'Mother! I've killed another one!'
I've been hunting adventurers lately since I got my first weapon. I avoided any of the groups that had a high life force or a number of magical items. Sticking to the weaker adventurers has helped me level up easier and get me more equipment. Though I still don't have much use for five swords and three sets of armor, but I carry them around anyway. The good thing about being a skeleton is that you can't even get tired from carrying around five swords, three daggers, two maces, two shields, a bow, three full quivers of arrows, three chestplates, two sets of greaves, four pairs of boots, two pairs of gauntlets, and two helmets. Carrying all this stuff around even levels up my strength without me knowing about it.
'Mother, what are my stats like now?'

'Even though I've killed many of them I still only leveled up four times.'
My title changed to include my class and my job switched to monster from guard. Due to carrying all this equipment around my strength rose considerably. As I was looting my most recent kill five life forces appeared in my vision. They were coming around the corner and I had only a few seconds before they saw me. I decided that this time I would test myself since I've never fought five adventurers at once so I readied my sword and got closer. When the first one came around the corner I threw my sword at him and managed to actually hit him in the chest with it. This adventurer was only wearing leather armor and my sword easily pierced through it.

I drew my second sword while I dropped the large bundle of armor I was carrying around and sprinted toward the others before they could react. Two of them ran to aid the one I hit with my sword and they didn't notice me. Since I had an opportunity I threw my second sword as I drew my third. This time I wasn't as lucky as before because I missed and the sword ended up hitting the wall. The last two rounded the corner and saw me but by then I was already close enough to attack and swung my sword at one of the ones who were helping the one I hit with my sword. Before my sword hit I saw a shield of mana appear around her and my sword bounced off of it.
One of the larger ones swung a large axe at me and I barely managed to dodge it. I tossed my third sword in an arc as I backed up and it cut the one that looked like a wizard in the arm. The large one was advancing on me and the one I cut in the arm was preparing a spell of some kind while the other two were dragging the one I impaled with my sword behind them. I had to act fast so I charged in with my fourth sword drawn.
'Now Mother! Activate Surge!'
Skill Activated:SurgeMovement speed increased by 200% for 6 seconds
You will not be able to activate Surge again for 24 hours
I leaned in and charged under the large one as he swung his axe past my head. I swung my sword from left to right hitting him in his left side then twisted my body and slashed the wizard across the chest. With the last seconds of my Surge I stabbed him in the chest with my sword to finish him. Surge then ended and I slightly underestimated the big guy because I was hit in the side and sent flying, hitting the wall.

The side where I hit him was gushing with blood and he could hardly stand. I was getting up and noticed that I landed next to my second sword so I grabbed it and stood up when an arrow hit me in the shoulder. One of the two in the back was an Elf Ranger and I could see she really didn't like me hurting her adventuring friends. She was crying as she kept shooting arrows at me.
'What kind of adventurer forgets that Skeletons are nearly immune to piercing damage? Just because it hits my armor doesn't mean it hits my body.'
I walked over to her while watching the other woman panic as she tried to heal the other three, two of which were already dead. The large man with the axe was now lying on the ground and wasn't moving.
'Is this what the adventurers feel when they kill me?'
A feeling of power filled me as I looked at them in their panicked and near dead state. At this point I reached the Ranger and she took out a dagger and tried to stab me. She didn't even try to surprise me so it was easy to grab her wrist and break it.
'Ha Ha! How does it feel to know that you're going to die!'
I knew they couldn't hear me so that kind of took the fun out of it and I decided to stop playing around. I stabbed the Ranger in the chest and when I turned to finish off the last one I noticed I had gotten to arrogant. I was hit with a spell, a spell I would've easily noticed if I wasn't busy losing myself in my uncertain victory. A bright light surrounded my body and burned it up from the inside.
'Mother! Activate Second Wind!'
Skill Activated:Second WindDeath prevented
Health restored to 10%
You will not be able to activate Second Wind again for 24 hours
With that I was saved from being turned to ash. I could see the look of surprise on her face but I wasn't about to give her another chance to kill me so I immediately cut her head off before she could react. Just like that, the first very tough battle of my life had ended.
