《Wait, You're Gay Too?! [BoyXBoy]》Drown In Despair

Nathan (Friday)
"Yeah, Cayden and I were gonna go to the park today for a picnic, but he has family issues. I was wondering if you could come instead."
"Can Jake come, too?" I asked, smiling as Jake pressed our hands together. His hands were much bigger than mine.
"Actually, Nathan... Nothing against Jake, but I was thinking it could just be us." I haven't been away from Jake in a while... It seemed weird without him.
"Oh, uh... Yeah, sure." I watched as Jake kissed my hand and trailed his kisses up to my shoulder.
"Don't let her keep you out too long," Jake playfully growled as he nuzzled my hair. "We're supposed to do our movie and cheat night tonight." My heart raced a bit. Cheat night was the night I was allowed to eat some sweets and junk. With Jake, it usually consisted of chocolate and whipped cream, only because he can't help but want to lick both things off of me.
"Y-Yeah, Adi, I'll go," I smiled. "I'll see you around five..."
"Bye." And she hung up. Jake took my phone and tossed it away. He nuzzled me and wouldn't let go.
"Do you have to go?" He whined like a child. "It's just supposed to be us!" I sighed.
"I know, I know... But she loves Cayden and hates being alone... And I'm her friend... I owe her," I looked at him.
"Owe her?"
"For all she's done for me... She's lied to so many people when I got hurt.. She's stood up for me ever since I met her.." I felt myself smile a bit. "I told my mom, she was like my guardian angel, you know?" Jake hummed happily and cuddled against me. I have three hours until I need to meet Adi. This would be great. I haven't seen her for so long... And maybe she'll become the real her without Cayden around.
~*~
Jake pulled up to the park and looked around. Adi smiled and waved at us from a small park table. I waved back and got a kiss from Jake before getting out and running to her. I waved and blew a kiss to Jake before he smirked. He put his hand out the window, caught my kiss and drove away. A cool breeze bit at my skin, making the hair on my arms raise.

"I'm glad you could make it," Adi giggled. "I was going to be here all alone.." She sat us down and set out the small dinner and gave me a water bottle.
"I'm glad I could come," I smiled back and took a sip. "Where's Cayden?"
"He had to do things with his family unexpectedly. Like, a family meeting I guess."
"Ah, okay." I smiled. "Hey, at least you have me, right? And it's just us, too..." I breathed in, the scent of the musky lakeside mud and gentle hint of the pine tree forest not too far from here filled my nose. The quiet choir of crickets hidden in the tall grasses around us just made it that more relaxing.
"Nathan... I'm your best friend, right?" Adi spoke softly, her hair hiding her face. Her soft cheek bones and pink lips were all I saw.
"Of course... Why?" I saw her body stiffen.
"A-And... You'd forgive me... If I made a mistake, right..?" Her voice had become shaky and fearful. This was weird... Adi never spoke of anything like this.
"Of course I would... You're my guardian angel," I offered a small smile. All of a sudden, it became quiet. The breeze wasn't blowing; the crickets had stopped their beautiful tunes. Just... Silent. Something glimmered on Adi's cheek.
A tear.
Before I could react, a pair of hands covers my eyes and mouth. I couldn't scream. Something smelt weird... It was rotten and bitter, and it caused my ears to ring. In panic, I scratched at the hands and thrashed around.
This wasn't right...
The person holding me was too strong, and I felt everything starting to become distorted. Breathing wasn't an option anymore, and neither was seeing or hearing. Everything went black and silent... And this time... No one was there to save me.
~*~
"N-No! Cayden, please! You said we'd be together forever!"
My head was pounding, as if two small bugs were slamming baseball bats into my brain. There were two voices, but I couldn't really make out who it was.

"And you fell for it, exactly like Jessica."
Jessica.... I know that name...
"J-Jessica? So it's tr-true... Y-You killed her!!!"
Who killed Jessica..? The taste of dirty cloth was in my mouth, and it was soggy... It felt like my eyelids were glued shut. I tried to use my hands to rub my eyes, but a sudden, sharp pain surrounded both of my wrists. It felt like needles and straw. My throat was on fire, impossible for me to make a sound.
"Of course I did. I drowned her, placed her in the car and pulled the brake out. She rolled into the lake and everyone believed it was an accident!" There was an evil laugh.
C-Cayden... Killed Jessica... I forced my eyes to open, and everything was blurry. I couldn't make anything out. There was a female scream that nearly made me pee my pants. I blinked furiously, trying to get my sight back. It all became clear.
And all I saw was Cayden... And his muscular body sitting on Addison as her face was forcefully kept in the water.
She was dying...
My best friend...
I tried screaming for him to stop, but all it sounded like was a muffled bunch of sounds. Please stop!! YOU CAN'T KILL MY BEST FRIEND! PLEASE! I'M NOTHING WITHOUT HER!
Adi was thrashing around, but she couldn't get him off... Every second was pure horror. Every second, more water went into her lungs. Every second...
A part of me was dying with her.
Tears filled my eyes... All I could think was how sorry I was... I could only blame myself... And I lost all hope when Adi's body became still. Cayden chuckled and lifted her. He listened close to her mouth, and happily dropped her back into the water. He left her there. He walked up to me and grabbed me by my hair.
"Oh, good. You're awake." He glanced back at Adi's body. "You got to see only the beginning performance." He pulled me close and breathed in. Only pain was the thing I was feeling... Not fear.
Pain that I had lost my best friend, and I watched her die.
Pain that I didn't do anything to stop him...
Pain that I probably wouldn't see Jake again.
"I'm happy you're gay," Cayden licked my cheek, causing more of my heartbroken tears to fall. "You can actually experience a true man." He grabbed my shirt and forced me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
Why me..?
All I ever did was cause pain and suffering to everyone around me... I didn't want to be that person... I never wanted this... Now, I watched Adi be murdered, being held against my will and I'll probably never be able to go home...
I am a prisoner.
Jake.... Someone.... Anyone... Save me.
Please.
Cayden forced me into the trunk of his car. He kissed my hair, filling my heart with disgust. How could he be so affectionate after killing another girlfriend...?
"Don't worry, Nathan. I'll take VERY good care of you, while Jake and his entire pack is slaughtered," he smiled and slammed the trunk shut.
Cold... Darkness, devouring me with every moment inside that trunk. And I could feel my own insanity growing.
Jake... Adi... Mommy...
Forgive me.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
