'Soft cotton your pathetic'
'Sorry master.. I can possess your brother to gleam information from him and he won't remember anything about it. But it seems he has gotten stronger so I will need to borrow some of your mana'
I refocus on the real world and my brother is staring at me with a weird face waving his arm in front of me. In surprise of this I role back on his bed.
“So what you doing Gilbert?”
“....”
“Going to possess me? I doubt it will work I have been practising my light and healing magic”
Light is under healing magic as I expected.
“Teach me”
He looks at me with a weird face
“What?”
“Magic teach me”
“Your possessing my brother you can't learn light magic”
“Teach me I'm your brother, I'll learn”
“....Fine but on one condition”
“Condition?”
He roles his eyes
“Rule”
“Oh what rule?”
“You must tell no one that I am teaching you and you must learn it off the first try or I am bringing you to the bishop tomorrow to be exorcised”
“ Exercise?”
“Never mind magic is easy most get it after their first try”
He grabs a knife then cuts his hand. Blood comes out and some spills onto the floor. He then puts his other hand over it and says
“Heal me by the God Aceso” (name is from Greek mythology)
Light wraps around his arm and the wound slowly goes away but to my surprise the wound appears on his other arm.
“Light healing magic is a kind of magic that transfers the injury to yourself. So healing another person actually transfers the damage from them to yourself. It does however require Mana as well to function. about 100 mana per cast. Less if you have managed to level up your light magic skills. Most light mages either put all their stat points into vitality or intelligence to heal more people. Mana can also be used as a catalyst for damage taken at the later levels of Healing. Most of the bishops lean towards that and so does the pope. Some bishops however rely on the vitality healing as it makes assassinating them much harder. Now I am going to cut your arm so be still.”

He then cuts my arm it is painful but I have felt worse in my last life. I ignore a ding that I hear and try to copy my brother. While it does work only a small portion of the wound is moved. My brother sees this and his eyes widen. They seem to widen to an impossible amount when he sees the wounds quickly repair them self from my ability Full Regeneration.
“A-a-are you an Angel? Only Angels have the ability to use both light magic and heal that fast...”
Should I bluff or not? If they find out about my ability I might get fucked over...
“I completely understand Angel sent by God”
“What are you...”(cuts me off)
“You don't want anyone to discover you so that Demons don't come and try to hunt you down”
“I'm not an Angel!”
“What you aren't? Wait I've something similar to this!”
He runs over to his desk and pulls out a book with a star that seems to be shooting across the cover. He hurriedly flips through it and then stops.
“Here it is!”
He grabs the book an shows it to me. I look at him with a confused face.
“I can't read my Brother”
“Oh its about a divine soul!”
“A Divine Soul?”
“A near perfect soul that didn't make it to heaven because it lacked a small amount of Karma. When a Divine Soul is Born they have Weird abilities for light Magic. They usually learn at breakneck speeds and are omens of good things to come! To think my brother is a Divine Soul!”
I think I can play of Being a Divine soul better then an Angel considering I am a soul from another world.
“Don't tell anyone okay brother?”
“Don't worry I won't. Because If I did the church would take you away to train you!”

“Okay. Can I go to bed now I'm tired”
And confused how the hell did this conversation turn around so quick? He takes me to bed and buts me in my cradle before I fall asleep however.
'Soft cotton?'
'Yes master?'
'Why do you have the Title whipped?'
'...'
'Soft cotton I'm not asking'
'Fine. Well the first person that I possessed was a Masochist. And the next thirty people as well... I possessed them all within 1 month and to my horror as I finished possessing each one they would be finished their “treatment”... I got the Title after a week of possessing people in that house. At the time I didn't have full control of those that I possess and well I gave them control of their bottom halves which ended in a lot of... unpleasant stuff being thrown around. To this day I fear all females'
'...Oh God that must have been horrible....'
'twas master twas'
'I'll find you a good shade wife who won't be a sadist'
'Master I don't think you'll every find a shade wife for me who can help me with my problems...'
'Do you doubt your master?'
'Honestly in nothing but that'
I then slowly try to drift off to sleep. But something is nagging at me. An hour later I realize what it is. I got a message when I was doing that healing thing with my Brother. I check up on what I got from it.

