Race: Undead Goblin Commander (Elite) Level: 32
Health: 3482 Mana: 2593
Skills: [Command], [Goblin Horde]
Hmm this was an interesting mob, definitely what I had been originally tasked to kill, but it seems the necromancer had killed and resurrected him, for some reason the goblins were still loyal, or at least to the necromancer perhaps, it may have something to do with command or goblin horde.
The goblin itself was wearing a leather or fur armour of sorts, it was just patches of whatever thrown together and sowed, badly might I add, however unlike any of the other goblins so far, it was holding a fairly large two handed axe, or it might have been a one handed axe that was too big for it.
I gave Alexis a nod, she and I knew each other’s play style to the point where we didn’t need words at this point, I really could entrust her with my life at this point. She nodded back knowing what I had planned.
I cast my shadow cloak for the extra damage, and crept up to the goblin in stealth, it didn’t seem to notice me at all, my hand tensed on the sword hilt at my, the goblin’s ears twitched, crap I had been found out.
Never mind, it didn’t notice anything, in one smooth slash I drew my blade and aimed straight for its neck.
-1180 HP
A solid hit, but it seems the goblin did in fact sense something, but ignored its senses or my stealth skill was too good for it, but after I hit him, he rolled away and screamed, at which point countless cracks started forming on the hill, crap I knew what this meant.
I quickly turned around to check up on Alexis, as expected she gave me back a doe-eyed stare back at me, pleading for me to save her, she was in trouble, luckily none were under her, but three cracks were forming near her, she couldn’t move, since we thought there was only a single undead she had begun to cast reverence, the penalty for interrupting a cast or getting interrupted was to be unable to cast for the double the duration of the cast time.
If she got interrupted we’d have 20 seconds without heals, and there were a good deal more than three cracks forming on the ground, I began rushing towards her, as green claws broke out from the cracks in the ground.

As I reached her three heads with green pointed ears were popping out of the ground, stepping on the head of one I struck at another.
-98 HP
-394 HP
Raising my sword above my head in fire stance, I went for a full strike at the last head, getting a good look of what we were up against.
Race: Minor zombie Level: 20
Health: 1050 Mana: 0
They were weak in comparison to the other undead so far and had absolutely no skills, but they seemed to have a lot of health, for now I had the aggro of these three and the boss, so I placed myself in between the zombies and Alexis, the perfect place to give myself a heart attack.
The hill was now covered in small goblin zombies, they were way too many, somewhere around thirty of them had appeared on the hill, I get that they’re meant to be weak, but isn’t this a bit too much, at this point Alexis was halfway through her cast, if she managed to finish we might have a chance of getting through this.
“GRAAAAAAGGHH”
The goblin screamed and pointed at me, I guess this was command, as the zombies all turned their eyes towards me, his mistake by making them focus on me, it had made my job a lot easier, I prepared as all the zombies started heading towards me,
The closest three zombies attacked me, I managed to dodge the first strike of the one who’s head I had stepped on, but the second and third hit me.
-100 HP -50 mana
-150 HP
These things were quite fast and strong, far more so than I thought they would be, thankfully they only seemed to have one attack per round, but if all 30 got to me I was a goner, a good half of them were more than ten seconds away on the other side of the hill, I just had to live until Alexis finished her cast, at the very least we’d get the commander, when we revived we’d just move on without challenging the commander again, it was simply too tough without a full party or maybe a raid.
A full party according to the site was seven people, no more could be added to the party afterwards, though parties could roam together by adding their party into a raid. A raid could have any number of parties, raids could have sub commanders who could direct anyone put under their command, loot was shared between your party and experience would only be shared by the party of whomever killed the mob, except for bosses.

When a boss died the experience was divided evenly between anyone in the raid who participated in the fight, those who with significant contribution could receive up to 400% bonus xp and loot was divvied up however the raid leader designated it.
Either way it was time for me to start dealing with the goblins, it was awkward since they were too small, water stance wouldn’t help me against them, wood was only good in a one vs. one, so I had to go with wind, and just dodge as best I could.
Entering wind stance I ran behind the three mobs that had spawned at Alexis’ cute feet, if I was right they should all be trying to attack me.
Dodging their claws as well as I could I rolled into the center of the horde, I was right as all of them were heading towards me, they were about half as fast as the goblins outside, which was pretty fast, faster than the skeletons at any rate.
It felt like a great adrenaline rush, similar to my hours of sparring with Theo, parry, dodge run, roll parry, dodge, run, and roll.
Of course no matter how fast or good I was I couldn’t dodge everything, but they were limited by how many there were of them, and I was letting them swarm me, so only about five to ten could attack me at any time, I wasn’t parrying at first because I had stopped doing it instinctively against the skeletons, since they would knock me back, but these zombies weren’t that strong, so I could get the perfect parry every now and again.
Attacks were coming in left and right, it seems if there’s too many boxes the game disables them so you don’t lose vision, that’s probably why they took them away once novice class is over, the only thing I saw was a percentage of my health in the top right corner of my eye.
91% HP
Dodging and parrying, countering when I could, Alexis’ cast would be done in 4 seconds,
3 goblins hit me, two were parried fully, the rest were dodged, to give Alexis some distance I started running towards the commander, he wasn’t attacking it seems, just watching.
76% HP
Running forward, most goblin’s attacks missed, one managed to hit my leg, another got my side.
66% HP
The goblin getting my leg didn’t injure me but it cut my sprint short, and now I was surrounded, five managed to hit me, four hits were parried and one dodged.
41% HP
My game was up, I was completely surrounded, but I should have given Alexis enough time to kill the commander, I managed to dodge the first goblin and parry the second, but I was swarmed eight hits were taken.
“Awaaaakkkkk”
The death cry of the commander rang out, a small blue triangle appeared in the bottom left corner of my eye, the number 3 was on it, indicating how much loot the commander dropped, but it could be sorted out at any point, and it would have to be sorted out when me and Alexis respawned, since I was about to go down to a goblin, and she wouldn’t survive long against the horde.
You have slain a goblin. X12
Suddenly the goblins surrounding me collapsed.
+440HP
Alexis, what a girl, she’s so shy and cute, but definitely not a noob, noobs panic and give up, that was a heal she thought wouldn’t make it, and without it I would have died as another three goblins had already come up to attack me.
One attack hit and two were countered.
-50 HP
-394 HP
You have slain a goblin.
-394 HP
You have slain a goblin.
I had to confirm it, inspecting one, their window had changed.

Yeah, we were super lucky, if we hadn’t taken the commander out straight away it was 100% impossible for us to get away with our lives, it seems leaders like that commander give a bonus to any of its minions, or at the very least it did for goblins.
Without their commander the goblins had become slow and weak as well, prior to this I could only block about three hits out of ten, now it was more like eight, it seems their strength or agility had also been tripled by the commander, it really was too good of a buff, either way, now we could handily beat down the goblins, and the last zombie fell to my sword.
“Waaahh.”
Before I could check the loot a wild sobbing Alexis appeared.
