Still Cameron's POV:
Nash held up his phone and motioned to me that he was going to call Kian. I nodded and leaned against the railing next to Jordyn.
"Hey." I said, looking into the water.
"Hi," She said, rolling across the uneven planks.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked.
"Nothing." Jordyn said.
"Why'd you run out of the house?" I asked her, still not looking at her.
She shrugged. "I'm not sure."
"Thats not a good reason, we were all worried." I told her.
She scoffed. I finally looked up. "You don't believe me?"
"Not really." She said.
"Well why not?" I challenged.
"Because my brother hasn't worried about me since the last time he called me, which was like last year, Sam never cared about me, I've just always been his best friend's annoying sister. Ricky, Jc, Connor, and Trevor just met me yesterday, and you, Nash, Jenn, and, Andrea met me today." Jordyn explained.
"So, just because we don't know you as well as Perrie doesn't mean we can't care about you?" I asked her.
She nodded, then stopped. "How do you know Perrie?"
"Oh, um. We Skyped her to try and figure out where you were." I muttered.
"How did you-You hacked my computer!" She yelled.
"Shh," I covered her mouth with my hand.
Jordyn wasted no time in licking my palm and I pulled my hand away and wiped it on my pant leg, disgusted.
"I don't want to go back." She muttered.
"Well then what do you want to do?" I asked.
Nash had finally come back and was standing on Jordyn's other side.
"I don't know." She shrugged.
"Hmmm," Nash twirled her pink streak. "This is fading, want to dye your hair again?"

Her face broke out in a huge smile and her eyes twinkled. "Yas!"
She bent down and grabbed her skateboard then started running away from us. Nash and I looked at each other and sighed. This girl really does have alot of energy.
We ran after her, catching up. "Jordyn, you have no idea where the car is." I told her, still running.
She stopped abruptly, making Nash and I told bump into her.
"Show me to the car!" She cheered, jumping on Nash's back.
We fast-walked back to the car and went to the nearest Rite Aid. Jordyn ran ahead of us to the hair dye isle.
We quickly caught up with her. She was pacing up and down the isle, looking at all the different colors.
"Do you still want pink?" Nash asked, picking up a box of pink hair dye.
"Maaaaybe." She said, tapping her chin.
"What about something like green." I said, showing her a box of lime green dye.
"I really like those colors." She said, grabbing both of them.
"Why not both?" Nash suggested.
"Brilliant!" Jordyn shouted, making people stare at us.
"Shhh," I shushed her.
"Don't tell me what to do." She said in a purposefully loud voice.
"Lets just pay for you dye." I said.
As we were paying for the hair dye, Jodyn was looking at her split ends.
"I think I wanna get it cut too." She said, still looking at her hair.
"But it's so long and pretty." Nash said, stroking her hair, which made me kind of mad for some reason.
"I know. Long and boring. I want bangs or something." Jordyn said, folding the front of her hair over, like bangs.
"Alright." I said.
We left the store and went to the nearest hair cutter place.

"Surprise me." Jrodyn said when she sat in the chair.
My eyes widened and Nash said, "Jordyn..."
"Shut up." Jordyn rolled her eyes at us.
"Don't cut it all off or anything crazy," I whispered the hair dresser.
She nodded and started spraying Jordyn's hair with water.
She cut it to about the middle of her back or so and then parted her hair on the side. She then cut her bangs a bit past her chin.
"There, do you like it?" The hairdresser asked, combing Jordynn's hair after drying it.
"Eh, a little more boring than I would have thought for 'surprise me', but it'll do." She said, leaping of the chair.
The lady looked taken aback by Jordyn's bluntness, but I gave her a look that said ignore her.
We payed for her haircut then started back to the O2L house.
When we got there, Jordyn grabbed the bag of hair dye and ran in the house, ignoring everone's questions and went upstairs.
Nash and I went up there also, everyone else following us.
We explained how we went to the pier and found her there, then we went to Rite Aid, then the hair cutters place.
We went to the bathroom and found Jordyn reading the directions on the hair dye and examining her hair.
She shrugged then ripped open the box, all ten of us watching her. She grabbed her phone and put on some music before starting.
Jordyn's POV:
After I got my hair cut and went back to Kian's house, I wasn't in the mood to answer anyone's questions, so I ran upstairs to the bathroom ignoring everyone.
Although I did hear their footsteps coming up the stairs.
I started reading the directions on the box and examined my hair to see what I wanted pink and what I wanted green.
I just shrugged, decide to just wing it, and opened the box. Before I started working with the dye though, I pulled out my phone and turned on some music. I turned on my playlist full of Adam Lambert, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Imagine Dragons, Mariana's Trench, and Nickleback.
Haven't Had Enough by Mariana's Trench came on and I pulled out everything from the box. I put on the glothes and started sectioning the parts I wanted green or pink.
I put the rest of my hair in a ponytail and started working on the pink, feeling everyones eyes on me.
I mixed the dye and started putting it in my hair, humming along to Better Than I Know Myself by Adam Lambert.
"Do one of you want to start mixing the green?" I asked, turning to the others.
Ricky stepped forward and grabbed the stuff from my hands, mixing it.
Jenn and Andrea came into the bathroom and started helping me on where the green should go.
After we finished dying my hiar, I pushed everyone out of the bathroom and got in the shower to rinse the extra dye out of my hair.
I put my pajamas on and dried my hair, then went downstairs where everyone else was waiting.
"Wow," Jc said.
"That looks really good." Connor said.
"Girl, your hair slays." Trevor snapped his fingers.
Kian came over and ruffled my hair. "Looks good, Jordyn."
"Thanks Kian." I said, being my awkward self.

In The Tall Grass
Elizabeth Wilson commits suicide. She was the golden girl among her peers in Darkwood, Washington who stood above the pressure of her drug-ridden town. Explore the summer before her senior year that triggered the domino effect of Elizabeth's emotional and psychological breakdown that lead her to take her own life. This is the prequel to the main story, Petrichor and was never intended to be made. I wrote this because I wanted to explore Elizabeth's character and show how the main characters have changed since this event. I decided to release this first because Petrichor is undergoing a full rewrite. In the meantime, I'm writing a side story called Mourning Glory that takes place between the second and third act of Petrichor. Development is going rather fast so I suggest to to read that if you like this story
