at a coast city. It is sold at the shop for their ship cannons. It cost 50 copper per cannonball. I would not have used them if not for the increased drop rate. But it is worth it. 50 copper vs 1 trap that can cost 1 Level. I only lose the Cannonball if it triggers a trap or fall into a trap. Bullets from hand cannon does not work. This is the highly accessible item that can trigger traps without a Rogue.”

“Shit. traps are going to run out of Business soon them.”

“Not really. Some of higher level traps would not trigger. The heat sensors and mana sensors type will not trigger. This only triggers weight type traps.”

Wiping my invisible sweat, “Phew, and here i thought the developers are trying to kill the Dungeon Players.”

Quickly they proceeded from the first corridor into the first room.

Ah just to make it a Scavenger hunt, might as well plant some Common Weed in the Pitfalls too. If they end up going down to pick it up, they might see the treasure room. In the future i will be more evil and make some trap rooms too. Scratch that. Treasure room and Trap rooms both.

Leader - “ The Dungeon is rumbling. I think we are in trouble. The Dungeon must be evolving. To think that with Vennic’s death, it triggered the Evolution.”

Cleric 1 - “Should we stay or should we return and try again later? I do not wish to die from falling rocks”

Cleric 2 - “i do not think it is wise to stay.”

Mage - “I would stay. I doubt that we will die too easily as long as we can Dispel in time. Having 6 of us meant the Clerics had to handle 3 each. Now we have 5 of us and that reduces the need to keep watch that intensively. It would wear them out not as fast. As long as they are the last of us we can use the scroll to portal out anytime.”

Swordsman 2 simply shrugs his shoulders before commenting “I am new. Whatever the boss says i will go with it.”

After some contemplation, “I guess we will head back. Who knows what kind of risk we will face in this Dungeon after we step out of this room. The room that we are in is the only one that we know. The way we came in from may now be the way to the next room and the way that looks to be heading deeper in may lead us into the room that we came from. Everything is unknown. I rather not take the risk. I have lead the Party twice and lost 1 Rogue each time. After we return, someone will take over my position as the leader before we try to head into this Dungeon again. I do not think i am worthy of being a leader as of right now.”

With that the consensus was made and they left. It was a pity though. I made Pitfalls all around them with a very big opening that heads towards the Treasure Room. what a pity.

With them gone, all that were left were just those 2 lovebirds. I turn my Dungeon View towards them and the next i know was that i wanted to flip him the bird. He was holding her in his arms with a thumbs up for me.
