Brought to a separate dimension, enemies at his doorsteps, and they consisted of Miko and three unknown Dragna members. Rogan found himself in a predicament to say the less.

(Rogan, what’s the situation?)

Gaius’s voice echoed in his head.

“We have four guest. Two were here earlier today, one I’m completely unfamiliar with, and one who could be considered the final boss.”

(…What’s your move?)

Rogan moved from the entrance and started approaching Miko.

“Release the Crusaders.”

(…..Understood.)

Rogan smirked as he walked.

“Miko, I would love to say it’s a pleasure to meet you, but considering our circumstances, I can’t bring myself to tell a barefaced lie. In all honesty, your presences is an annoyance.”

Miko smiled.

“Our first meeting and I already annoy you. I must be quite the eyesore.”

“I guess you are.”

Miko lifted one finger.

“I’ll only ask once, surrender and obediently take your punishment.”

“I refuse.”

“You didn’t wait for me to explain the consequences of your disobedience.”

“I don’t need to.”

Rogan started grinning.

“Because none of you fools have the right to punish me.”

The smile fell from Miko’s face.

“Arrogance does indeed run in the family.”

“We’re descendants of a conqueror after all.”

“…I guess you’re right.”

Miko turned his back to Rogan.

“Let’s do as we discussed.”

Falkon nodded and stepped forward.

“Yo, brat. I heard you inherited my grandfather’s ability and is walking around with his inheritance.”

Rogan’s eyes narrowed.

“Who are you?”

“Falkon Dragna, first son of Claudius Dragna and the oldest grandchild of the man you’re trying to become.”

Rogan’s body flickered. Falkon thrust out his hand. His palm blocked Rogan’s fist.

“If that’s true, then I’ll need you to die here.”

Rogan’s blazer turned into light particles and transformed into a purple and gold halberd. He thrust it at Falkon’s head. The thrust pierced his head. Falkon’s figure faded away.

“Well, I’ll leave him to you guys.”

Rogan glanced behind him. Miko was entering the church. Rogan lifted his Halbred overhead to block an axe kick.

“I don’t think you have time to look away.”

Falkon poured power into his leg. Rogan leaped back and Falkon’s heel burst open the ground.

“Don’t worry, it won’t happen again.”

Rogan smirked.

“After all, like every church it’s filled with believers.”

“?!”

Miko leaped back and the church entrance exploded. Dust covered the area. Silhouettes flew out of the dust clouds, charging at Miko. He was surrounded from every angle.

“…….”

He silently observed his attackers. They were cladded in purple and gold robes with phoenixes on them.

“The clergy huh?”

Miko looked past them and into the church. He silently lifted his hand. They rushed towards him.

“Too bad for you, I don’t have time to waste on you people.”

He brought his hand down and his attackers froze. Not just them, everything around him came to a halt. Even the dust particles in the air.

Time resumed. Everything moved once again.

“?!”

The attackers halted again. Their target was gone.

“What?!”

Rogan froze. He spread his senses.

(He’s where Gaius is?! Did he teleport?!)

He stabbed his Halbred into the ground. Earth walls erected and blocked Falkon’s fist. He flew up as Falkon broke through the walls.

“Look at you getting distracted again.”

Falkon blasted off the ground.

“Octavian Halbred Arts: Red Storm!”

Rogan thrust his arm and hundreds of halbred rushed towards Falkon. The strikes hit his body without resistance.

“Primus Art:….”

Falkon’s body flashed red as he clenched his fist. Rogan’s eyes widened. Falkon continued to fly at him.

“Refractive Fist.”

Hundreds of fists rushed at Rogan. The fist turned into Halbred strikes.

“Nina!”

A black chain wrapped around Rogan’s waist. It pulled him out of the air. He evaded the attack and landed beside Nina.

“And here’s our other target.”

Falkon landed between his children.

“Did you see Miko on your way here?”

“…No. Did he slip by me?”

“Yeah. He’s already with Gaius.”

Rogan’s eyes narrowed.

“I think that’s his plan from the beginning. They keep us occupied while he handles her.”

“…Meaning, he drew me out here and slipped by me huh?”

Nina frowned. The robed attackers gathered around them.

“Alright, Kids. We’ll do as discussed.”

“Crush everybody that comes out of the church, right?”

Chika put on a pair of brown and gold gauntlets. Verde summoned two spiky weights attached to a chain, a Meteor Hammer.

The hair on Rogan’s arm stood as he felt the air tremble. A suffocating pressure fell on the area as the three enemies before him showed their fanged grins.

“Now then…”

Falkon took a step towards them.

“Let’s show these imposters how to truly use the Dragna techniques.”

Meanwhile, Miko was standing face to face with Gaius.

“……..”

“……..”

Neither spoke and just kept looking at each other.

“…I see. You used Time and Space Magic to arrive here without anyone noticing; effectively luring everyone away while you appear before me.”

Gaius pointed at Miko.

“However, your ploy caused a great effect on your body.”

