《Little Rebel》Chapter 18

My jaw dropped at what I saw in front of me.
"PERRIE!!!" I screeched.
"JORDYN!!!" She yelled, running up to me.
I ran over to her also, meeting her in the middle. When we met, I jumped on her.
Luckily, she caught me and I wrapped my legs around her waist.
We hugged for a while, until she finally put me down.
"I've missed you so fucking much." I said, wiping my eyes.
"I missed you too babe." She said.
I looked over to see Kian and Ricky filming me. I didn't care though.
My best friend and I were reunited.
"And the surprises don't stop here." Kian said, beaming at me.
I looked over at Perrie and she winked at me.
We all climbed back in the car. This time I sat between Kian and Perrie.
Ricky driving and Connor sitting shotgun.
"Can I please play my ipod?" I asked.
Connor took my phone from me an plugged it in to the AUX cord.
He handed it back to me, the cord just barely long enough to reach.
Perrie and I scrolled through my music, until she clicked on 3005 by Childish Gambino.
We talked nonstop over the music until the car stopped.
"Finally!" Cam yelled, rushing out of the car.
Perrie and I gave him a look, then followed the others out to the sidewalk.
"Kay, follow me Jord." Kian told me.
I grabbed Perrie's hand and we all followed him across the street and into a building.
"Hey Romeo!" Kian called.
A guy came out of a back room, covered in tattoos.
"Kian! Jc! And friends. Oh, girl friends." He said, coming over to us.
He did that special man hug thing with Kian and Jc, and wiggles his eyebrows at us when he said 'girl friends'.

"Romeo. This is my sister Jordyn and her best friend Perrie." Kian said, emphasizing sister.
Romeo coughed then held out his hand.
We both shook it, saying hi.
"And this is our other two room mates Connor and Ricky. And some friends who are visiting Nash and Cam." Jc explained.
"Wait, so why are we here?" I whispered to Perrie as Romeo and the guys talked.
"Oh Jord. I would've thought you were smarter than that." Perrie laughed.
I rolled my eyes and motioned for her to explain.
"Jordyn. We're here so you can get a tattoo." She said slowly.
I screamed.
Everyone stopped their conversation and looked at us.
Cam came running over.
"What happened?" He asked frazzled.
"I'm really getting a tattoo!" I said, more a statement then a question.
Kian nodded, smiling at me.
I screamed again.
"So, Jordyn. What do you want?" Romeo asked me.
I pulled out my phone and showed him the tattoo I wanted.
"You sure?" Romeo asked me, smiling.
"Positive," I said.
"And you want it on your finger, like the picture?" He double-checked.
"Yup." I said, popping the p.
"Kay, let me draw something up." Romeo said, going back in the back room.
"So, what are you getting?" Everyone asked me.
"Its a surprise." I winked.
"Are you getting a new tattoo?" Connor asked Kian.
"Yuuup." He said.
"Will you tell us what you're getting?" Nash asked.
"I'm getting the moon phases on my fingers." Kian said.
Romeo came out of the backroom.
I went over to him and he showed me what he drew.
"Perfect." I smiled.
I grabbed Perrie's hand and we followed Romeo back to the back room.
"Can I come?" Kian called after us.

"Hell no." I said, making the guys laugh.
I sat down in a chair and Romeo sat next to me. Perrie sat on the floor and leaned against my legs.
I held out my left hand and Romeo put the drawing on the inside of my middle finger.
"Ohhh, I love it Jord!" Perrie squealed.
"Thanks. So do I." I sighed.
Romeo got the ink and everything ready and started outlining it.
I winced a little, but it wasn't too bad.
Perrie and I talked with Romeo the entire time.
"And done." He said, wiping all the extra ink off my finger.
"Oh my god, I love it." I said.
"Its beautiful." Perrie said, looking at it.
Romeo wrapped my finger.
We all stood up and left the room.
"Can I see?" Everyone asked.
"Nope." I shrugged.
"Kian, you ready bro?" Romeo asked.
"You know it." Kian stood up.
Cam followed them into the back room, muttering something about wanting to talk to Kian about something.
"When can we see?" Ricky asked.
I shrugged and touched the tender skin.
"And I already know what my next tattoo is." I said.
"Jordyn, you're weird." Jc said.
"Tell me something I don't know." I laughed.
"Yeah Jc. If you're just now figuring out Jordyn is weird. You're really slow." Perrie said.
I pointed and Perrie and nodded.
After waiting for a while, I finally got bored of sitting in the chair and laid down on the floor.
"IIIIII'MMMMM SOOOOO BOOOOOREDDDDD!!!" I yelled.
"Shut up!" Nash screamed at me.
Your mean." I pouted.
I rolled over to my stomach and pulled out my phone.
I went on twitter and scrolled through my time line, favoriting random things.
Kian and Cam came out of the back room.
"FINALLY!" I screamed, jumping up. "Lets go"
I ran out of the building, before going back in.
"Thanks." I said, giving Romeo a hug, then ran back out.
This time everyone followed me.
"Can we go get something to eat?" I asked, buckling my seat belt.
"Can you show us your tattoo?" Connor asked.
"Depends on if we can go eat." I shrugged.
"Yeah, can we go to Panera?" Ricky asked.
Everyone nodded, so Ricky started driving to Panera.
We got there and ordered our food, sitting at the biggest table they had.
They brought us our food and we started eating.
"Can I please see your tattoo?" Cam asked.
"Ok." I sighed.
Everyone cheered as I took of the bandage.
"Wow." Ricky said.
"Its really cool." Jc told me.
"Its beautiful." Cam said, looking me in the eye.
"Its perfect." Kian said.
I smiled and looked down at small infinity sign inked in the skin of the inside if my middle finger. "I know right."
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
So I just got home from being in Snoqualmie Pass this weekend and I really miss the snow. It sorta snowed here, but barely any and its already melting.
And Jordyn's tattoo is the tattoo I want, an infinity sign on the inside of my middle finger.

Dig a Little Deeper
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Being a dungeon isn't easy. Past memories just out of reach, not wanting to be a murder pit and trying to find a purpose are just the beginning. It takes time and several hiccups to transition from being a mobile being to being a stationary rock that changes the word with its mind. What is the miasma right outside the door? What monsters does it hide? Can the people that have found me really be trusted? Now planning to post a chapter every other week. I have added a volume for the maps so they are easy to find. There are spoilers on the maps. Cover art commissioned from Rachel Paizs through Upwork.com

Storm
The Storm started six months ago, and no one knows where it came from. All they know is it hasn't stopped for a single day, and you better follow the one rule: Don't go out in the rain. Hiding in the broken building of her old high-school, seventeen-year-old Marylou is one of the few to have survived this far. She doesn't believe in the Ghosts -- shapeless creatures said to roam under the rain outside -- but, to be fair, she doesn't really believe in anything except booze and the unconditioned love of her ball python snake, Evil Noodle. Chance brings Marylou together with Amy, a mysterious girl with an even more mysterious past, and Dean and Ray, two young men running what they call 'the last pizza place in California'. As the Storm rages on stronger by the day, the foursome will have to make a choice: keep hiding under roof after roof, waiting for starvation, or set out to the road and face whatever hides out there, under the Storm.