Note: Slight edits to early chapters (and removal of one chapter - previously chapter 2) have been made 2/2/21 The city, my city, had once been alive in a way that was hard to describe. Thriving, active, hopeful. Vibrant. But life, as I had come to learn, sometimes possesses only the most tenuous of grasps. Finally, in the end, it became my city - mine alone. I was, after all, the only one left. Worse, it was entirely my fault. There was red in my ledger that could never be wiped clean. Not while I still lived, anyway. This story follows Eran, a man who became the opposite of everything he had ever wanted to be; in a world where superpowers began to appear in a rare few, his lack of control over his own power relegated him to the role of a terrible villain - the Reaper, named so for the countless lives that he absorbed and made his own, each only furthering his deadly lack of control. Gone mad with guilt and isolation, he strove for a single heroic act - his own demise. Death was less permanent than he hoped. Centuries later, he woke to a changed world and in a body not his own. Unfortunately, his power came with him. Yet this time, things would be different. This time, he had a chance to bring it under control. He could never truly make up for the things he had done; he could never achieve redemption. That wouldn't stop him from trying to be a hero. 8 141Raven Hood (and the Cloak of Azrael)
Long ago, in a nightmarish world created by the minds of humans, a war waged between monsters and angels. Once defeated, the monsters were forced to accept terms of surrender, terms that would enslave them forever. Their supposed hero, a hybrid infant of human and gargoyle blood, is sent off into hiding in the world of humans. All is going according to plan until Revan, a once normal 16-year-old begins going through changes he can't explain. His body is painfully morphing into something freakish and grotesque. Adopted by a Catholic Priest with a dark secret, will Father Donovan banish Revan from his Cathedral home? Or accept him as the demon he is? Or... will he kill him?
8 225The Bridges We Must Cross (Part 1/5)
"There are bridges that need to be crossed in the world. You and I have the same bridge that we must cross simultaneously lest we fall. So tell me, Prince...will we cross this bridge, or will we burn it?" Serah is a normal princess turned villanious pirate captain who is cold hearted and ruthless. Elizabeth is a guilt-stricken emotionally abused orphan who accidentally caused her mother's death. Tanner killed his father. On purpose. Henry seems bulletproof, but is made of glass. Lydia is the youngest, who has seen the darkest side of the moon. What happens when this rowdy, tough crew of bloodthirsty pirates meets their match: A group of spoiled royals, whose lives aren't as put together as they seem? Why, love's bound to happen in the process. (I do not own the cover) (This is set in a world different from ours, with different countries.) This is part one out of five parts. Five short books in all that span over a few years.
8 107Nobody's Way
Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. In a world where infighting once threatened the very survival of humankind, the old texts say that Maere personally stepped in to help guide Her creations to harmony. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play. Madrigal and Jian aren't sure if Quinn can be trusted, but they're certain he knows more than he's letting on...
8 101The idiotic adventures of Vini and Enzo

8 81In the Dark of Night
Sixteen years ago, the royal family was slain in cold blood. The entire country of Radëgon was plunged into an age of chaos. Monsters and Beasts that feasted on humans and Fae alike awoke from deep slumbers. Yet one type of creature remained dormant, barely even spoken of in Selene's home village. Demons. She believed them to be tales until one attacks her home and slaughters everyone. Escaping into the nearby forest with only a surviving child and a horse, Selene has to face the terrors of the world on her own. A power is awoken within Selene during an encounter with a beautiful demon who tells her someone is behind all the misery she has ever felt. With the help of a man who seems to know more about her power than he says, she sets out to find the being who took away the only things she ever loved. Little does she know, she's the one he wants."She had heard stories of entire towns vanishing in one night. Rumors of demons being their cause spread through the country, striking fear in the hearts of peasants and all those who were helpless to the will of the Realm of the Dead. Yet no one ever believed them, demons were myths. Even if they weren't, they hadn't woken up on the day the world fell to chaos.Selene gripped the rusted nail in her hands tighter, her palms slick with sweat. She saw the monster's shadow under the door as it inspected it. Then, it swung open.Fear unlike anything Selene had ever know filled her as she beheld what had mutilated Gwendolyn. The demon stepped into the room."