Blood was flowing from his nose and his eyes were bloodshot.

“That’s the price for using magic beyond what you’re currently capable of.”

“It’s a small price to meet someone like yourself.”

Miko wiped the blood from his nose.

“I’m honored. So I take it you know what I am from your Timeless Explorations.”

“A primordial earth spirit who belongs to a forgotten race. I don’t know how Augustus found and befriended you, but I’m certain you’re the last of your kind.”

Gaius smiled.

“So what now? Are you here to destroy me, destroy the Augustine Regime? Do you blame us for what happened to the Gremlin?”

Miko shook his head.

“I intend to find who hurt Aeon and destroyed them. My reason for coming after you is different.”

“What’s your reason?”

“Preservation of my people.”

“Which doesn’t necessarily equals my destruction?”

“I have no intention of destroying something Augustus left behind in order to protect our clan.”

Miko’s eyes narrowed.

“But I have every intention of destroying any tool of Krow’s.”

Gaius grinned.

“Do you think you can do it? I’m a primordial being comparable to the strongest of Higher Beings.”

A bright light flashed and dozens of portals opened behind her. From them came towering beings covered in runes and chains.

“Allow me introduce our Crusaders, warriors whose ferocity struck fear into even the hearts of gods, the Berserkers.”

“Oh, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen Berserkers. I’m a huge fan of them, so I think it’s sad they’re extinct.”

Azure fog flowed out of Miko’s body and engulfed his surroundings. A silhouette appeared in fog as chaos invaded Gaius’s head and tried to influence her thoughts. The chaos disappeared the moment it entered.

“So this is your Irregularity? I must admit it’s quite something if it could affect my mind, even if only slightly.”

Miko appeared in his Chaos Lord form.

(He really turned into Tiamat.)

Gaius’s eyes narrowed.

“While your Irregularity is impressive I don’t see how it will help you out of this situation.”

Gaius spread her arms.

“You’re surrounded by Divine Beings designed and bred for war. Unless you take your Satan Form you have no chance of winning. Even with it, it will be a hard battle.”

(Miko can’t take his Satan form, because he risk assimilating his other personality and losing his current self. I learned this from Octavian’s transformation into Augustus. The more an Irregular uses their True Form, the closer they come to turning into their true self. Miko’s true self desires destruction and chaos, he’ll be in the way of developing this empire…So what’s the play here?)

Miko smirked.

“Despite living so many years and witnessing so many eras, I can’t believe you still haven’t learned.”

“What haven’t I learnt?”

Miko clasped his hands as if praying.

“There’s nothing that’s impossible.”

His eyes glowed.

“Allow me to teach you this.”

Meanwhile, the battle of Falkon and his children vs Rogan and Nina had intensified.

“Octavian Halbred Arts: Revised- Black Heaven’s Wrath!”

Rogan disappeared leaving a black spark behind.

A thunderous explosion erupted in the district. Buildings crumbled, the earth burst apart, and the air trembled in fear.

“Heh.”

And yet, Rogan’s strike was stopped by Falkon’s fist. He kicked Rogan in the stomach. Rogan blocked it with one hand. Falkon jumped off his pivot leg. He swung it at rogan’s head. Rogan evaded him with a back step and thrust his Halbred at Falkon’s throat. Falkon slammed his fist on the Halbred and forced it out of Rogan’s hand.

“Primus Art:…!”

He stepped in twisting his straighten hand. Rogan tracked his hand with his eyes.

“Acceleration Strike!”

Falkon’s hand burst in speed.

“?!”

Claws appeared inches away from Rogan’s eyeballs in a second. He twisted his body and barely evaded the hand.

*Boom!*

He was hit by a shockwave and forced away. He twisted body in the air and stretched his hand out. His Halbred appeared in his hands. He used it to block another strike from Falkon.

“Is this all you got, Fraud?!”

Rogan gritted his teeth as he locked eyes with Falkon. Meanwhile, Chika punched a clergy member and buried them in the earth. She glanced at Nina who stared at her with lifelessly eyes.

(She’s like a puppet.)

Beside her, Verde appeared dragging several crusaders with chains attached to them.

“The odds are stacked against you, yet you haven’t made any moves.”

He cocked his head to the side as he looked at Nina.

“Are you suicidal?”

“I don’t know, am I?”

“Well, it doesn’t make any difference to us. We’re just here to crush you guys.”

“………”

Nina silently glanced at Rogan. He glanced at her and nodded.

He leaped back. He took a deep breath as his eyes shone a rainbow color. A rainbow aura covered him and the rest of the members of the church.

“This is…”

Falkon scanned his surroundings. His eyes widen when a golden sword appeared in Rogan’s hand.

“Vastator?!”

His eyes trembled as they stared at the sword.

“Wait, a copy?”

His eyes instantly became bloodshot.

“You dare mock my grandfather’s legacy?!”

The space trembled as Falkon roared. Rogan smirked.

“Alright, let’s take this up a notch.”
